I'll probably be playing a faction of Vamp nobles from their homeland. Who, in a twist, aren't there to drain the city of their blood.

They just have Problems with slavery.

Which means, considering they're nobles and don't see why this cities silly old laws should apply to them, means their methods of fighting it aren't limited just to pretty speeches.

Though, joking aside, I did have a chat with Flagg about this. This isn't Skyrim, or Assassins Creed, or any such outfit. The Guard isn't a bunch of failed adventurers nor are they simple cannon fodder. If you kill a couple of them, expect revenge to be swift. Though, judging from the quality of interest I see here, I expect more of you will probably operate like modern gangs, below the radar and trying not to attract attention, that is of course bad for business.

Vampires are not necessarily illegal in New Anathagos. But they will bear close watching. Abolitionists on the other hand...

@Sigma I like the race, and I'm okay with a faction of it occupying a fortified slum, but we should maybe have the Grogari somewhat integrated into the city. So like, folks know not to go into the Whiteclaw neighborhood, but it's not in a state of open war with the Watch...all the time at least. Also, what about their slum being an abandoned, half-flooded section of the city? Like a part that was never really rebuilt after Kraken attack or something?

@all: Should have put this in the OP and will do when I have time. The current Prime Minister, leader of the House of Wisdom (upper house of parliament/supreme court/oligarchs) is Sir Gavyn Gwent, youngest son of House Gwent. More details on him and his house to come.

They probably abuse the hell out of the fact they're technically nobles of another nation, so they can't be dragged out and executed without risking war.

That, and I'll be playing up the shadowy manipulator aspect of vampires.

Sure thing, none-whiteclaw Grogari in other parts of the city would be nice and of course elements of the Whiteclaws spread out as well :)

As for the Slum idea, yeah I like the sound of it!
