It has come to our attention that you possess a rather uncommon skill, one which will serve you well in the coming challenges. If you are reading this letter then you must know of your new found skill. Our messenger dragons are quite the chatty bunch. If you are so inclined there is a position available to you and a select few others to join an ancient group of extremely privileged people. To do so you must take this letter and dispose of it immediately however that you see fit. If you do not wish to be a part of this simply dismiss this letter and it will disappear on its own. You have a twenty-four hour window for immediate disposal of this letter.

Viviana held the piece of parchment in her hand looking strangely at it. Yes or no? Would she go? She looked around at the small, no tiny, efficiency apartment that she had managed to snag and walked to the counter in the kitchen. She had to, she had just been thinking about how much she needed a break from life. This was the perfect opportunity. She snagged a lighter from the shelf near by and lit the corner of the parchment, dropping it down into the stainless steel sink. Yes.She thought as she watched the flames consume the document, they were a beautiful shade of purple just slightly darker than lavender.

She washed the ashes down the drain and headed to pack her bags, thinking of the strange lavender colored creature that had delivered it. The creature appeared to have been a dragon but perhaps her mind had deceived her and it was merely a strange bird of some kind. She was fairly sure that she had seen scales though, and what kind of bird was lavender colored. It had sailed through the open window of her apartment like the pigeons sometimes did, it was about a two feet long with a much larger wingspan and was beautiful, its irises a brilliant but soft shade of glimmering pink. It had landed on the coffee table at her feet with a sheer elegance she had not seen before. 'For you m'lady.' came the strange voice and then it had bobbed its iridescent head and taken off back out the window, disappearing from her sight.

Characters for this roleplay will be in their twenties, we will begin shortly after they have arrived at the school via secret portal locations around the globe. Shortly after their arrival and welcome to the school they will be heading to the incubation cavern. Before we get to this scene though I will be PMing everyone their dragon egg. The PM will contain a picture of the egg and the species of dragon it contains. The dragons will be appointed randomly from a generator. I will assign each species a number and then allow the computer to select a number which will be your dragon. Bear with me it is for the sake of the plot, everybody gets a cool dragon don't worry. This roleplay will be focusing primarily on student-student interactions and student-dragon interactions. There won't be much time, if any at all spent inside the class room.
The character sheet skeleton will be listed below, please bold the section titles if you would and use hiders for the photos to keep things neat. I would appreciate if everyone would post them here in the OOC so I can look over them briefly before I give the go ahead. Dragon Species Descriptions

Celestial

Celestials are iridescent dragons that are generally pastel colored, they are solitary creatures in the wild and remain aloft from the time they learn to fly steadily until they die. Like, most dragons they have extraordinarily long lifespans, living well over a thousand years. Celestial females tend to be more brightly colored than the males and when full grown are roughly 45' long and have a wing span of nearly 60'. These dragons have the ability to form balls of light that can do major damage or simply light their path, the intent behind the light is what makes it dangerous to other beings. These dragons can also manipulate light in order to form illusions.

Butterfly

Butterfly dragons are one of the strangest variety of dragons, covered in thick fur like feathers rather than scales. They are a smaller dragon just a touch bigger than a very large draft horse, around 8 feet tall at the shoulder and around 16 feet long. Their wingspan tends to be around 16 feet across as well. These dragons are highly social and remain in herds for their entire life, their patterns mimic those of real butterflies from whatever area they are from. These dragons jet around at a much faster rate than seems possible. Though they are naturally colorful these dragons are highly poisonous, their blood and saliva are dangerous and can cause death within minutes if they enter the blood steam and can make animals very sick if it is not immediately washed off the skin. They also possess the ability to change their coloring to blend in with their surroundings. They can expand this ability to their soul bonded.

Ying-Yang

Ying-Yang dragons are from the Asiatic plains and are revered for their fortune telling abilities. The dark head tells the dark outcomes while the light head gives the light outcomes. They are not very large dragons, only around 15 to 18 feet tall, the males are larger than females. Their wingspans tend to be around the same as their height and they are generally poor fliers, preferring instead to walk around on the ground. They can fly but only for short distances, generally no more than five to ten miles at a time. They are social but not overly so as the butterfly dragons are. They meander around and interact when they come across one another, living inside specific home ranges in the wild.

Seraph

Seraphs are widely regarded as the most beautiful dragons, they are exceedingly rare due to their breeding habits. There are roughly 6 males to every 1 female of the species. They are a medium sized dragon around 50 to 60 feet long with a wingspan of 40 to 55 feet across. These dragons are iridescent and white in color, with golden accents that are made of a substance unrecognized by humans. The males have a set of golden horns that protrude from their skull, these are believed to be a display for the very few females. These dragons are capable of a number of feats, the most prominent of these is their ability to form large shields.

Gem

Gem dragons are unusual creatures in that they thrive in the man made environments of abandoned mines. They are smaller dragons due to their preferred living spaces standing only around 6 to 9 feet tall and ranging 10 to 12 feet long with a wing span of 7 to 9 feet across. They are most commonly adorned with one particular kind of precious gem though some can produce as many as 3 types of gems. These dragons are highly sought after on the black market for their gems that they produces and are thus quite rare. These dragons become and more and more adorned with gems as they get older and female are more heavily encrusted with gems than the males are. They breathe noxious fumes that are extremely toxic and form a thick fog of gases that fumigate the mines they live in when threatened.

Cave

Cave dragons are an odd bunch, larger than you might expect as well standing around 12 to 15 feet tall, ranging from 13 to 16 feet long and with a wingspan similar to their length. They are also bioluminescent and have large rounded patches that glow brightly in the darkness of their underground home. These dragons rarely see the light of day and thus have acute sight in the darkness. Their eyesight is far better than even other dragons. Cave dragons are also semi-aquatic, some more so than others, they swim and lurk in the underground rivers and have the ability to hold their breath and see underwater for hours on end in the darkness. Their skin is also smooth and has no scales unlike many other dragons. They are capable of hurling massive amounts of water across long distances at anyone who startles them. This water can also be exceptionally lethal at the speed it is expelled at. These dragons cannot stay out of the water for very long, especially in the sunlight or above the surface of the planet.

Mountain

Mountain dragons are the very stereotypical dragons that most people think of. They are are greedy, hoarding treasures of all kinds that they collect over their lifetimes. Mountain dragons are exceedingly large standing 35 to 45 feet tall and are roughly 50 to 60 feet long with a wingspan of 40 to 50 feet. These dragons come in an variety of colors from bright red with a light colored belly to nearly black in color and every shade of brown and tan in between. These animals are lazy, seeking out livestock rather than bothering to hunt for the plentiful wildlife in their environment. Due to this they are heavily hunted and becoming increasingly rare.

Geode

Geode dragons are very similar to Crystal dragons in that they are made from crystal formations and seem to grow only to the size of the cave system that they were born in. Even if they move cave systems, which is rare they will never grow past what their birth place would allow. These dragons are docile beasts that do not seem to have a care in the world. They are fierce builders though and some of the best architects around. Their skills lie in beautifying the world around them. They do have some minor fighting abilities but they tend to build armor and are used in support of the more combat ready dragons.

Forest

Forest dragons are some of the odder dragons, males have massive antlers not unlike an elk in form. Males fight with these for breeding rights and the females are considerably more sedate and often can be found nurturing a variety of forest creatures. They are a mixture of shades of green and while female tend to be considerably smaller than the males they can still grow to be around 30 feet long and around 20 feet tall. Females tend to sport more vibrantly colored plant life across their bodies and often have flowers that flow and bloom in all seasons under their care. These dragons do breath fire but they are more inclined to use their ability to speak to wildlife and control the plant life around them. Their soul bound partners also gain this ability to manipulate plants and speak to animals.

Cobra

Cobra dragons are some of the least common dragons, they reside in tropical places much like their namesake and come in several patterns. When they are lounging around normally their hood is not spread but if they are fearful or threatened they will spread their hood in an attempt to look bigger. This has mostly been ruled for mating brawls as what else would mess with a dragon of any size. They are exceptionally venomous and can spray venom with pin point accuracy. The larger dragons can spray venom well over a hundred yards. When Cobras fight its a safe bet to not be anywhere in the vicinity. These dragons are typically around 20 feet tall and around 40 feet long though males can get as large as 26 feet tall and as long as 50 feet though this is exceptionally uncommon. Only dragons who have been alive for millenniums get this large.

Imperial

Imperials are some of the rarest dragons, there are very few left in this day and time. They have been persecuted for centuries and were often captured and kept as pets until they got too large to control and then they were many times killed. These are the dragons knights face in medieval challenges, they grow to be some of the largest if not the largest dragons in existence. Older dragons stand upwards of 65 feet tall and can be 80 plus feet long with a 70 foot wingspan. They breathe fire much like traditional folklore dragons and their cousins the Mountain dragons.

Shadow

Shadow dragons are fierce warriors, they excel at black magic and blood magic and can preform many spells. Their soul bonded gain this affinity for magic. These beasts control the shadows within which they reside and tend to stay within their bounds, only coming out during the darkness of the night to play and fight. Their eyesight is exceptional and their hearing is just as good. Much like owls they are silent fliers and can be nearly impossible to detect until it is too late. These dragons are average in size and are around 45 to 55 feet tall and around 65 to 80 feet long.

Storm

Storm dragons consist of two sub categories, those that control and conduct lightning and those who control and absorb thunder. These dragons often mate in opposite pairs and are some of the larger dragons out of any standing roughly 50 feet tall and having a wingspan as large as 65 to 70 feet across. They range in length from 55 to 65 feet long. They have smooth tightly interconnected scales much like a snake and their scales are not as prominent as some of the other species of dragons. Storm dragons in general are the reason for most sudden thundershowers, using their abilities to provide cover as they hunt. Lightning dragons conduct and readily use lightning and strong jolts of electricity to protect and defend themselves. Thunder dragons, also sometimes referred to as sound dragons are responsible for the big bang, they mimic and produce the deafening booms of true thunder by producing sound waves. They can also mimic numerous other sounds.

Coastal

Coastal dragons are a jolly bunch, choosing to frolic in large groups or herds as opposed to the solidarity of other dragons. These are smaller dragons and roughly 25 feet tall as adults their lengths tend to be around 35 or 40 feet long. These dragons are expert swimmers and can breathe as well underwater. This is a trait they pass on to their soul bonded. They can also control water and wind elements.

Nightmare

Nightmare dragons are some of the least common dragons, they are quite rare and live only in the most remote locations. The males are generally significantly larger than the females are. Males are usually between 35 and 45 feet tall and around 40 to 50 feet long. The females are much smaller standing only around 25 to 30 feet tall and are roughly 35 to 45 feet long. The females also lack the spectacular horns that the females have. These dragons are master illusionist, creating artful illusions that bring their nightmare name to life. They can also produce devastating blue flame orbs that can be unleashed with lethal accuracy.

Crystal

Crystal dragons are just as they sound, one exceedingly large crystal structure. They are made from sharp jagged edges and nearly impossible to kill or injure making them some of the more prominent dragons. These dragons are healers though, excelling at traditional means of healing through herbalism and stone magic. While these dragons excel in traditional medicines they are quick to learn modern medicine and take quickly to it. They also have magic healing abilities but they save these abilities for dire emergencies. They reside in large cave structures and can be as large as mountain dragons depending on the cave system they come from. Smaller caves mean smaller dragons. They can be as small as 10 feet tall or as large as nearly 70 feet tall.

Fjord

Fjords are much like their close cousins the coastal dragons, they stay in small groups of five to ten dragons that are usually related. These dragons are quite common and are adept swimmers though less so than the Coastals. These dragons are however exceptional fliers and can preform aerial stunts that would make a fighter pilot green with envy. Their specialty is recon and flying in even the worst weather conditions.

In-Depth Appearance: Fairly average, to be completely honest. John stands at a good six foot two and has a toned, but softening, musculature. His eyes are predominately green with flecks of gold spattering around the iris. There are a good number of scars surrounding his body as well, mostly little cuts along his hands, arms, and legs but there is a good amount of of his left eyebrow missing from a gash in his youth. John carries himself softly, almost always slouching and making himself appear smaller than he really is. However this apparent meekness is balanced out by his apparent aura of calmness and lopsided smile.

Personality: John isn't a very difficult person to figure out. He enjoys being around people, listening to their stories and sharing experiances. Even more so than that he enjoys being at peace, leaving drama behind and just enjoying the day. At the short end of it, John is just a simple goof who likes people, baking, and a good book; wanting nothing to do with gossip, drama, and sour people.

Hobbies: Reading, sleeping, and baking

Extra: He used to be an amateur boxer before giving up and becoming a simple barista.

Name: Jaxon 'Jax' Alexander Telmire

Gender: Male

Physical Appearance:
In-Depth Appearance: Jax has blonde hair that is usually greased up and swept to one side. His skin isn't pale, but it has a nice tan color to it, making his eyes blue eyes stand out. You can usually find him in his leather jacket, but if it's too hot he'll just wear a tank-top or a T-Shirt. He has muscular arms, but his leather jacket tends to hide them.

Personality: Jax is a nice guy, but he comes off as a bit of a 'bad boy'. His biker gang style, his lack of paying attention in classes, and most of all his way with the ladies. It's not uncommon for him to have his arm around a different girl each week, and isn't really one to commit to a relationship for more than a month or two. Not that he's not committed to anything in general. If sets his mind to something he'll do it, if he wants something bad, he'll find a way to get it. It's these aspects that make him a leader among his peers. Of course he has his flaws. While he is committed to the things he wants to be, it makes him a bit stubborn, and sometimes he doesn't know when to stop.

Hobbies: Drawing - Even though it's unexpected, it's something he really likes to do in his free time, and sometimes he looks forward to the end of classes just to pick up a pencil and letting his imagination flow.

Swimming - He loves the beach, and finds swimming a good way to relax and unwind after a long day.
Extra: Has a small fear of Solitude. Friends is something he needs in his life. He already lost his family, and friends are the only thing he has left.

In-Depth Appearance: Stands in at 5' 11'' with a well toned body.His eyes are a light hazel color in appearance with perhaps a slight mix of green noticeable from time to time.

Personality: Graeden is a man who seems to try and never let the world get the better of him. Even in dire situations he seems to always carry himself in confidence and keep his mind on the positives. Few things ever get the best of him and if he falls he merely will get up again and again for 'there is no such thing a failure' as he says it. This confidence can make him stubborn at times and unwilling to admit when he is wrong but for the most part it has kept him on his desired path. He doesn't mind a good laugh and personally prefers others to be around him to be positive as he and will try to help them if they are down on something. He can be slightly distant among strangers but once he starts talking he is right as rain so to speak and doesn't matter if he knows the person or not or even if that one brief conversation is the only talk they ever share and never sees them again.

In-Depth Appearance:James isn’t particularly handsome standing at only five foot seven inches. His short black hair sits up top a pale face with small hazel eyes and a five o’clock shadow all the time he dresses to impress wearing nice suits.
Personality: James having never been the richest nor strongest had to rely on his brain. He is smart which comes with arrogance. He believes himself to be better than most and has worked for anything he owns. That said he is often shy around other people growing up bullied and alone he often uses his arrogance and brain to benial those around him from ever getting close. He is also too the point and doesn’t care for those who trail off the job they were given.
Hobbies: Reading,Writing,playing games. Anything to keep himself busy.
