Northome
It was August twenty-first of 2092, and Northome was buzzing with activity. In the wake of the death of the Mayor, who had held a considerable amount of power in the underground, it seemed like every two-bit Maskgang and street cell of the Consortium was grabbing for power in the vacuum left behind. There were turf wars aplenty, and not even the corrupt police force could manage the fighting between the gangs. However, even with all of the chaos, four groups rose to distinction.
-The Trezza Family, an Italian-American descendant of the Five Families from New York, who control most of the money that goes through the businesses in Northome.
-The Denisovich Party, a Russian mafia group, transplanted from Moscow, after the New Communist Party began fierce hunts of the criminal elements in Central Russia. They control the hardcore drug trade.
-The Kaentora Kyōkai, a Yakuza association that moved to Northome after getting chased out of Japan by the Yamaguchi-Gumi. They are in charge of the gambling, prostitution, and other illegal entertainment industries.
-The Consortium, a large cell-based association of hackers and anarchists. They recently came to power after eliminating their rivals, the 418 Kings. They control most cybercrime in the city.
