“I think that Red Rain is right about seeing what the boss's deal is,” Lexi added, pursing her lip in thought. It could be literally anything, and she didn't want them to suffer casualties because of recklessness. “I can cover you from bullet fire for a few minutes if you have an idea about drawing out the boss's abilities.” She projected an image of what she meant rather than mentally speaking it, figuring that it would be faster. Really, it wouldn't be hard. A cone of fast-flowing air that countered the momentum of the bullets flying through the air. But, it had the potential to be exhausting because of the fact that each bullet strained at her control over the air with their own turbulence.

The boss apparently grew tired of waiting, though it had only been a minute at most, as he suddenly spoke up and interrupted their mental huddle. “Come on already! Aren't you supposed to be superheroes or something?!” he shouted, firing off a shot towards the wall. Motioning his goons to fan out and begin looking for the heroes, he continued. “I hope you didn't come here to play hide-n-seek!" Before they actually moved, most of the goons glanced a little apprehensively at the flying specter, half expecting it to kill them all considering none of their bullets actually worked on it. It wasn't really moving, however, so most of the goons decided that it was relatively harmless, especially compared to what their boss would be like if they didn't listen to him and get moving. So, they spread out a little to see if they could wrap around the heroes or try and get the jump on them.

“Geist? Can you tell what they're doing?” Lexi asked as she waited for Red Rain's response, the sound of people moving easy to pick up to her. Her ability to feel changes in the air meant that sounds were easier for her to receive, though she wasn't exactly sure that she “heard” them. “If they're moving around, we have to act soon. Especially if they're trying to get away. If you're ready to go, Red Rain, just give me a heads up and I'll cover you.”

Emilie looked about the bank for a moment and spotted a small alcove in the ceiling, something that was probably part of a larger structure before her colleague destroyed the ceiling.
"Boost me up there. Enough of a push to get me up there, I'll be able to get a shot, maybe take a few of the others out before they get too close. I can get a shot in on the big guy whilst I'm up there." She added, stringing her bow and pointing towards the location she desired. If she were quick enough, she'd be able to get more than a couple of shots out before they all shot her way. "Don't worry about speed too much, I'll run just give me a boost."

"I'll distract them while you get into position, Rain," Kris replied. Having kept his illusion in a slow drift towards the robbers during their planning, he spoke once more as Geist.
"I gave you all warning; you had your chance. Now we must begin this grisly dance." As he projected his couplet at them, he applied a fair bit of telekinetic torsion to the barrels of each firearm, rendering their openings too small for the bullets they would fire. As the last sound of his rhyme reached the minds of the robbers, he forced each trigger back, causing the guns to go off, resulting in a mass backfire knocking a good portion of the thugs down for the count. Timing it to cover the sound of his impact with gunfire, he set himself down on the ground to conserve energy for the coming assault while still maintaining the necessary illusions.
Any remaining thugs found themselves facing a shadowy beast, drawn forth directly from their greatest fear. Shrouding shrapnel and rubble within the bounds of his illusions, Geist had the illusory figures claw and pummel the thugs that were still active, keeping them busy to free up his companions to take out the boss.

Seeing the advantage of having someone with a projectile weapon up high enough to shoot at any enemy, Lexi nodded at Rain's request to boost her up to an alcove, squatting down a bit and gathering some air in her hands. When Rain ran towards her, she would have to step up into Lexi's hands, who would react by standing and pushing up on Rain with all her might to give her a high enough boost. The alcove wasn't too terribly high, but it was high enough that getting up there without any kind of power was improbable.

While the two of them prepared to set themselves up for an easier time taking out the boss, Geist was using his telekinesis and telepathy to further demoralize and incapacitate several of the remaining thugs. The sound of many guns exploding, which was distinctly different from the sound of gunfire, and the resultant cry of the thugs reached them, even if they couldn't see what was going on. Whatever he was actually doing, it appeared to be working, and so Lexi wasn't complaining.

“Are you ready, Rain?” Lexi asked, risking a peek around the column to see several of the thugs laying down and clutching wounded hands, if they weren't unconscious entirely. She made a mental note to ask her teammate what he had done to cause that much damage, though she had an idea that it had something to do with blocking the barrels of the firearms. “I'm ready when you are. So just start running to me.”

A deep and unsteady breath. Regardless, if they were all going to die, she'd be the last one standing, dying just as much but hurting a hell of a lot less.
"Let's do this." Emilie tucked her bow over her shoulder and pulled two bandage strips from her pocket. The sounds from beyond the wind wall weren't pleasant. However, there was the low possibility that the police would interfere now. She tightened the strips and inhaled deeply. "I was never very good on bar." A small inwards joke and she pushed forwards, pushing hard off the ground with both feet. By the time she reached Lexi, she wasn't exactly full sprint but regardless, the power was there. She lifted her foot and stuck in into her teammate's hands.

It felt like old times, using a friend to reach somewhere you normally couldn't. She would reach the top and pull her old teammate up after her, a decent spot to watch the world from. This time, she pushed off her new teammate's hands and lifted both hands to grab the thick, possibly brass, ledge of the alcove.
