Yeah, and he's done, and it's over. So we can just drop this.Until MonstaHunta comes in to say that it's not the same because the moe-mon weren't drawn with the intention of looking like little girls. Then I'll point out moe is a pun on both cute and "budding" meaning just coming into puberty. He'll try to deflect and say who cares because it's just like CoD and why am I so against a little skin when their are murder sims.I'll point out that he has no IDEA what I play, or what I'm against, and again CoD isn't illegal in a majority of the major countries, while drawn pictures of sexualized children are.Idk really where the argument will go from there, I'll probably get bored and stop posting, except not really because it's hard as fuck to not try and always get the last word.

There's always more, and it's always worse.Moe-mon, a compelling argument against art.

You guys are all fucking retarded.
Nargle said Do you honestly think those look like children, Turt? With their body proportions they look more like zwinkies.

Before you guys go back at it again, is this really worth it? Nobody has anything to gain by taking the piss out of each other or calling somebody a pedophile, especially since we legit had that happen before with a former member. Turt, you were doing really well up until now. Nat, I have no idea why you picked this thread to get serious and worked up, but it's not winning you friends.
Anybody making personal attacks against Overwatch over this should probably find another hobby. There's nothing sexually deviant about this, it's just some silly art style where characters are meant to look tiny and cute (I think chibis are friggin creepy, and not because I think they're sexual.) and that cam often lead to adult characters looking like kids or whatever even if it isn't intentional. This is one of those cases of cry wolf where people are looking for a reason to be a total jackass and throw accusations around that can be pretty fucking serious just because of whatever reason, usually because they don't like something. Sometimes a crappy art style is just that, nothing more. We all like shit that other people hate, let's leave the criminal accusations out of it, yeah? Overwatch has seriously done nothing to deserve that.
Urban said A Japanese slang term (ironically, first employed by otaku) used to refer to the fetish for or sexual attraction to idealized people, usually a fictional perfect young girl.
wikipedia said It is a pun derived from a Japanese word that literally means "budding," as with a plant that is about to flower, and thus it can also be used to mean "budding" as with a preadolescent girl. Since this word is also a homonym for "burning" pronounced moe (燃え?), there is also speculation that the word stems from the burning passion felt for the characters.

A.) This isn't chibi. These aren't chibi-mon chibi and moe are two different art styles. (Brb going to fucking kill myself because I know the difference between the two. )B.) Who attacked Overwatch?

I don't see how this is such a big deal. Really, I just can't wrap my mind around it. Call of Duty/Other games where the objective is murder = Totally FineReplace Pokemon sprites with chibi female characters = OMAIGAWD U SICK PEDO!!!
Awson said
It's basically just semantics for the rest of us. Those sprites could easily be called Chibi-Mon. Would you have a problem then? And I just took a glance at some info about Moe. What I gathered is that there's anything but a concrete definition for it. The root word can mean "budding," and then it's debatable after that. What I personally always thought moe was was just a certain way to draw the stupid face of female anime characters.

Idk shit about this Japanese stuff. I just didn't get the feeling Overwatch wanted to play for that reason.
