Hello everyone,
In three days, July 1st, I will be launching a new RP universe. I'm looking for my first wave of writers to join at or around launch. This RP universe is on a separate site because it is too expansive.
The setting takes place on a distant planet far into the future. The RP begins many years after humans have inhabited the planet. Aside from one completely unique indigenous race, all the other native life on this planet resemble fairy tale creatures such as elves, dragons, wizards, and fairies. Combining these natives with the technologically advanced humans creates a world where you can go on sci-fi like adventures AND fantasy style adventures.
So, to participate in this RP, all you have to do is join the site, create a character, and start creating stories. Just like on this site, you gather up a party and create your own RP. The difference with "Fifth Earth" is that when you are done with your RP, the events of your RP can go on to affect the plot movement of the entire site. To standardize this, all stories must start at or after the first of the month IRL and end before that month's end. Each IRL month equals a quarter of a year in the RP world. You can let your stories end at the end of the month OR do a time skip and start a sequel.
I've already introduced some conflicts that can be used as writing prompts for your RPs, but the collective imagination of everyone involved will drive the plot forward. I am simply creating a madhouse for writers and seeing where it will go from there. Also, I am leaving it up to volunteers to create the backstories to each area. There are 20 total areas and only 3 have backstories so far. So if you feel like writing a story that will forever be a part of this site's lore, feel free!
