1 note? You mean the thoroughly responsible one? The man that has lead the team through Apocalypse, Vulcan, and Dark Pheonix Saga, the same saga where he was the key factor to it ending. The man that was actually RIGHT about the things going on during and after AvX. To the point that 50% of the X-men are behind him. Since his return from being apocalypse possessed, he's been far less brooding about Jean and Maddie and more of a hard-ass.

When your argument is all he does is whine, I know you don't know nothing on the character. It may be a running joke but its the same as Aquaman jokes about him being useless when in reality he can punch Supes clear across the world.

There is a difference between Aquaman and Cyclops... Aquaman has been shown to be able to kill the ENTIRE justice league if necessary. Cyclops and his entire team of X-Men couldn't even take out The Punisher. Cyclops IS the Super-Friends Aquaman of Marvel. I mean... Look at X-Men vs Avengers. They gave him Mjolnir, Caps shield, and the Phoenix Force. and all i am hearing is.

@Matt: I'm not taking sides on this debate one way or another because I simply don't care, but you can't use something like X-Men vs Punisher to ever prove a point. That particular circumstance is called situational writing. The writer(s) had Punisher win for no better reason than it's entertaining. Realistically, Castle would have died, or at least been subdued. It's no different than all the people who say Batman would defeat Supes in a fight; realistically Clark could easily fly up to the outer atmosphere and vape Bats with his heat vision. Just because you use an example from situational writing does not mean said example is an accurate portrayal of how events might occur.

1. All of them losing to Punisher is called Plot Induced Stupidity and Character induced Stupidity when Cyclops has shown to knock over the Hulk, put Wolverine down for up to an hour, and literally puncture through mountains besides being highly advanced in Martial arts. This is the same man that took several highly trained assilants with machine guns in a matter of seconds.

2. He once blasted Magneto and knocked him out. Not many can claim such a feat. Cyclops once took out 6 X-men on his own and we aren't talking the rubbish ones. He has literally dodged lightning from storm and blasted her out of the sky, taking her out instantly. Do you know how fast lightning is? He has peeled the skin off World War Hulk, something even Wolverine had a problem doing and this using a wider beam which is weaker then his focused ones. He has damaged Onslaught before. Briefly hurt Dormmamu before his powers were brought down a bit. He can mentally contain the void and even while sleeping Emma can barely get past his mental defenses and she's one of the greatest telepaths ever. That's not even mentioning how intelligent he is when it comes to tactics and planning plus his aggressive acrobatics that are on par with Captain America.

3. Hawkeye, Bucky, and even Wolverine can use Cap's shield. 25% of marvel has used Mjolnir. Cause we forget that Cyclops wasn't the only one with the Pheonix Force and how often that's thrown around.

4. You can "hear" whatever you want but when you start trying to throw facts about Cyclops, you better know what you are talking about.

5. Aquaman can't kill the entire Justice League. Hyperbole at best. <---- This statement and thinking the X-men not being able to stop Punisher is legit makes me weep.
