[Knight of Doom]

This RPG is a slice of life about young adults living in the same apartment complex. It will be filled with lots of drama and romance. Taking place in a modern day American city named Hartford, Eden Gardens is an affordable but charming apartment. It’s popular with college students because it does not require a down payment and is located near Skyline University. However, if one pays their rent even a day late, they will be kicked out immediately. One thing about this living area is that the owner of the Eden Gardens has remained a secret. Several rumors circulate around the premises about the identity of said owner, but nothing has been confirmed. Some have even claimed that the owner lives in the apartment.

Hello, and welcome to this roleplay! I will be GMing this RP and @BlueAjah will be Co-GMing. We’re planning on having this be a low advanced/high casual level RP, so around two paragraph with good spelling and grammar. We also expect quality interactions, which means that not everyone will be in one place unless specified and most characters will interact frequently with others. In order to make this experience fun for everyone we would like for people to submit their character sheets via PM. That way we can have a more personal discussion about how a character can reach their full potential and what role they will play in the RP as a whole. Along with this CS we would like a sample writing of your character getting caught in the rain.

Rules:

Have fun! - There’s no point in roleplaying if everyone isn’t having a good time :) Try not to be too serious and just enjoy the drama that’s about to unfold
No Fighting - Please don’t fight; it’s as simple as that. Try to keep all drama within IC or take it to the PMS if necessary.
Keep it PG 13 - Do I even need to explain this? Once clothes start coming off, fade to black or take it to the PMS.
No Godmodding - This is obvious, please don’t do it. If you don’t want someone doing it to you, you shouldn’t do it to someone else. It’s fine if someone have given explicit permission to control their character, otherwise, just don’t it.

Town Guide

Skyline University

Skyline University is a community college that is rising in popularity due to it’s cheap tuition and local ties. It’s mascot is Pete the Puffin, due to college student having way too much power in the naming process. Their rival school is Evergreen Academy, a very expensive and high class college. Their mascot is Stephen the Snake.

Oakview Mall

Oakview Mall is your typical mall, containing several stores and various fast food places. This is the closest mall to the Eden Gardens.

The Queen’s Lane

Known as one of the fancier places to eat, the Queen’s Lane is an Italian restaurant. They are well known for having superior food and an esteemed chef from Italy.

Vibe

Vibe is a new bar in town. It’s very modern, but serves both cheap and expensive liquor for everyone’s tastes. However, they are very meticulous about not serving minors.

LoVee

This is your typical grocery chain. They offer a wide variety of food and even offer a delivery service program that delivers food to your door. However, this does cost more money.

Shape up

Shape up is a gym that requires a membership fee. However, it does offer classes and personal trainers for those who wish to utilize them.

Library

This is the Skyline University’s very own library. They have a wide variety in available books, ranging from world war II to books on heart disease, pretty much anything one might need to work on a research project in any subject. It’s run by an crude, old woman who accepts nothing but silence.

In-Depth Appearance

Alex has very striking light blue eyes, they're usually the first thing people notice. That and his white/silvery hair. He likes having his hair long, but it bobby pins it out of the way when it gets in the way. His skin is fairly pale since he was always inside when he was young. His parents never liked being outdoors more than they had to. He is taller than most at 6'2", and sometimes he teases those who are shorter than him if he gets a good reaction out of them. He's fairly physically active because his sister drags him to the gym every once in a while. However, he does prefer to binge watch Netflix and play music, so no six packs. Sorry ladies. If it makes you feel any better he does have fairly big feet. Alex wears a large variety of clothing, but he has a good sense of fashion from being out in the public quite a bit. He on a casual day, he'll wear fairly classy clothing.

Personality

Alex is quite a people person, unlike his sister. He is fairly comfortable interacting with all types of people and is persistent in making friends. He's a nice guy who really just wants to get to know people better. However, if you say anything bad about his sister, he become very passive aggressive. It's a very slow transition. Usually, he'll give a warning to the person who did it, but if they continue he gets more and more savage. Many people perceive him as a player type person, but he teases everyone equally and it doesn't necessarily mean he has a crush on someone. He's also unintentionally good at attracting females, but he can be really dense when it comes to actual romance.

Background

Alex and his sister, Abby, are the twin children of two very prominent politicians. As young children, they'd move a lot and were in the public eye. So, they only really had each other since all their other friends left. Some parents even warned their kids to stay away from the twins because of their parent's political views. Alex is 17 minutes older than his sister and enjoys teasing her about it. He was always the one who dealt with people verbally. Abby was the one who dealt with people physically if it came to it. Once the two got to college, their parents decided to send them to Evergreen Academy. However, one day Abby got a hold of information and documents that their parents tried to hide. Their parents had just hosted a fundraiser for a charity. However, Abby found out that a large majority of the proceeds actually went into the Clarke's own pocket. After a large debate, the twins came to a conclusion that they needed to release this information. Since the charity was very well known, the scandal was devastating to the Clarkes. Alex and Abby were basically disowned by their parents because they were so furious. Since Evergreen received a lot of support financially from the Clarkes, they twins were kicked out. They ended up going to the cheaper college, Skyline University, and living in the best apartment they could afford. Now they both have to work hard for money, something they've never really done before. They are well known around town and in the university because of the scandal, but the two don't regret their decision.

Sophie is a rather short and thin individual, standing at a short 5'3", and has small curves. She has dark brown, almost black, hair and striking blue eyes and soft, pale, porcaline skin to match it, making her a rather lovely young woman. When not at work, she usually wears rather casual clothes that usually consists of a T-shirt or hoodie 3 sizes too big for her or a camisole and shorts or sweat pants, along with a pair of flats or sandals. She will rarely allow herself to be seen in something like a dress as she would rather not be the center of attention.

Sophie's greatest fear out anything would be the dark and loud noises. Yeah, yeah, say what you will, but aside from swearing that she has seen shadow people at night, her fear of the dark comes from a more deeper reason that she herself has yet to realize, which is that in the emptiness of darkness, she subconsciously realizes just how alone she really is in the world. Her fear of loud noises was something that she has had since birth, and is of a more physical health issue than an emotional issue, which is basically just sensative hearing.

Personality

Sophie is a sweet, warm, and gentle young woman with just the right amount of bite to her if you get her angry enough. She is a loyal, caring friend and a warm, gentle, innocent lover. She is unfortunately dense when it comes to matters such as romance and she'll need a little "push" for to understand. That is, if you actually manage to befriend her and hold a steady friendship with her. On the flip side of her personality, she is an introvert and is unconfident in herself, and a big one at that. She absolutely hates being the center of attention and being in the spotlight. And if you compliment her, she won't believe you.

Background

Sophie's childhood was that of most children, it was a good one with it's inevitable flaws, but still a good one nonetheless. She was loved by her parents and had a couple close friends but was never really able to connect with those outside her family, which never really bothered her to an extent. She had soon figured out, due to her introverted behavior, that she had a knack for draw and all things arts and crafts. This was a talent she persued in the little village in the middle of nowhere, that she called home.

Once she had become an adult and few years after graduating and saving every cent she could, Sophie moved out of her parent's home and to the nearest, cheapest college so she could earn her academic credentials to graduate college before going on to the major she really wanted to pursue, the arts. She has recently moved into her new apartment at Eden Gardens about a couple weeks ago, where she will be staying while studying at Skyline University.

One thing that'll be discussed in the PMs with each individual is their character's relationship status and rooming situation. We'd like for some people to be in a relationship already, so Blue and I will be pairing a couple characters together if you choose to accept. The same will be done with roommates. However, these are optional. Just to give you something else to think about when making your character.
