Name:Tarkus Sloan
Race:Human
Gender:Male
Age:17
Weapons/Equipment/Armor:”Cadeyrn”, the Carrousel-Mortar HammerCadeyrn is the finest piece Tarkus has ever forged, and is naturally his weapon of choice. The thing weighs an unwieldy 134 lbs., and that's without ammunition in the chambers, in order to use the thing with any degree of skill, Tarkus had to push himself to his physical limits to evolve his technique beyond wild swinging. No one but Tarkus really knows WHY the thing was so heavy, though, and talking to him probably won't yield any real answers. Cadeyrn is capable of firing H.E.F.T. rounds, which when they make contact send fragments on the casing and tungsten filament wires at bullet speeds, though he makes sure to remove the rounds when fighting human/faunus opponents. He only uses these at a distance though, as otherwise it'd probably rip him to shreds too.
For point-blank shots, he loads the chambers with APCR, again he completely removes the ammunition when fighting humans and faunus. These rounds are capable of easily tearing through flesh, though when faced with incredibly thick armor they're nearly useless, and they can ricochet if used at a distance.
"Panzerfaust”, The Deal with the DevilPanzerfaust is the 7th chamber in the head of Cadeyrn, only accessible when Tarkus uses filtered dust cartridges in place of the normal rounds in the chambers. When at least 2 of the 6 chambers contain dust rounds, he can trigger Panzerfaust by pulling on a chord located near the back of Cadeyrn’s head. The dust rounds empty into the 7th chamber, and combine into a single filtered shot, with varying effects based on the dust rounds used. (ie. Red dust and Blue dust would produce a massive volume of scalding hot steam.) While most of the combinations do not result in a bullet-like projectile, the size of the chamber itself is roughly 90mm.
”Zoll”, The Arm of the PredecessorA single, armored gauntlet that Tarkus wears on his right arm. Though Zoll lacks any significant combat abilities, save for its armor, the gauntlet contains a wench cable that is capable of supporting extremely heavy loads, and It can be shot to give Tarkus increased mobility. The gauntlet is also extremely heat resistant and non-conductive, making it excellent for sticking his hand into electrical boxes. It belonged to his uncle, back when he was a student at Beacon, and he gave it to him as a gift when he finished training at Signal.
Semblance:”Echoes”: Tarkus can use his aura to release audible and inaudible sounds from anywhere he can see or touch. He can use this to say, release a timed sound to release from a pebble, throw it, and after a few seconds it would begin continuously producing the noise. The Inaudible sounds can only be heard by Tarkus, or someone with a device or ability to pick up the waves. When the waves carry back to him, they produce an image in his mind of anything the sound had come into contact with, meaning he can create mental maps with extreme accuracy. His Aura is a light olive color
Bio: Tarkus was born into a small family in the Mistral region, and lived a relatively normal life up until he was 12 years old. His father had died during a protest for Fauna rights which was besieged by the White Fang, and his mother was left to care for him and his younger brother alone, with the help of his older sister, a doctor like her father. From that day on, he desired to become a hunter, and become strong enough to protect the things he cared about, like his father always said a man should. At first unaccepting, his mother eventually gave in and let him pursue his dream, under the condition that he go to Vale and live with his uncle in order to train at Signal, then go to Beacon. He moved into his uncle’s home/repair shop and learned how to build his own weapon from scrap, and how to construct and build machines from scrap. Devoting himself to his training, Tarkus managed to get relatively high grades at Signal, and has made the cut to attend Beacon. When he graduated from Signal, he was given a gauntlet fashioned of high-grade steel, one which his uncle had used in his time.
Hobbies: Yard-keeping, training, researching, and fixing up random things he finds that are broken. He sometimes fashions music boxes when he is extremely bored.
Personality: Tarkus is a rather calm individual, often not fazed by things people are normally afraid of. He has an incredibly high tolerance to pain, as he has been afflicted with Congenital Analgesia from birth, though that has given him the habit of checking himself for obvious injuries whenever he does physical activities, though his Echoes makes that quick.

“DAMMIT TARKUS, PUT DOWN THE DAMN HAMMER FOR A SECOND!” Uncle Leo’s voice boomed even from across the shop, Tarkus had been somewhat lost in tuning up Cadeyrn, and nearly jumped off his seat when he heard him yell, Cadeyrn fell out of his grasp and landed just an inch away from his foot, he stood at attention, staring at Leo before replying with:
“Y-Yeah boss? Sorry…I just wanted to make sure she’s ready for tomorrow and-“ He was cut off when Leo suddenly pulled out a rather dusty looking box from underneath the floorboards, the plank slide away as if it were specially made, Tarkus pondered how he’d never noticed it before, but it wasn’t like he’d spent his days staring at every floorboard in the building.
Leo pulled something out of the box, and clutched it tightly in his arms, his back to Tarkus. He slowly rose and simply told Tarkus to “close his eyes for a second”. Complying, Tarkus shut his eyes, and held his arms at his side. Suddenly, he felt Leo reach out and grab his right arm, and slip..something onto it, something that covered it all the way up to the shoulderblade. When Leo told him to open his eyes, he found a large, yet lightweight gauntlet now fitted onto his arm, he motioned with each of his fingers to ensure that it didn’t impede motion, and was surprised by just how little it limited him, if at all.
“This here’s Zoll, she was my pride and joy back when I was young….Figure she ain’t doing no good collecting dust in a box here, so I figured you earned the right to take her with you…Just…Treat her gentle, alright?” Leo said with a smile on his face as he adjusted the straps and fitting of the gauntlet so it’d fit Tarkus’ arm perfectly, didn’t take more than a minute. Tarkus stood there staring at the palm of Zoll for a while before finally giving a massive smile and saying:
“Thanks…Not just for this but…but for everything. Old man, I promise I’ll make you proud!”
Leo placed a hand on his shoulder and just said:
“I know you will…Give those Grimm hell for me. Oh, and if you see an Ursa, don’t kick it to see if it’s still alive. Now, get back to work on Cadeyrn…You gotta get your stuff ready to go by tomorrow.”
And so Tarkus went back to fiddling with Cadeyrn for the rest of the day, packing what few clothes he figured he’d need and quite a few pairs of underwear as well as a few parts for a music box into his backpack, ready to depart the next morning. For some Odd reason, he found a small plate of FUCKING COOKIES on the counter, and deciding that free cookies were present, he bolted out of the repair shop, half a cookie in hand as he wolfed down it's siamese twin.
