Tolbana Inn
Alek, having fully emerged from his sullen silence, laughed haughtily at Campanella's perspective on his ale. Aside from being unconditioned to the strange taste, it seemed the youth knew little about the golden rule of consumption: size matters. As anyone could easily tell, Alek had a hundred pounds or so on the smaller-framed man. Having finished his last glass of virtual intoxicant Alek rose to pay the inn-keep his absurdly low bill. Anywhere but in virtuality the liquor would've costed a rather shiny penny. Here however, the cost of the good spirits left Alek in good spirits. Meeting Campanella at the inn keeper's desk, Alek clasped his shoulder encouragingly. "Fear not. We will make great drinker of you yet," Alek said, smiling. After paying his tab, he took a seat across from Starkette.
She and Campanella had already begun deciding on the best course of action from here whilst Alek had been powering down his mild relaxant. Alek decided to throw in his own thoughts. If their goal was to work towards the floor boss, as Starkette seemed to imply, they would need somewhere to train. With no players in Tolbana Town, however, there would be no one but the local NPCs to ask about the best training areas. As frightening as it was to Alek to think of running into the merchant from last night, he knew it would probably be the best course of action to head back. Aside from this, Alek was still curious about what he had heard. He figured any additional knowledge on the subject would be useful, both to protect his companions and to learn of the murderous guild's true intentions. Perhaps the merchant had just been conveying faulty rumors. Rather than concern the other with his own worries, he simply said, "Perhaps we should explore the town more. The merchants might have useful information for training. We will need it, if Halcyon is to defeat the floor boss first, that is." It was an interesting name, he thought.
