Jyden was sitting on a tree branch in the creepy forest and instead of being scared, he seemed rather calm. He's seen what his dark side is capable of so this was nothing to him. Destroy the trees. Okay, I seriously don't know what's with you and trees, but I'm not doing that. (XD)

Arin found himself in a forest which looked rather creepy, but he wasn't that scared. He walked over to a tree, adjacent to Jyden's and leaned on it.

Juno was standing somewhere in the creepy forest and looked around to see if his vampire friend was anywhere nearby. He found him by another tree farther away from where the other two(Jyden and Arin) were and walked over to him. Hey, Price. How are things?

Price noticed a familiar neko come up to him and waved. "I'm fine, Juno."

In his hideout, Hunter was looking at latest creations. He could only hope that they(the shadows) would be better than his last set of shadow minions.

Tatsuya, Sakura, and Miyako were walking through the creepy forest, and while Tatsuya was completely calm, his sister's weren't quite so much. Sakura looked way too excited to be here, and Miyako looked nervous, looking around them warily. "Onii-chan, this place is creepy..." Tatsuya looked at her over his shoulder. "Don't worry Mi-chan. We'll be fine. Anything that manages to sneak past me, you two can hold off with your abilities."

I woke up on something hard and rough... did I fall off my bed while I was sleeping...? I haven't done that since I was just a kid... I could hear something... waves...? Yeah... gentle lapping waves, like you'd hear at a lake... but... I didn't have my TV on. I slowly sat up and rubbed the bleariness from my eyes and gazed around me. "W-What...?" This... most definitely was not my bedroom. I appeared to be lying on a small hill.

The last thing I remembered was getting home very late from my part time job... I was exhausted, I didn't even take my shoes off. I just made sure that everything was locked, tossed my phone somewhere, and passed out on my bed. I was still wearing the clothes that I had been wearing last night. I checked my pockets and the only thing in them was my wallet, just a simple brown leather wallet. Nothing appeared to be missing, my cash and cards were still inside. So whoever did this... just dropped me off in the middle of nowhere, and didn't steal from me... Strange. At least I wasn't tied up in someone's basement. Not surprisingly my phone wasn't with my possessions, however I still had my pocket knife, so that's a plus. If someone tries to attack me here, I'll be able to at least try and fight them off.

I got up off of the hill and brushed the grass off of my clothing and looked around. I noticed a lake shore not too far from me. The lake looked black, it was actually pretty dark out, the moon was completely covered by clouds, so not a lot of natural light to help me see. I decided that maybe if there was a lake, there were some tourist attractions nearby, somewhere for people to park, buy some concessions, or maybe rent a boat to take out onto the lake. Maybe there'd be a working phone there. I'd just have to follow the shore and I'd end up there, then I could make my way home. No big deal... hopefully my apartment is still in one piece.

I walked to the sandy shore and cast my gaze out towards the water. I used to love coming to the lake when I was younger. We'd always rent a boat and take it out on the water. I'd sometimes pilot the boat, it was pretty fun. Though... something seemed... off. The lake, it smelled terrible. Like something was rotting... was... this lake really polluted or something...? Or is there something rotting around here...? I could distinctly smell the scent of rust as well. I'd just have to deal with it... if it was no longer a tourist attraction, I could always just follow the road to the nearest town if there wasn't one settled near the shore.

I walked for a while, but the smell just wouldn't go away... the sand was pretty sticky too, now that I was really thinking about it. It was sticking and clumping to the bottom of my shoes. What the hell is up with this lake...? The water seemed... sluggish. Like it was far thicker than it should be, and the color, it was far too dark and opaque... it seemed like it was staining the sand. The moon... it was starting to come out from behind the cover of clouds.

That's... when I saw it. The real color of the lake... red. Crimson red. My breath caught in my throat and I backed away from the lake. "W-What...? N-No... T-This is... this is impossible..." I could feel the bile rising from my stomach and into my throat. The water... it was... it was blood. Not blood in the water itself... but... the whole lake was filled with blood. I was hoping that it wasn't human. That... one small detail... no matter how impossible and twisted of a situation this was... if it was animal blood... then it would have brought some cold comfort to me.

However, I wasn't that lucky. A pale body floated to the surface of the lake. Just it's chest at first... but then its head surfaced. An eyeless gaze seemed to bore into the very depths of my soul. It's skin was sunken, its mouth was open, blood dribbling out of it... and... its eyes had been clearly gouged out. The tears around its eyes spoke to that one cruel and twisted fact. Someone had killed this person, gouged out their eyes, and threw them into this lake of human blood, undoubtedly filled with more dead bodies.

I wish that I could say that I had run away at that point. But... I just stared. Stared into that eyeless gaze. At what may very well be my future. I was overcome with nausea, I fell to my knees and began vomiting. I could no longer stand the sight, my body and brain began to function once more, and I threw up the contents of my stomach. Even after I could no longer vomit... I heaved, my body seeming to want to rid itself of my stomach altogether. I eventually managed to gain control and stand up, taking one more look at the body... I let out a bloodcurdling scream and ran away from the horrific sight.

I kept running and running, my mind going into overdrive of the possible ways they were going to kill me. I didn't know who "they" were exactly... but "they" had filled the lake with blood, "they" had thrown many corpses into the lake, "they" were going to kill me and I was going to join the rest of the corpses resting at the bottom. I just needed to keep running, running as fast and as far as I could... even if my lungs burst, even if my legs break... I needed to get as far away as possible.

Ayaka was honestly not quite sure where she found herself. Obviously, not all that worried about that fact, she began walking. Maybe she'll end up finding someone else or better yet where she even was. Ayaka thought she smelled a horrid odor, however. Almost as if it were blood. A scream coming from somewhere startled Ayaka and made her ears twitch back. It was nice to know there was someone besides her here; only it sounded like that someone was either scared, in danger, or both.

The problem was she had a hard time making out how far away or close by it came from. She was only able to figure out the general direction and started walking that way. The smell was annoying, though, and she wished she could find a place away from it.

Lex jumped up as she heard a scream in the distance. She rubbed her eyes and looked around to see if she could recognize the place she was in. Nothing about it seemed familiar and she had no idea how she ended up where she had. The screaming continued and a breeze brought the smell of rust to her noise, which she automatically knew was blood with the amounts of times she'd been around it in fights. She made the choice to follow the smell over the noise. The last thing she wanted was to follow somebody that might have a psychopath on his heels, but she was too curious to not see where that stench was coming from.

After a couple minutes of walking she stumbled upon the lake of blood. She held her nose and tried to breathe through her mouth, but that was worse. She began to taste the smell. She gagged as she walked close to the lake. She noticed a body just floating on top and started to rethink her idea of not going after the person. "Who in the world has this much time on their hands?" she said aloud to herself. Her real thought was how many people did it actually take to get this much blood. She was at the edge now leaning over to see if she could find any more bodies when she lost her balance and toppled over splashing into the blood. She let out a small yelp as she tried to maneuver her way to back to the land. She could taste blood in her mouth and it nearly made her puke. When she finally pulled herself out she allowed herself to throw up everything she had in her stomach, including the blood she had swallowed by accident.

With her whole body drenched and smelly she walked away from the lake and attempted to hunt down whoever had obviously seen this before her. She ran through the forest following the foot steps left behind by the stranger.

Parell awoke to a scream. This annoyed him since he still felt quite groggy and needed more rest. "Oh well, may as well get moving now. Spirits aren't going to free themselves," he thought, dusting himself off from under the tree. "This tree served as good cover for the night. I'll remember it." He stood up and stretched his arms and legs, yawning.

"I guess I should get dressed, too," he thought, unravelling his sack and taking his armour out. He felt a feeling of satisfaction as each piece clicked into place. It was silvery-covered but have a gold sheen that made it seem like it was glowing; truly a great gift. Yet it wasn't a gift. He took it from the body of a raised paladin he had freed. It carried a lot of memories and helped him to focus holy energy, despite it not being his affinity.

Parell began moving, heading in a seemingly random direction. He was a wanderer, with a strong sense of justice that got him into trouble. He easily got out alone of most situations unscathed, bar one - the entire village that hosted the necromancer was destroyed. This hurt him dearly; whilst they hadn't exactly been the most hospitable, they had helped him in the end, and paid the ultimate price - un-life. They had been raised from the dead. And he couldn't even exorcise them for some reason; they were pulled down into the depths of hell. The experience left mental scars, and thus he never got involved with large parties of people any more - for their sake.

As all these thoughts ran through his head, his eye caught a man wildly running towards him. Taking a look at him, it didn't seem like he was from around here, as his clothing was odd. He seemed around the same age as him, albeit more scrawny. He would wave at him. "Hello!" He didn't realise he was still heading towards him.

I could hear it... someone was following me. They were kind of far. I had attracted their attention. Surely it was one someone that had dragged me here. They intended to kill me. They intended to play around with me before they killed me. Ah... but they won't kill me that easily. I'll make sure to take a bunch of them with me. Yeah... I'll kill them, all of them... they won't hesitate to kill me, after all. It's for the sake of self defense...!

I reached into my pocket and pulled out the pocket knife, flicking the blade out... when I came across one of them... I'd slice them to ribbons...! Even if I'm not that strong... I just have to hit one of the main arteries and that'd be the end for them.

I saw a man in silver armor standing in my way. He was one of them. He was probably delusional... wearing armor...? Really? It's probably not real. Maybe just cardboard or sheet metal... I should be able to slice through it... or get at his throat. Just kill anything that gets in my way, that's all I have to do, and I can survive this nightmare. The bastard... mocking me, smiling at me, waving, pretending not to be a threat. I won't fall for it, I won't...!

I charged straight for him, and as soon as I got into range, I swung the pocket knife at him wildly. It didn't matter if I didn't kill him in the first hit. I just needed to keep lashing out at him. If I cut him, if I see blood, then I'm doing my job properly. I refuse to die. I refuse I refuse I refuse I refuse IREFSUEIREFUSEIREFUSE! DIEDIEDIEDIEDIE! JUST DIE!

"What brings you he-" Parell cut himself off as the man's demeanour. "So it'll be that way, I guess." He raised both his arms to cover his face to prevent the knife cutting it. "Are you a madman?" He surely was acting like a lunatic; trying to kill someone with a mere knife in this place. "Well, I know for one you are an idiot."

What if he was possessed? That could be a problem. He wouldn't be sure which spirit to exorcise if they had a similar personality but different methods of reaching goals. He could end up exorcising the wrong soul, and leave the man with the wrong soul; that would be detrimental, and could cause more problems - he would essentially kill him. His hands began to glow brightly as he began the exorcism, hoping to free the man of his ailment.

He then realised that there was only one soul. "Oops. Forgive me." He began, but then realised he was still swinging the knife almost blindly. "So... what brings someone like you here?" He said, as reached out to disarm the man by holding his hand with the knife with one hand and pulling the knife out of his grasp. Since he was fully clothed in some form of metal armour, anything with his fists could not do damage to him; the inverse could happen, though.

In the forest
Arin looked around to see if anyone besides himself ended up here. No sign of his girlfriend yet and wasn't gonna find her by just standing around. He began walking in search for her and who knows, maybe he'll meet someone along the way.

Price and Juno chatted with each other as they began walking through the forest.

"Let me go dammit!" This guy... was pretty strong. Stronger than I was, which... honestly wasn't that much of a surprise. I wasn't ever good with anything to do with physical exertion... Hell, 40 or 50 pounds was more than often more than I could lift on my own. "Don't act so innocent. You're going to kill me just like the rest of those people in the lake!" I flung my weight from side to side, trying to make the man let go of me. I was like a trapped animal... willing to do anything that I could to escape. Even if it meant tearing my own arm off in the process, I was going to try and escape.

"S-Sicko! I bet your the one that does the eye gouging, aren't you!?" My mind was racing with the images of what this man was probably going to do to me, how he'd probably make me suffer. How I would be joining the rest of those at the bottom of the lake... their hands grabbing me and dragging me down with them...! I need to get away, I need to get away...!

"Bloody lake?" He looked down to see the man's footwear covered in the scum from Lago de Sangre Humana. He eased up a bit and flung the knife away before restraining both of his arms by the elbows in a strong grip. "I guess you aren't from around here, coupled with your odd clothing and mannerisms. He sighed. The person was either an amnesiac or someone from another place... even world.

He spoke softly and kindly, "That place is known as Lago de Sangre Humana. It's a lake, as you said, filled with human blood and bodies. Not a nice place for a newcomer like you. It's become a sort of natural phenomena - and the more that die, the bigger it gets. I don't really know how it started, but I assumed it was made by some dark force with a skill in blood magic. Not me."

He took a deep breath. This could be a long day. "I am Parell Nouin, exorcist against trapped spirits. I free them like so." His hands glowed brightly around the man's elbows, transferring a feeling of warmth. "I work against dark forces. Who might you be, traveller? I know it can be rude to ask, but I can assure you I am a trustworthy person."

Lex lost site of the foot prints and decided to go the way she assumed anyone would go had they just seen what she did. She made a couple turns through the tree and after a couple minutes she could hear voices. The deeper she got the darker everything seemed to feel. The whole aura of the place sent chills through her spine. She tried to figure out which direction the voices were coming before pausing. "What if I run into whoever started that lake," she asked herself aloud, "what if they think I'm so crazy murder?" She glanced down at her attire, it would take forever to get the smell of blood off her and she would need to throw these clothes out. She quickly got lost in her thoughts when she noticed the two voices were extremely closer. There was nowhere for her to hide except up a tree, but she wasn't a skilled climber. All she could was stand there covered in other peoples blood and hope they didn't think the worst.

This was the most pathetic excuse of a trick that I had ever heard, or this guy was just plain insane... "Magic...? Do you think that I'm that stupid, or maybe you're just that crazy!? Magic doesn't exist." That weird glow around his hands... lights, maybe... and that warm feeling... stimulating my nerves, or perhaps some sort of medication on his gloves that can be absorbed through the skin. I kept swinging my weight around, pulling away, trying anything that I could to get out of his grip. That's when I saw a girl covered in blood.

"Oh, and look, there's your partner no doubt. So, is this how it's going to go? You hold me down while she guts me?" I tried everything that I could, kicking the man, stomping on his foot, to no avail, the worst that I was doing was getting a little bit of bloody sand smeared on his armor. I tried to slam into him, seeing if I could dislodge him that way... why did I stop to attack him...? Why didn't I just change direction...!? Stupid. Moron. Useless...!

"You are very silly, friend." He smiled at the man, as if he were a friend, dismissing any idea of a partner due to his obvious lack of sanity. "I haven't spoken to someone like you in a while. Why don't you stay a while? I'd love the company, and I can tell you more about this world."

At that point a hissing would be heard from behind the man. "If you want to go so badly you can," he said, letting go of him. At that point a skeletal creature would leap out from behind Joseph, attempting to attack him. A ray of light would disintegrate the creature, rendering it into a pile of ashes.

"Hideous creatures, preying on the weak." He realised that he could have just offended the man, so then said, "Not that you are weak. You could totally defend yourself." He paused for second to think. "You could go now if you wanted... or you could tag along with me." The truth is, Parell was getting lonely. Working on your own to exorcise spirits was tiring and since there was no companionship involved he found himself always bored.

Ayaka hadn't heard any screaming, but she now heard a couple people talking. When she got up, she could see the two of them. There seemed to be someone there covered in blood too. That couldn't have been where the smell of blood was actually coming from, however. She wondered which of these two was the one that had been screaming when she approached them. "Hello," she said to both of them. "My name's Ayaka. What about the two of you?"@IceboundMemoire@mmarage

I had turned around after hearing the hissing sound only to be met by a strange skeletal creature about to attack me. The next thing I knew was that a burst of light disintegrated the creature. I didn't even hear what the man had said... at this point... I was questioning what was reality and what was an illusion. I barely registered the arrival of another person... None of this could have been real. A lake of blood full of dead bodies... a man that shot light beams... skeletal creatures... and...

My gaze fell back to the girl covered in blood. My eyes wide with terror. That man hadn't acknowledged her existence. He hadn't seen her. Was it... that person...? From the lake...? Was she a ghost...? There to drag me back to the lake and have me join them? My heart began hammering out of control. I backed away, only to trip and fall flat on my ass. I looked around quickly and found my discarded knife not too far away, I crawled towards it quickly, snatched it up, and began running as fast as I possibly could. Away from this strange man, and that woman, that... ghost.

"None of this makes sense, none of this makes sense, none of this makes sense...! Wake up, wake up, wake up! It's a dream, it's a dream, it's a dream!" Those thoughts kept running through my head as I ran. I didn't run for too long... maybe a little less than a quarter of a mile. My breathing was ragged, my side was stinging horribly, I felt like I couldn't get enough oxygen into my lungs. I eventually hid behind a tree, sinking down to my knees, my back against the tree. I covered my mouth and forced myself to breathe through my nose, afraid that my ragged breathing would be loud enough for someone to hear me.

Tatsuya and his sisters stopped as they came upon the lake, and Tatsuya pinched his nose to block out the smell of human blood. "O-onii-chan...." Miyako hid behind Sakura, who seemed just as horrified as she was. "I-is that...?" He nodded, and both sisters gasped, before all three of them noticed the guy in armor with his foot holding down someone else, and Tatsuya approached the two, still covering his nose to block out the smell. "Hello?" he said, as Miyako and Sakura followed behind him.

One of them had backed away, grabbed their knife and took off running as soon as Ayaka arrived. "Huh? Well now I know whose been screaming and running about like a lunatic..." It looked more like he was totally freaked out about something and under the illusion that he was in danger. "He'll end up in danger if he doesn't start thinking straight, though..." She knew it wouldn't exactly do much good for her to go after him. He'd probably more think she was chasing him than anything. Well hopefully, the guy will calm down.

"Anyway," Ayaka decided upon turning her attention to the other guy who wasn't acting crazy and freaked out. "Do you know where we are?"

"I'm Parell. Parell Nouin. An exorcist." He took a bow. "If you'll excuse me, I believe I've made a mistake that will lead to the death of the idiot you saw before." He'd then begin to run off in the direction that the man he'd met earlier ran off.

@mmarage

He'd run off and begin shouting. "I'm sorry I frightened you earlier. I guess I was a bit too forceful; you see I don't really meet people my age around here often, let alone other men. The last time I talked to one was a long time ago. I just want to be friends, and do what guys do when they hang out and stuff. I apologise. If I made it out that I was going to drag you in the bloody lake, I assure you I won't. I'll take you as far away as you want. If you stay here something will end up killing you. Even some of the trees are monsters here. I really don't see the use in wasting your life, so please, come out and travel with me. I'll protect you to the best of my ability and try to explain things you don't understand to you. Only if you want to." He waited a short time for a reply.

Well Ayaka certainly wasn't going to be the one to chase after him. She wanted to find out where the smell of blood was actually coming from, but figured she'd find that out soon enough. For now she decided upon following after Parell. She ran where both the other two had just run off too and soon caught up to them. Since it seemed, they were talking at the moment, Ayaka chose to wait a couple minutes before saying anything. Hopefully, Parell had managed to calm the guy down so they could actually talk to him.

Luna found herself walking around a rather creepy forest. She had no idea if anyone else was here or where she was. All she knew was that she was in some sort of forest and didn't know why. Deciding, that well, she already didn't know where she was to begin with, that'd she just start running. Too bad there didn't seem to be an ocean or a lake nearby to play in, though. Oh well, perhaps she'll end up meeting someone else.
