I'm here. I'd imagine that it would be in the position it's been -- the flat of its bladed end facing Crystal. This would assume that it's being held perpendicular to Shin.

Logged off to take a nap at the worst possible time. The follow up question was:

Disregarding the unannounced appearance of a secondary projectile, due to the loose and unclear wording in the initial post I can see how there could be multiple projectiles without the mention of any actual number of them. What exactly is the second projectile doing to Shin's weapon hand? Assuming this means the hand he was holding his weapon in, not his actual dominant hand.

The wording, if we are referencing mine is not random or a surprise at all. Earlier in the match Crystal reached into her pocket and 'mined forth two diamonds'. Those two diamonds are the same ones being used in the recent string of posts.

The second moved just as the first diamond lens was struck to trap his hand by folding around it and the weapon like a large rock. The crystal is held in place by Crystal, instead of falling to the floor or weighing shin down.

My post was way more aggressive than it was meant to be, I apologize for that. It was way late and I was way tired. Anyway, I thought one of those had been used up in the first spell. So I figured only one projectile could be fired in the next offensive.

Which spell are you referencing? The air blade? The sword chimera was used as the focusing rod for that. The diamonds were both used as shields.

Two Questions:
This barrier around Shin is approximately how thick?

Scratch that, I figured it out.

Since it's for all intents and purposes prepped at least twice, we'll say about 4 inches thick. The prison is in fact Ishtalle and retains all of her inherant abilities. I forgot to put this in the post(I'll edit it in shortly for official purposes if you dont mind) but she cannot morph while acting as a prison, but also disallows other weapons to morph, using magic as a binding agent.

Edit: Yes the blade is primed to stab him through the back and exit the front.

Technically the weapon is amorphous at its base, and I would argue against it denying the functionality of its shapeshifting capabilities. But since I don't need it to shapeshift to escape, the argument is moot.

Edit: Last question, is it a long flat blade, or spear blade?

Even an amorphous object wouldn't have much wiggle room within highly ordered solids charged with magic in my professional opinion. If its ability to morph is wholly physical it would be restrained within Ishtalle, an equally morphic material, and if it were magical it would be hampered by the aforementioned magical binding.

But if it's moot then so be it.

Edit: it's a straight sword, being fired with its edge vertical to the ground.
