Good god I really want Circe and Gembone to meet though...I almost really hope they end up as good friends. It'll be cute.

I used my excuse to bring Original Eve into this.
"A single apple seed's still filled with cyanide. The tree it grows will just have more. Newly formed doesn't change the fact that she's an emotionally manipulative prick like Calomel was. But by all means," she grins her inhuman grin, irises mere pinpricks, "Go on with your little guilt tripping shtick and bring this Chara to me. At worst I'll be dead, which really doesn't mean much to a gem like me. At best? I'll have some worthy entertainment for once. Either way, I'm ready to have a good time~♪"

Circe is capable of being bloodthirsty. Easily. However, I seriously hope that she's never pushed to become like this. The earlier line was more snarky than real, but this one is pure killer instinct

Now, Charoite isn't normally like this. But she's very manipulative, and a brilliant actor. She can switch from sweet, naive victimised girl to an evil, borderline psychopath.

@ianzerep I actually dunno how Gems are when they are born, so I just assumed they come out with their personalities as is. I mean, they come out with bodies, so wouldn't it be the same with personalities?

Honestly, Original Eve couldn't care less if Chara cried. Original Eve is all levels of 'fucked up to the point of honest-to-goodness beyond caring'. She lives for her own whim and whimsy. She accepts and embraces how easy a gem like her can and will die, and that as a gem who was meant to be disposable, there's no reason to fear death or any higher purpose to her existence.

I portrayed most gems as having some 'stock traits' when they emerged but otherwise changing and growing into different personalities based on their experiences, thus why every version of Eve is so drastically different but still have some similar traits at their base. The classic Inné et Acquis.
