Name: Eve. Also known under the moniker of 'Yellow Imp' or 'Impy', to Reggie's 'Wimpy'.
Gem: Evenkite
Gem Placement: On her left ankle
Gem Item: Eve does not have the ability to summon a gem item, period. (I know the image still has her with her pike but I've decided I'd rather do away with it and buff her abilities a bit instead)
Powers:Levitation - Eve has the ability to make objects, people, and herself, to float in the air. This, however, is limited by three different factors:
Time- No object can be levitated for an infinite amount of time. The denser the object, the harder it'll be to levitate, and shorter amount of time it can be used for.
Energy- Each attempt of levitation requires some energy, and with each attempt, energy is expended. The longer an object stays in the air and the heavier it is, the more energy it takes up.
Subject of levitation- Certain things are simply more easy to levitate than others, regardless of their density. An inanimate target is much easier to control, followed by a willing target, and lastly, the most difficult, an unwilling target.
Thermal Absorption - Eve has the ability to drain heat from a target and channel it into another. The heat can be stored and built up through overtime, and used as needed, as a sort of 'battery'. They are unable to create their own heat or manipulate it in any other sense. Prolongued use of this will lower their immunity to the heat they drain, meaning at one point, she herself will be burnt.
Typhokinesis - Smoke manipulation. Though unable to willingly produce her own smoke (she will unwillingly create smoke when she is metaphorically 'burned out'), Eve is able to manipulate and shape smoke for both offensive (typhokinetic combat) and defensive (eg; smoke cover and mimicry) purposes. How much she can do is limited by her surroundings, as she can only use what's available. It should be noted that the smoke mimicry can only be preformed with already existing smoke and that Eve cannot hold it for more than a minute.
Backstory: (Raijin, and to a lesser extent, Kronshi, and I will reveal this in the RP)
Other:Emotional Strength - Trust. Though the trust in herself is quite strong, though the same cannot be said for that in others; it is not something easily earned from Eve, so if one does manage to, it's quite a powerful link. Freedom is a close second.
Emotional Weakness - Restraint; the moment in which you try to take control over or hold Eve back is the moment in which she, ironically, loses control...If she's not in control, then her partner can't be, either.
Real life Gemstone:
-Evenkite is a rare gemstone from an already rare group of minerals; hydrocarbons. In fact, it is the only hydrocarbon with a mineral form.
-It is non-porous.
-It, like Talc, is a very soft mineral, with a Mohs scale hardness of one.
-Evenkite is created from volcanos and occurs commonly in petrified wood.
-It is also most commonly seen alongside the mineral of Quartz.
-It is most likely the lightest non-porous gemstone; it's density measures up to 0.87 grams per cubic centimeter, which is even less than water. This gives Evenkite the ability to float, unlike most gemstones.
-Evenkite naturally occurs in three colours; pale yellow, and yellow-green, and more often than not, it is simply nearly clear white.
The Gem:
-Like her real-world counterpart, Evenkite is incredibly light. So light, in fact, that she can easily be blown away by some strong winds and harsher impacts if not using her levitation to stabilize herself. She can also hover slightly, but nothing like Lapis's ability to fly into space.
-She also cannot sink due to this.
-Evenkite never seems to stick around a place for too long, and seems to have a knack for leaving without notice.
-Like Amethyst, Evenkite enjoys eating and sleeping, even though she doesn't need to.
-Though Evenkite is emotionally very strong, the same cannot be said physically; Evenkite seems to be quite sensitive to physical injury as well, being rather easy to take out if hit. As such, she relies a lot on speed and swiftness.
-Evenkite isn't a rebel, but rather a gem smuggled to Earth by the infamous Talc as a means of 'giving her a kinder fate than what Homeworld would give'. She's far older than the new Kindergarten gems, but many years away from being as old as the rebels. As Talc was torn between both sides of the war, she did not influence Eve's stance on the matter in the least, making her effectively neutral.
-She was under the care of Talc for most of her life, and is the only gem she's had any prolonged contact with. The two of them led mostly secret lives, with the only other person she had contact with being Reggie.
-For some reason, she's nearly always walking on her toes.
