Junior stays quiet as she tries to let the two legends talk to themselves, unsure on what she should do. As Mothra spun her parasol releasing more spores, she floated down passing up the golden dragon with her nose in the air, landing down beside Junior with such a soft thump. She smiled warmly at Junior, where all at once that ice cold stare she gave the dragon was gone in an instant, replaced by a soft mothering look, her eyes looking more like soft snow. The teen gijinka was utterly captivated by the legendary kaiju's eyes, almost as if she was hypnotized, but not quite.
“Are you ok?” Mothra asked softly,
"I bet it was scary.” Junior nods with a faint smile, only to have Mothra lean down to kiss her forehead, blushing as her cheeks began to feel a little warm.
“Don’t worry, he won’t be bothering you anymore,” the woman reassuringly tells the girl, turning around to look up the murderous look in her eyes returned just as fast as they left.
“I will say, that I wasn’t here for you,” she explains to Ghidorah,
"I was just looking for Godzilla, but seeing you here has me thinking that maybe you know exactly why I’m here,” she hissed, taking a step forward the energy pulsing from her body causing small rocks to uplift and large boulder to crack under the pressure.
So she was looking for Junior's mother? What for? Did she piss her off somehow? The girl simply didn't know. She only hoped that mother was on her way now...
“Where are the Shobijin?” then asked Mothra plainly.
Of course! No wonder the legendary gijinka was by herself, for she was looking for the fairies. She's rarely seen without them either way. Her mother usually had no quarrel with them, if she's seen them at all. She must have seen them before, but perhaps only on rare occasions. Junior has seen them more than one, but often under Mothra's eye and protection. Wherever have the gone off to now...?
However, unaware to the two other kaiju gijinka, Junior happens to hear faint stopping coming from deep within the jungle... she must be on her way at last... and she must already be pissed as all hell.
Gipsy follows Gamera in hot pursuit, trying to keep up with her as they raced upon the rooftops. Eventually, the turtle gijinka jumps onto a building facing Tokyo Bay and takes a look around.
“Otachi was somewhere around here, but possibly left or she's hiding like all Kaiju now,” she explained squatting over the edge of the building looking down squinting her eyes.
“You have some form of scanner right; can you find her?”The mech girl nods, replying with a simple,
"Yeah, will do." as she turns on her onboard scanning visor.
Suddenly, she hears a faint electrical sound, something similar to that of an oncoming EMP blast, as the two were hit by a weak, but noticeable shockwave. It was there when Gipsy's scanner began to flicker as her whole body was trying to combat the EMP that risked short circuiting her systems. She kneels onto the ground with a grunt as she began to quickly recover from the blast. But the blast didn't effect just her, oh no, it also did some to the surrounding radius in this part of Tokyo. Lights began to flicker off in an increasing radius around them, with other electronics shutting down, leaving the city defenseless. At the same time, the two can hear panicking citizens from below as they tried to figure out what just happened.
"Crap!" Gipsy curses aloud,
"That felt like a big ole' EMP pulse had detonated somewhere nearby. It must be the work of Otachi's partner-in-crime, Leatherback. The only question... is where are they?"The first time Gipsy fought Otachi was in Hong Kong, where she also fought Leatherback, a brute with incredible power and the ability to issue EMP pulses to shut down a local district of an entire city. Thankfully, Gipsy and the other Jaegers were recently outfitted with anti-EMP systems, which would fight against any unwanted jolts that would otherwise short circuit them. However, larger and longer volts of electricity could still shut them down if they weren't careful and most of their targeting and scanning systems will be barely usable for a short while. She tries to reprogram her scanning system to be back online, only for it to continue stuttering, offering little visibility in the meantime. She cusses verbally as she looks around.
"Looks like my scanning system will take a little bit to reboot itself. Give it three minutes or so to be back to normal..."
