@Heckno12 Definately down for this. Would only like to call one Pokemon which is Metagross with mega. Calling Metagross means I would start with a beldum, yes? Also I have a story arch/plot thing to go with the mega already, which will allow me to obtain it at a fair time, as to not make it seem unfair to other trainers who may not have a mega stone yet. I'm getting really ahead of myself xD, I just really like Pokemon RPs.
Also idk if it's just me but the map picture isn't working.
@AbysmalDemon I'm certainly happy to have you. Yeah, it'd probably be best if you started with Beldum given your plan there. In regards to the map...Huh, let me see if I can fix that.
Personality: Nyxx is an odd girl at first she can be a very cold individual except to her pokemon and barely speaks to others. She can warm up to people if given enough time but she’s never really spent enough time with others to get that done. Very easily bored and a low attention span often times leads her to giving up on most thing way too early undermining the fact she actually tried very hard at everything she does, her overall progress is done in massive short bursts even though its like a flame and fades quickly. Nyxx is that person in the office with loads of potential and talent slacking off all day and telling them same jokes she told the other day because she doesn’t want to think of others, and then somehow gets everything done and never gets fired.
Appearance:
Height: 6’ 0
History:
Nyxx Hollow was born in a small town in the middle of nowhere special somewhere out in the Sinnoh region, her mother was quite the famous coordinator so traveling to the different regions became and frequency for her. She was raised around Pokemon contests from a very young age, however she never truly took a liking to it, she loved Pokemon just never enjoyed the concept of the pokecontest. As such Nyxx skated through her childhood with her eyes half open and face in a perpetual yawning motion almost as if she was just too good for most things and in fact she in a since was at least in an educational aspect.
She never failed a class but did get in trouble for skipping all the time or just plain sleeping, in fact, one of those skipping sessions was how she met the Pokemon that would eventually become her partner in a very hyper active Buneary. Of course her mother allowed her to keep it after all the house was filled with tons of Pokemon anyway, what was one more, but this was the first one she could call her own and that meant something to her, it put a shine in her dull eyes that her mother had never seen before.
Nyxx’s mother gave her a Pokeball to catch her friend and encouraged her to set out on her own journey to be a Pokemon trainer, but she wanted her daughter to start her journey in a different region being that she’d been to quite a few already. Kosei region was one place she had never seen and would provide the biggest thrill, thankfully with one phone call to the professor, she was quickly registered and on her way towards a brand new chapter in her life.
Preferred Starter: Buneary
Team:
Bag items: five pokeballs and two potions
called pokemon: Lopunny (mega), Altaria, Umbreon , Gengar, Kingdra, Magnazone
Just updated the call list (and moved it to the rules). Should have everything that's currently called. I'm also calling it a night, y'all have a good one.
When Alex puts his mind to something he can finish it. Working as hard as he can and paying little attention to nothing but his work and his accomplishments can have him come off as stubborn and a little arrogant, though he really is a nice guy. He takes pride in his work and his training and is willing to further his work as much as he can by any means. Though he only puts his true trust in few people, what with all things going around with Team Noble, though that's not to say that he will be secluded around strangers. He actually likes meeting new people, but it is normal for him to have to warm up to them first. Alex is friendly to his Pokemon, giving them his utmost attention and respect, as they have a mutual relationship of protection. Each one protects the other, and that has creating a strong bond between them, and it will create a strong bond between him and the future Pokemon he meets.
Alex has short locks of light brown hair slightly swept to the left side. He has chocolate brown eyes and a slightly tanned skin. He usually has a look of confidence on his face. He has a slightly toned body and can usually be found in his signature jacket. It has grey sleeves and a gray hood, but the rest is a pitch black leather with a shiny silver zipper running down the front. He wears deep blue denim jeans and has he Pokébelt woven through the beltloops with so far a single Pokéball and his Pokédex. His bag is blue with a single white pokeball insignia on the front. His outfit is complete with his black lace up tennis shoes, and a gold wristwatch that his father had given to him before he left.
Height: 6'1
Alex grew up in a rich household where everything was basically handed to him. Because of this he never truly experienced what other kids his young age did. He explored the wilderness on foot looking for Pokémon, he was always escorted in a fancy limousine on the trails. He never got to experience a journey when he was younger, because his parents wanted him to focus on his useless studies. The one good thing that came from his studies was the end, when was the time he was given his first Pokémon. His parents figured since he had completed the necessary training courses he was ready for a companion to journey with, but they created their own type of bond, one not emotions D in the competitive books and private lessons, the bond of friendship. Alex and his Beldum grew to be great friends, and his parents were rich enough to afford a shiny Pokemon.
As three years went by Alex and Beldum were now the best of friends, human and Pokémon. Though he hadn't really been out of the house to train his Beldum, so it was still a pretty low level. He wasn't too focused on the competitive aspect of things anyway. So when his parents pushed him over the edge, talking about being the champion and beating the elite four, when he had just received a Pokémon a couple years ago. He stormed off with Beldum and his life savings on a card. There wasn't really anything he could do but start his journey, and he decided to start it in his own hometown of Windshire. His timing was perfect, as his father also declared he would be leaving the region for multiple years on businesses, which would leave his mother alone with the servants and her Pokémon, so naturally he would have to visit her sometimes. But he didn't need to focus on that right now, he needed to focus on stepping through the doors of the professor's lab.
@Heckno12 Just read some of previous posts and while I feel triple typing Pokémon would be just complicated, as we would have to see what type fits the Pokémon that already has a set typing, but dual type moves could work, and in fact when I was younger I made some up. If you want I could post them here or PM them to you if you want to take a look at them yourself.
@AbysmalDemon Triple typing would probably also end up with combinations that don't have weaknesses again(with fairy type added to the mix, that currently isn't a thing). This isn't really stuff that we're considering for the RP, we were just discussing things the main series could do to change the meta a bit.
@Noxx Well most of us are at least headed for Windshire anyway to see the professor. It's likely we'll all meet there and figure it out. Discovering new Pokemon can be done in just about the same way you'd expect from the games, stumbling across them in their natural environment. Luckily Kosei has just about everything covered in terms of biomes. Leveling up is going to be more of a progress thing, IE: we get a certain distance while training, participate in so many battles etc... If anything we'll just be estimating (and hopefully keeping everyone pretty close to eachother).
@Heckno12 ok sounds good. Had a pretty stressful day so I hopped on showdown and now I feel 100% better. Bulk Up Machamp is so good it's actually broken.
@AbysmalDemon Don't get me started on quiver dance Liligant. Or if you've ever seen power trick Shuckle. (Or literally anything after they get two dragon dances in)
