Well, exactly what's in his post: he's praying to Fineki to give him a sign as to whether or not he should take the staff, specifically whether he does so as part of the post before anyone else shows up. I was meaning for that to be something you handled, but if we're limiting it to whether we have PCs show up before he receives any such sign, then it's not a big deal either way.

@BCTheEntity Ah ok, I thought you were referring to something planned past that. I do believe that I will play the part of Fineki, and it'll be your choice on what your character wants to believe, or who he listens to. But I don't think it will matter too much on whether An-Hasst is there or not.

@FetzenUnless you went down the specific tunnel Argon and Sett had gone, you would not have seen a thing. Though you could still go that way if you wish. It's just not where Geradin said for everyone to move to. Their tunnel was on the left while the one you were uncovering was forward.

A stairway. Given that they had travelled over a somewhat dilapidated looking bridge that could very well have offered all of them a quick death by gravity-induced high-speed impact and had just witnessed the glory of a dwarven smithy surrounded by angry lava this almost human-made looking commodity was nothing the Skayleigh would have had expected. The question was... where did it go ? In an act of selfish curiosity, An-Hasst didn't hesitate to try and find out how well the stairs could handle his giant feet and got going, not delivering any explicit callout to his comrades about what he was doing.
