Sadly (or perhaps very fortunately) that wouldn't quite work out. He needs at least a basic understanding of any abilities in order to transfer them. Since the cost of Charlotte's abilities is a pretty major point, he couldn't go messing around animating stuff before having it explained to him.

I am so glad I put that line in the character sheet.
For this to occur, he must be touching both the donor and the recipient, and aware of the abilities being bestowed.

I don't even get this Maxwell guy.

"Damn Heroes, killing people in their fights. You know, what I'll do? Kill more innocent people and blame it on them!"

I am surprised by how fast a few characters have already jumped into villain territory. I thought Jack was going to be near the deep end xD

Moral myopia. "It's not bad as long as it's done for the greater good. Oh, and the other side aren't actually doing it for the good, just for attention. How do I know this? JUST BECAUSE!"

I would say Patrick is just morally grey. He kills because it pays the bills. Well that and he likes all the work leading up to the kill. But the killing itself is just a job to him.

This is exactly the sort of question I find interesting. Superheroes are ultimately a slippery slope no matter how good their intentions- a massively powerful being using that power to apply their own personal morals on the population.

Anyways, keep up the great work everyone! This story is going in all sorts of crazy directions.

I'm getting the impression this is to lead to some creator and creation dissonance later on, hence why making him villainous so he can be dropped later. Specially if Wilbur gets a chance to talk with her.

Wow so much violence

Killing an opponent is easy, I'm surprised more sociopath don't understand this. A true master of combat knows how use the correct amount of force to eliminate threats and killing takes the least amount of skill and willpower.

It is the path of the unskilled.

@RumikoOhara It really depends on the situation. If you're in a life or death situation, a rookie might try and go for leg shots, but a professional knows to put the threat down hard and fast. Now it's a bit different for superheroes, but their standards don't apply as much to the rest of the world.

@MrDidact

It is easy to Kill which is why so many take that path.

For a rookie or the general grunt the torso shot is the least difficult I agree but for the Elite precision is everyday and Impossible just a Word.

Besides Cypress's Publicist has schooled her on the relevance of public image in operation. Losing points in the public opinion polls is like weighing yourself while trying to tread water; eventually you sink an drown.

Think how nice an friendly Canadians are (Well till pushed)

Only for certain kinds of people, for most, you have to undergo rigorous training and indoctrination to even get in the right mindset to deliberately end a life.

When it comes to superheroics, you can't really compare it to any other kind of combat. Any kind of battle outside a training room or a street brawl is a kill or be killed situation, and while a certain amount of luck is there, the most skilled tend to survive.

In comic book situations however, their powers and abilities allow them to end fights without killing, which is something that real life people just can't do reliably like comic book characters can. And in comic books, fights are pretty much started over everything and permanently ending the opponent isn't the goal. They have the luxury of taking people alive. In the real world it often does not work out that way.

I don't think that's germane to what you're actually saying though. On a certain point I kinda agree, you have to be a real badass like Batman or Daredevil to take down guys without killing them. But the best killers have skill and artistry that rookies and novices don't have, like Deathstroke or John Wick.

Batman is brutal though, and he does kill depending on which version of him you are looking at.
