However, a lot of the ideas I saw on here inspired me to create my own avatar rp, so look for it!

I'm sorry, I didn't see this earlier. But a DATE? PLANS? COMPETENT GMING?

Um, I'm going to assume that a weekend would be the best for everyone? I plan to have the cast finalized by Friday at the VERY latest so depending upon how long that takes I can open the roleplay either on Friday if we get it finished sooner and on Saturday if that is not the case.

Essentially our opening plan with my post, a post from the Avatar demonstrated some sick bending abilities (similar to Korra's firebending test only EVERYTHING while the instructors watch from comfy seats) after a post from the instructors with some feedback then we'll probably time skip to the next day and the airship where they can get to know each other for a few posting cycles and then BOOM the airship crashes and then after some juicy action and a fight scene. We'll make way with the plot and after the group decides to help there will be a party in the Avatar's honor and FROM THERE...we'll you'll see.

I realize that most of that wasn't an answer to your question but there you go anyway.

@Inertia Generally speaking the bending masters might know OF each other, but they shouldn't be particularly acquainted. From the looks of the characters so far as well it seems that most of them were traveling or solo agents anyway so it would probably feel more natural if they were to be meeting for the first time. The White Lotus is being especially secretive with this selection of agents because the Avatar is starting to mature nicely (like a fine cheese) and so San is more desperate than ever to get his hands on her.

As for a character impressions sheet; it is coming! There will be a small journal like section for characters to write and update about how they feel about one another - first or third person is fine. I'm just waiting until the cast is final and so people don't need to start worrying about character relations etc only for someone to drop out/not get the role!

@Inertia That would be fine. I mean that on the whole they should not be overall familiar with one another. One or two connections would be fine so long as they aren't too intimate but they shouldn't walk into the room being like "HEY GUYS FEELS LIKE ITS ONLY YESTERDAY!!!! 8D!"

@Dawnscroll The only thing I would point out is that the masters aren't supposed to already know one another, and Kariya's profile seems to imply she's a relatively recent addition to the White Lotus, so... How would Fan have a 4 year pai sho losing streak with her? :P

So me and @Inertia were talking and we made up a scenario where our characters could have met a few years prior to the main storyline. It sets up a sort of friendly rivalry/dislike between the two. Tell us if it's ok to use.

Shailesh, lacking the common sense of normal earthbenders because of his constant travelling, wanders through the desert and drinks cactus juice out of thirst or curiosity. What ensues is a hallucination-induced bending frenzy through a local village. Kazuno, who happened to be in the town at that time, tries to stop any further property damage with her own bending. Her general recklessness only makes it worse. The ensuing fight destroys much of the town and they are both forced to perform community service, during which they bicker all the time. When the mandatory service is done, they part on unfriendly terms, eager to put the incident behind them. A few years pass and they have both mostly forgotten about it. Until they're forced to work together again on the same team.
