insanely attractive? How do I seem more confident? Connor wondered. taking a moment to try and figure that out, but he couldn't. "Well, it might be connected to the fact Dad was doing a lot for the academy, in connection to what happened before...and it's amazing how many people what his opinion at the tower. It was either pick up the slack, or let things go crazy there" he said, wondering if that was the confidence boost, "honestly, I think he just did it deliberately. He's always believed in me"

There had been a few moments of panic, as he realised that somehow, everything fell to him. "you know, he'd always drag me to the tower whenever school let out. I had more fun in the R&D then anywhere else, but I think he just did more work so I could pick it up" He smiled, remembering the times of being in a meeting room, more interested in what he was trying to piece together then whatever was going on, and sometimes his father would just lean over, and whisper something to him.

"So I spent it kinda running the company, doing some building stuff, and trying to find out all I could about what's going on" He said, "What did you do?"

"Which is probably why she likes you" Phoebe said, "Everything needs like, not just plants and nature" She said, and gave Tsura a smile, "The thing about having these powers is...it's like knowing you can run 100 metres in mere seconds. You know you can do it, but what if something happens?" She poked the minion again, and this time vines sprouted around it, giving it more form as it dancing happily on Tsura's shoulder.

"You can probably do so many wonderful things, Tsura. Just like katherin can. I keep telling her she's amazing, and I'll do the same for you, until you both believe it"

As Hachi chased after his brother one of his hooves got caught in a hole. The motion caused him to fall and wince. Back in human form he clutched his leg pulled off his boot and looked at his slowly swelling ankle. "A sprain...ouch"
Jasper ran up to him and shifted to human. He looked worried until Hachi shook his head. "It's just a sprain nothing too horrible just hurts really badly"

Jasper huffed and helped his brother up. They made their way to the fountain where Hachi used some water to make a cooling bandage for himself. It didn't get his clothes wet but the small amount of relief it was giving was visible on Hachi's face.

Kyle chuckled gently. He looked Kalinda in her eyes, and smiled.

"I understand hun. That fine. I couldn't help it this garden is beautiful and calming. I can understand why you like it so much."

Kyle laid on his back and invited Kalinda to cuddle up close to him.

"If you want go ahead and sleep. I will watch over you, make sure nothing bad happens. Plus, if you are well rested we can do other stuff later. I have always been a night owl anyways."

Emily Nakajima

" Well, I don't want to make you embarrassed in front of anyone or any of your new friends." She told her told her younger sister while patting her head. Nakajima felt confident in her speed knowing that she could match many other people's speeds but she knew she could never outrun a speedster or an Olympic runner, or someone that was just running since birth, but she knew that she could run pretty fast and cover a long distance without needing to stop and catch her breath. Her sister, on the other hand, was a different story. Naka did a couple stretches limbering up before she would race her sister." I'm still giving you a headstart Jin-Jin, I will catch up to you." She told her sister.

Unlike Jin, Emily did not take a runner's pose, she kept her casual stance and the moment Jin yelled. "GO!" Emily simply jogged slowly at first not burning all of her energy, then she began catching up to Jin without hesitating, she kept up next to Jin without breaking a sweat.

Violet did a few flips and came back down and sat next to him. "Griffin? I just had a troubling thought. What if Zack doesn't like me? You did say that you are two separate people in one body. So what happens if you like me and he doesn't?" Violet seemed to be thinking a lot on this taxing possibility. "You mentioned a girl, Kalinda. Is she his girlfriend? Do you like her?" She was smiling but part of her wasn't joking and was worried.

Violet realized she didn't know what his powers were. "Griffin, what are your powers?" Violet ran full out at the wall and she took two steps up the side of it and flipped over backwards into a martial arts move. "Do you want to spar with me? I bet I could kick your butt." She grinned and teased him.

Jasper looked at his brother and started fidgeting. Hachi watched his brother for a few moments before laying back on the edge of the fountain and huffing. "Go find some people brother. If you need me I'll be here." Jasper nodded and stood. "Youvsure you'll be fine?" a sigh escaped Hachi and he nodded. "Yea the swelling has already gone down"

Jasper nodded again and walked off. As he walked he shifted to fox and bounded about. Black paws landing in the green of the grass as he went. His nose twitched as he inhaled the scents around him and he started following two scents. He soon came across a couple laying in the grass. He approached his nine tails waving somewhat. "Oh hello people." His voice sounded off in their minds as if he spoke out loud. He sat near them and tilted his head.

Mean while Hachi inspected his ankle. The swelling had gone down but it was an angry purple and blue color. He sighed and made a ball of water that he proceeded to mess with. It was a rather peaceful day to be outside. He did some more tricks with the water ball.

Griffin shook his head. "You don't have to worry. Zack likes everyone. He is very easy going. The chances of him not liking you is very small. I can only think of one person that my brother didnt like. You are nothing like that person." He assured her. He didnt think there was much to worry about. He disliked more people then Zack did. "No Kalinda is neither of our girlfriends. We are too complicated to date. We both agree that it wouldnt be fair to the girl we got involved with." He tilted his head. He hadnt thought to explain their powers. He rarely remember that. "We can fly and change shapes. I do not think that you can defeat me in a sparring match."

Violet looked up at Griffin shocked. "Not date? Of course you can date. Some of us understand a lot more than most. You just have to find the right girl. I would say that is more unfair to the girl who would be a perfect match for you both." Violet looked over at him and smirked.

"You don't think I can beat you huh? Want to prove it?" She stood up and rocked back and forth on her heels and waved him on. "Come on, attack me! I dare you! Come on Griffin don't look at my size and worry about it. Don't hold back." Violet watched his eyes and waited.

While rest seemed like the best thing in the world right then, Kalinda shook her head, and said "Someone approaches" They didn't seem hostile, so Kalinda didn't move, instead she closed her eyes and shifted into Kyle's warmth.

"Hello" She replied, seemingly unphased by the fact the being spoke in her mind. Her voice was a little slurred, as if she was on the verge of sleep. "A new student? Welcome to the wonderful world of the aacademy" She could have done a better greating, but the sun, her own exhaustion, and kyle were doing their work, and she knew she was falling asleep.

Still. She couldn't verywell sleep could she? It wasn't so much sleep she needed, as rest. Giving a sigh, she reached up and rubbesd her eyes, sitting up, she opened them, looking to the new person. She blinked, but otherwise didn't seem surprised about the fact it was a nine tailed fox. @BlackPanther@dabombjk

Kyle looked over at the approaching figure, and grinned. This was new, a nine tailed fox! Kyle grinned in excitement, still holding Kalinda.

"Cool dude. Whats up? My name is Kyle Grayson The AMAZ-."

Kyle realized he was about to do his theatrics again, and calmed himself. He did not want to over exert Kalinda.

"Sorry. Cant help but get excited when I introduce myself. My name is Kyle Grayson, and its awesome to meet you. You're new here too huh? Same here. This is my first time being here. This is Kalinda....."

Kyle realized he forgot Kalinda's last name and that he wasnt sure how to introduce her. Was she his friend? He didnt ask her out yet, but that didnt mean he didnt want to. They had kissed twice now, so they obviously had feelings for each other. He was willing to let Kalinda label them right now.

Griffin shook his head. "I do not do emotions. And Zack has too many. It would be hard for a girl to love us evenly. It would be a triangle or whatever they are called. It wouldnt be fair to any of us. It is best if we stay away from serious relationships." He wasnt sure that he could handle a relationship. He didnt like to be touched. It brought up too many memories.

"It is not your size that conserns me. I know that size does not define the fighter. It is simply that I have had more training then you. This is our second year here. I have taken classes taught by experts. You have not. It would not be fair. While not all fights are fair I have no desire to fight you." He didnt understand her desire to fight. Was it because she was bored.

Jasper sat up straighter and seemed to grin. He then sat and tilted his head. "It's good to meet you both I am" as the voice spoke in their heads it seemed to switch to out of their heads as Jasper became human.

"Jasper weilder of fire and generally awesome guy" he bowed. He straightened and slightly tweaked how the mask on his head was sitting. Bright blue eyes glittered with mischief and fun. He was the embodiment of a kitsune.There is a slight chance that Kyle met his match in someone with a love for being dramatic....though Jasper is more obnoxious then dramatic.

He tilted his head and had a curious look in his eye. "So what can you two do?"

Hachi continued to do tricks with the ball of water and sighed. He wondered what poor souls were being tortured by his younger brother.

Violet wasn't sure what to do. She basically felt like he just insulted her twice in a matter of seconds. She knew he didn't mean it that way but she still felt that way. She picked up her stuff and said, "I'm going to go. I'll see you later." She walked outside not feeling too well. She had started to feel like this year might be better than she had thought but now she wasn't so sure.

She went to the fountain and saw Hachi there. "Hey what happened to your ankle?" Violet went over to him and looked at it. "It looks a little angry. Are you okay? Does it hurt a lot?"

"Kalinda Roth, daughter of Raven" Kalinda said, picking up where Kyle left off. "This is my second year here. Uh, Kyle and I were just...erm." She could feel her cheeks heat, and she hastily changed the topic, "Did you know that there is an anime with a nine tailed fox in it?" She said, shifting, but not moving away from Kyle. "Oh. I can feel peoples emotions, I can fly, and I have telekinetic abilities." She brushed back her hair from her eyes, sure it was dishelved, but finding that she didn't particularly care.

She gave Kyle a smile, sure he wasn't being as flamboyant as he usually was for her sake, grateful for it, but wanting to say he didn't have to do it for her. There was something reguvinating about th is garden, and with food, Kalinda figured she would be okay, although she wasn't looking forward to gym. @BlackPanther@dabombjk

Sighing El continued her exploration following her intuition spurred on by brief pauses where she took short range readings and observed recent activity. This was fun for her because it was done for curiosity rather than desperation or justice.

She'd spotted a curiously tall and crimson haired boy passing by a few minutes to her scan and was curious. So once the ebony haired blood hound was locked on his path his discovery was certain.

Her path eventually led her to the gym where she observed his odd interaction with a girl that it was obvious was a new acquaintance. Of course her observation happened in the recent past and she merely seemed to pause in the door frame a moment her eyes glowing softly because she was speed reading.

Kyle smiled nervously at Kalinda, and realized she was just as nervous as him. Kyle spoke up to the fox man.

"I um...I dont have any powers. Im the son of NightWing and Oracle, former Batwomen, and grnadson of The Batman. So I may not have powers but I am currently the best teenage detecive and acrobat alive." Kyle coughed slightly. Talking about not having powers always made him uncomfortable. He didnt know why, but he always felt like because he didnt have any powers he had to try harder and not lose against someone with powers. Kyle looked at Kalinda and smiled. He really did have to do something with her though. I mean about their current situation. They cant have this awkward little whatever they introduce themselves to someone.

"Hey....Little Shadow? No how about....ill think of a nickname for you later,"Kyle whispered in Klainda's ear."Do you wanna go out later? As in...a...date?"

Kyle turned slightly red as he spoke. He was trying to be his calmest and bravest, because if he didnt do this now he might not get a chance for a bit. Class is soon, and it would be awkward trying to ask her during class. Then he turned his attention back to the fox man.

"Yea there is this anime with a nine tailed fox. He is a giant beast, that just blows almost everything up then gets sealed inside in infant. Then over the years they learn to work together as the infant grows up and they became an awesome duo."

Kyle laughed nervously. He had no idea why he added to Kalindas contribution of conversation.

Griffin sat outside the cafeteria. He was upset that he had hurt Violet's feelings. He hadn't meant to but he knew that he had. He had never been good with people. It was one of the reasons that Zack did all the socializing. He doubted that Violet had any interest in being his friend any more. He looked up as another new arrival approached. He was alittle wary of trying to interact again but he did not want to be rude. He tilted his head curiously when she greeted him in French. Bonjour bienvenue à l'académie. Nous ne recevons pas le langage de notre mère. Vous devez être un autre nouvel étudiant. Il est presque temps pour le déjeuner. Vous avez trouvé la cafétéria. Si vous pouvez nous où d'autre vous avez besoin d'aide pour trouver dire que nous serions heureux de vous aider à trouver. Il est un grand campus.

Jasper listened to the two and his eyes widened. He looked giddy. "That is so cool both of you. Seriously awesome" he then lightly face palmed. "Totally forgot to say who my mom is." he went back to crossing his arms and gave a grin. "My mom is storm. I'm the younger brother but I'm the awesome one" he winked and then tilted his head. "I don't watch t v often do you guys should totally show me sometime."

He then looked at Kyle and grinned. "Dude....at some point we should totally train together...no powers just training."

Hachi had zoned out so when violet approached him and spoke it caused him to freeze and his water ball to splash on his face. He blinked at her not really registering what she had said for a few moments. He blinked at her then looked at his ankle and back at her before nodding.

"huh oh yea I'm fine. It's just bruised from tripping in a hole" he rubbed the back of his neck. In truth his ankle hurt pretty bad. He tilted his head. "what's on your mind you seem somewhat upset" he was good at reading people, and this allowed him to change the subject.

Violet could tell the ankle hurt. It had to. "Oh, nothing really. My friend and I had a slight misunderstanding. It's not a big deal. So, I'm new here. Anything I should know about this place that isn't in the brochures?" She looked back at his ankle and up at him. "Where were you going? I can help you get there without the extra pain." Violet showed him by tk'ing herself into the air a couple of feet off of the ground.

"So, are all the students here powered? My parents are Psylocke and Sabretooth. Who are yours?" She hoped she wasn't talking too much. She got a little shyer and blushed a little.

little shadow? Kalinda thought with amusement, as Kyle attempted to give her a nickname. She supposed it was better then the alias's she had tried to think up for herself. It had been six months, and she still didn't have one. She gave him a smile and nodded, reaching over to squeeze his hand.

"Tv was life for me, last year. I didn't get out much before coming here" Kalinda said, giving a shrug. She was worried, wondering what Kyle would think when she told him she had, accidently, increased someone's anger and caused them to kill someone. It wasn't something she liked to think on, but it was always there.
