Maybe Vivi need more protein in her diet, get that little girl some more meat on her plate or leave her out in the forest to die for half a year and maybe she'll come back looking stronger, taller and more physically imposing.

Pfft Vivi doesn't need magic. She's the least skilled magician in the Celestia household. She's lighter and faster. Not sure on the fitter part though. Duncan is certainly physically stronger though. And more experienced.
But Vivi also fights Mabeasts for a living.
