"...um ...those guys were already there?" Sammy supposed he should've expected another question like that. "A-and it got Pyro here anyways. They're fine." Not entirely recovered from the possibility of what happened, he still felt the need to point that out. Plus, it seemed to get together everyone else who saw her message. His plan was a success, when you thought about it that way. Hopefully, once it was mentioned why the people were unconscious, this new superhero (superheroine? Sammy was never good with those kinds of words) would understand. Heck, even Pyro did and usually she was already talking about the consequences of going to prison right now.

Then Il Corvo spoke up, and Sammy couldn't help but tilt his head.

"...didn't you see Pyro's message too? I mean, you're not from around here, so I figured you had." That... was rapidly becoming a good question. He and Pyro were natives of the area, they had every right to be here of course. Granted, if it wasn't for that video, Sammy would still be in hiding. But this guy had stumbled into Chicago at this time without knowing anything about what was going on? That was just kinda getting weird.

He was a superhero too, right?

Pyro began to float on her superhot air, a sensation that Sammy had long gotten used to. An invitation back to their base? Sammy had never gotten to see it for himself - that was going to be cool! And definitely an improvement over just pelting people with rocks if he needed their attention. And, hey, Sammy added it as a potential prank location once all this mess was over. If Witch was alright and Pyro was alright and he was alright, why not have a little bit of fun, right? He didn't quite understand the look she made, though, right before she floated back down, and glanced to his side as well. Nope, nothing he could see. Huh.

Ah, directions. "Yeah, sure." He glanced to the others. "I live around here too, I know all the streets, so no way you'll get lost!" He tried to smile. He succeeded, even if it was weaker than the one he'd shown earlier that night.

"Well im not form around here...i'm form New York just came here to help clean..." Ill Crovo said looking over to Sammy and then to Pyro, "No i have not seen this video...but i knew that something was going on" He added keeping his weapons close to him from another gut feeling inside of his stomach.

"So did you see the face or know the name of the guy who attacked you?" The vigilante said to Pyro wanting to know more about the situation.

"They were there, but I'm the one who laid 'em up against the wall." Danny said proudly, before turning to Pyro. "I can keep up, but I'm gonna need to grab my car so it doesn't get towed. I'll follow you, don't worry." With that he ran toward the edge and took a short hop off a tall building.

There wasn't an earth shattering crash of pavement that heralded his landing, but there was a loud clap as his shoes met the road and a startled yelp from the two startled EMTs who almost dropped the prone citizen they were loading into the back of their ambulance. Danny waited for the impact to shake out of his knees before giving them a friendly wave. "Yo." He said, walking to where he'd put his car. "Keep up the good work." He once again hefted the vehicle up onto his shoulder, thinking he should really ask that guy where the cheapest gas station was since he knew so much about the city. He truged past the EMTs, who to their credit seemed to recover much more quickly than a lot of people meeting Danny for the first time. "This is mine." He said, pointing to the car so that there would be no misunderstandings.

He made his way across the street to the opposite sidewalk whee he'd be more visible, stopping there and waving up at the crew still gathered on top, before swatting his hand forward in a "go on" gesture.

Levy only shook her head at the defensive words of the guy with colorful clothes. There was no use berating him about it since Pyro seems oddly chill (heh) at the situation. Besides, if it was really harmful, Pyro would’ve done something about it. A smile appeared on her face under the mask at the prospect of being given answers; then that smile was smeared off her face at the thought of following and climbing down those ladders again.

“Fuck.” She mumbled. Raising a single hand as the fog of darkness encircling it dispersed in the air, she spoke louder this time. “Yeah, I’m gonna be needing instructions. I just arrived here earlier. Landmarks are appreciated.” When she saw the large guy jump off the building, followed by the nervous yelp of some EMTs, she just sighed.

Levy just had to have faith that these collection of people that she’d be acquainted with would be gentler with civilians.

Pyro nodded her head once at Sammy, silently taking in the other's actions. As everyone confirmed their own plans, she turned to Ill Crovo with a slight glare. "I told you. I will explain. But not here. I will not put lives at risk by being so foolishly exposed. Join us if you wish to help, but stay away if you don't."

With that, she turned her shoulder to him and turned to Shaman, floating toward her unconsciously."I can give you a lift down from the building if you'd like. You can't be that heavy." She offered a hand to the woman, her feet hovering just off the roof as she looked back over her shoulder at Sammy. It was going to take a lot of explaining for him to understand what had happened. She certainly hoped it wouldn't affect him too hard.

"Sammy, will you show Crovo there the way? You have been there before with Witch? During one of the times she kept you from getting arrested?" Pyro gave him a wryly glance, as though daring him to deny that this situation had occurred in the past.

Ill Corvo nodded and turned to the one named Sammy,"Lead the way i can follow you..wherever this secret place is?" The lone vigilante spoke putting his weapons away since he would not need it around his new comrades. Although he was not one to have others or being in a group he wanted to know what was going on with this super.

“I…” Levy hesitated to accept the offer, her eyes drifting towards the creaky and rusty ladder before returning immediately at the extended hand of Pyro. Damn her stupid fear of heights. Well, it wasn’t really stupid since the memory of rusty stairs of an overpass while a train ran underneath too close for comfort made her freeze in place at times. Hyping herself up, she immediately gripped Pyro’s hand. “I will actually accept. If you don’t mind, just don’t go too high and just plop me gently down the ground. Please.”

Sammy thought for a minute before his face lit up. "Oh, I remember that place! It was your hideout?" He hadn't even considered that, to be honest - a little more annoyed that his 4th of July prank hadn't worked out. They'd taught in school that "sorry" went a long way, but apparently that stopped applying the moment you wanted to have a little fun with the fireworks. Though in Sammy's defense, he didn't know his poison was also highly flammable. At least Witch had been understanding. She also seemed sad, though. He still didn't know why.

He glanced at Il Corvo. Well, at least the guy was chilling out now. And all the sharp weapons away. That was good. "Yeah, and we'll also get Frankenstein. He... had a plan." His voice dropped off a bit, but no - had to lead the way. Pyro was actually asking him to help, and it was real! And if nothing else, she knew what happened to Witch. "To the fire escape!" It'd be quicker than taking the stairs inside, and, well, the elevator was boring. And he always seemed to get in trouble for clicking the buttons repeatedly, even when he was wearing gloves. Hoping Il Corvo was following, he jumped over the edge of the roof onto the fire escape, taking the steps two at a time. The speed probably wasn't such a good idea. Apparently, one of the residents on the second floor saw the fire escape as a great place to keep some potted plants, and Sammy didn't even notice until his foot caught on it, turning him around and disorienting him. The railing was high, yes, but with that momentum, he slid right over.

And yet still managed to stick the landing. His shins ached, but he checked, and he hadn't broken a single bone. He let out a whoop and went out to meet Frankenstein - "Come on, this way!"

Boy, was he lucky sometimes.

Ill Corvo soon followed behind Sammy making sure to keep up with him and keep him in his sights. Moving down the fire escape with the other super making their way to the streets below cracking his neck while his eyes were looking to the one named Frankenstein from under his mask."What the fuck?" The vigilante thought to himself rising a brow and shaking is head thinking that this night could not get more freaky then it already has.

The masked hero was going to keep following the supers to their so called "Hideout"."Hello" Was the voice coming out of the crow mask addressing the hulking figure in front of him.

"Yo, what's up?" Danny replied before following Sammy, car bouncing on his shoulder. "Nice landing."

"Thanks! I'm pretty good at that kinda thing!" He puffed his chest up in a moment of pride, even if it wasn't technically true. When it seemed like he was trying to stay upright, it was all going to go wrong - but instead, by leaving it to chance, things went a lot better for him. "So Pyro told me to lead the way, turns out last year's 4th of July incident was when she took me back to their secret base." He grinned. "So I do know where it is!" He glanced at the EMTs and shrugged. Those people were fine, and once they figured out it was him, they'd have everyone back up in no time flat. One of the advantages to recurring pranks and/or arrests. "But yeah, let's go!"

"I am fine...let' go..." Corvo said speaking to Sammy now wanting to go someplace safe for the time being.He for some reason felt very unsafe out in the open street so he needed to be in the shadows or a building where he could hide.Although personally he would not usally interact with other supers but he needed to trust someone at least.

As soon as shamans feet touch the ground her phone instantly begins to buzz.

"Who's ya friend?" Kain's playful voice impatiently crackles over the line. There was a constant undertone of soft wind steadily flowing through the speaker. Kain's occasional voice was prominent over it, yet slightly muffled and echoey as if his own phone was distanced from his mouth.

"Not the rag-tag group falling down the stairs. " Kain says, almost as if in reply to Levy looking around. "but I do gotta say, initiation seems to have become pretty lax for the guild. You guys must be gettin desperate."

There's a pause and a distant shuffling before Kain's voice returns.

"Small talk aside, is that her? The girl from the video?"
