Unless I'm mistaken, if two people bid the same amount, we roll and the higher roll wins the bid. But as you've outbid me and the other person who went for two, it won't be necessary.

Love the quote in your signature, by the by, I think it's from one of his talks about his early life.

Yes - I understand that. That was my equivalent of blowing a raspberry at you.
Damn, love the quote - and the design. Snazzy sig.

And now I look both foolish and condescending. Well player sir, well played.

And thanks, I couldn't pick any single quote from Good Omens so I made a bunch and put them on a rotator.

It could hardly have failed with those two at the helm. They said they planned to write another one, one day.

What could've been, I suppose.

That, sir, is how I internet (although it just happens accidentally most of the time...). I apologise for making you appear a fool.

Oooooh, how do you make a rotator?

@Mae of course it is, it was written by Pratchet and Gaiman

That should go without saying. Twice, if at all possible.

@Roosan - I am loving the title that goes with the quote. Aziraphale is such a brilliant character, and a perfect balance to Crowley.

I use sig.grumpybumpers.com for mine but I know there are a lot of sights that can provide one. They're pretty easy to make, though they work best if all the images are the same size.

So I can't be sure which title or quote you're referring to but I agree, a great balance. I always got the feeling that Aziriphale and Crowley were based on the authors themselves, with Gaimen being the cool, slick bad boy and Pratchett the more reserved, studious one.

Good omens was actually the first Gaiman book I ever read, the first Pratchet book I read was the first Discworld book (like to start series at the beginning) and the only discworld book I haven't read so far is steam or whatever English title the very last one has

I've personally read around 6 or 7 Pratchett books, and only one Gaiman one.

@Mae - Wouldn't mind a filler text for flavour, if that's alright with you. When can we add points to our rolls? Can we do that after we've rolled?
