Personality: Miralis is overly protective of her subjects and those that worship her , receive protection in caves and such. No harm may befall those that enter the Underground.

Symbol: A serpent that eats its own tail.

Method of Worship: Miralis is worshiped only by those that live in the underground ( similar to the Dwarfs for reference ). Those that worship her pay her tributes every 7 days. The tribute itself is either a creature that dwells in the Underground or a living sacrifice.

Civilization Name : The Undergrounders

Description of the race : The Unders are strange race. They are more worm than humanoid in nature. Having 8 legs and 6 arms with big claws , they are the uncontested rules of the underground. They are big creatures ( around 2.5 meter adult ) with 16 eyes put on their bodies. Always moving , always twitching.

Strengths: Living in the Underground most of their lives , the Unders are strong and a hardy folk. They have thick skin and natural weapons ( claws ).

Weaknesses: Light : Most Unders cannot see in the light or are temporary blinded by it.
Not being accustomed to the diseases of the Surface world , their bodies have a natural weakness to poison.

Economy/Industry : Main resource is metal and ore found in the underground. They are more a urban race than an agricultural one.

Buildings :
Hatchery ( the name says it all ) : The building itself is a hole in the ground with eggs that are heated using volcanic energy
Tribe main building ( The Mind ) : The building is constructed using stones found in the underground. The place itself is small as The Unders have a hive mind and they don't need a leader. The Queen is the one that makes more of them.
A Resource Building ( The Trap ) : The Unders mostly eat meat that they get from the creatures in the underground. The building is made of stone as all the buildings of the Unders are and acts as a beacon for creatures to come and feast. As soon as creatures enter the building , the Unders trap and kill them using a part of their meat to attract more creatures.

Personality: A neutral peaceful goddess with a levelhead, she nurtures her Beloved race and see's them as her children.

Method of Worship: There are no religious structures in the Fenn Dweller realm, bar a few small shrines here and there - simplistic things made of stone and earth and moss and wildflowers that blend in with the forest. Most worship takes place during spiritual festivals, where Fenn Dwellers dance among the trees, ushering in a new year or saying their goodbyes to the last year past.
There are four major festivals a year:

+ Winter Solstice: A festival of renewal
+ Summer Solstice: A festival of life and light
+ Autumn Equinox: A time to give thanks, extra food is usually speant.
+ Spring Equinox: A fertility festival usually accompanied by a baby boom.

Race Name : Fenn Dwellers
What Race is it : Also known as forest spirits, they come in all shapes and sizes, often with antlers or horns atop their heads. Sometimes they have cloven hooves, barky skin, tails or animal parts mixed into their anatomy - a lanky creature with the tale of a lion here, a small beast with the legs of a goat there. They are often covered in moss, mushrooms, foliage or undergrowth, and it is not unusual to see them surrounded by animals or insects living among their hair.

Strengths: Powered by sunlight and water, in dire situations they can reproduce asexually to survive.
Weaknesses: Fire

Economy/Industry: The Fenn Dwellers are interested in nature, their main exports being food and sustainable lumber, gifted by their forest home.

Buildings:
The Sacred Grove: Where mating rituals are performed causing pods to form around the forest.
The Great Tree: The Village Elders mould themselves into the Great tree, so they may commune with the forest and the flow of life itself to guide them.
Bud of Life: A giant flower bud half submerged in a lake, it is only accesible through the top. Within the walls are covered wall to wall with glowing golden plants; who's nectar is luminescent and who's taste is famed to be the sweetest on all the world.

Method of Worship: The Wise-Man desires little in the form of worship. Three times a day for reflection and meditation.

Muliods

Race Name : Muliods

Description: Muliods are large than humans on average, the shorter ones standing at 6 feet and the largest at 9 feet when adults. They are humanoid in appearance, with the exception of an additional pair of arms, about in between the shoulders and the waist. This extra pair of arms is slighter smaller and used for tasks requiring finesse or polite gestures. The larger, significantly stronger upper arms, are used for hard work, though both sets of arm may be used simultaneously. Their skin pigment is a dark green generally associated with that of orcs, though naturally the color varies slightly from individual to individual.

Strengths: Muliods are naturally large and powerful, in addition to an extra set of arms that allows them to do many things faster and more effectively.

Weaknesses: Muliods have require more food then an equally portioned race to run their strong, multi limbed, bodies.

Economy/Industry : Muliods rely primarily on agriculture, though they have some skill in the finer arts and tool making.

Buildings

Nusury: A fairly large building near the center of any group of Muliod buildings. It's made out of wood and mud and partly underground.

Council Room: Perhaps the largest building, it is a large circular room with a stone table at the middle where the tribe leader and his council meet.

Farms: Surprisingly large plots of land dedicated to farming of various crops. Each of these has a storehouse close to it. Additionally some Muliod keep smaller farms by their houses.

Trial Stones: A set of small stone tables that allow Muliod's to arm wrestle with both arms simultaneously.

Domain: Bravery, the Hunt, Obsession, Success

Alignment: Neutral-Evil
Personality: Goddess of the hunt and bestow-er of strength in all forms. She offers shelter to those blessed with her image. Arguably one of the most active gods in the realm, she believes there must be blood for blood and that what is taken must be given in time. In addition, her jealousy is unlike that of any other god in the sense that she desires all to worship her. Nothing may be wasted as it would offend her.

Method of Worship: Preferred patrons- The Web Singer is a primarily race worshipped goddess but has been worshipped by those of a more hungry appetite for success. Her blessings and presence range from all forms of bravery to all forms of strength. The bard that sings the best of songs or the chief that owns the most territory often are seen as her preferred subjects. That said, she isn't exclusive to those that are successful or blood thirsty. She is akin to a wish giver in the sense that she helps the obsessions of those that worship her to come true.
Offerings- Among those that worship her, prayer and sacrifices are proclaimed as vital. This is true to a degree. From every obsession taken from another in death, she can grow stronger. Like a goblet half full of wine, she always seems calm with what she has and yearns for more. By helping those that feed her she can obtain greater feeds and larger numbers. However, the sacrifices don't always extend directly to lives. If it were a successful hunt, her faithful must leave the heart behind for the earth to consume once more. If a bard created a beautiful melody, he must play it for her before anyone else or leave a portion of his earnings behind to help someone else's desires.
Places of worship- The Websinger's ideal shrine is within the heart of the greedy or the minds of the honourable. She requires no temple as all who worship her are in their own way a temple. Prayers consist of asking her for what it is you seek and thanking her without receiving your obsession.

Race Name: Arachine
Description of the race: The Arachine are a unique race in their outward appearance. The most eye catching feature of the Arachine would be their entirely different physiques from what the global norm may be. Rather than appearing as a solid flowing creature, one half abruptly ends where the other begins. They possess the torso and pelvic region of a human but their body branches of from where the average buttocks would be into the abdomen and thorax of a spider would be. This strange design is astonishing as it also means they possess both reproductive system of an average humanoid and the reproductive system of the average arachnid.
They come in a variety of colours which might astound the other races they come across. These colours are often dark and provide a form of camouflage to allow for easier hunting of their prey. The main colours of the Arachine's spider lower sections are often black or brown with a second colour combination. This does change however at a rapid rate if a member of the Arachine species is exposed to extremely cold or hot climates such as mountain peaks or desert plains. Their fur will go a paler colour in cold environments and will take a more golden wash in hotter environments. This allows them to achieve the best they can for hunting as many of them rely on ambush methods to successfully hunt.
The upper section of the average Arachine holds a grey skin but has occasionally been known to come in pale blues or dark browns. Again, their colouring all depends on their environment. They possess only two arms which seem mostly ineffective as they only reach comfortably mid way down the femur of their front two legs. Facial wise they only possess two eyes but hold them to be a much smaller size. These eyes also reflect light, making them seem a golden colour but giving them a form of night vision in exchange for a lack of colour.

Strengths: The Arachine have the most versatile reproductive system and thus would deem it to be their ultimate strength as they rely heavily on large numbers in combination with stealth tactics. In addition, the Arachine can climb near vertical surfaces with ease and naturally lay their own web snares to hunt prey easily. These web snares are naturally adhesive and rely on the prey to struggle which allows them to get themselves tangled more in the webs, making it impossible for an escape. (Not impossible to leave, just impossible for the common deer to struggle its way out.)

Weaknesses: The Arachine's greatest weakness is in their armour. They lack any form of natural armour short of skin/fur and thus are easily damaged in combat. Pinpoint pressure can cause serious amounts of damage. In addition, their complicated set of internal organs are more likely to cause fatal injuries if ruptured. Making them easier to kill in individual combat scenarios if the Arachine fails to achieve the drop on their target.

Economy/Industry: Arachine are an urban species that rely on tight compact areas. They delve more into the finer things in life than the requirements of life. They produce large amounts of silk and if trading with another group is a must, would offer instruments and silk fabrics for clothing.

Buildings:
The Webwork- The Webwork is the Queen's seat. The Arachine can be located in any region but the queen will always take a position underground where she can lay may series of webs for detection. The webwork is the web series that expands over the entire region of her hive/colony and when touched allows her to direct her hive. All structures of the hive/colony MUST be connected to the Queen's webwork. If they aren't, the structure can be confused as rival and may be torn down.
The Hatchery- As the name would imply, this is a 'building' where the eggs are nurtured and hatched. The design itself is unlike the other Arachine structures as this structure is placed on a ceiling surface. Often maintained by the lighter Arachine, web slings hang from the the ceiling web net and hold up to five bunches of eggs at one given time (7 eggs in a bunch). Once hatched they will either be fed and raised to full maturity or, if deformed, will be killed and used as food for the other hatchlings.
The Eyes- A strange structure of the Arachine, the eyes operate as both bunks for guarding Arachine and phone lines for hunters/gatherers. The eyes are located externally to the hive and usually find themselves in strange locations that are well concealed. These locations can be used to send web vibrations back and forth from Queen to guard or collectors to Queen.
Method of making more of their kind: The Arachine lay eggs in general but can produce live birth if they are the last of their species in a specific area. These half Arachine tend to be abnormal creatures and look nothing like either race but do possess many traits of both. The race they breed with has to be humanoid to some degree as they cannot breed with a common elk and expect a child.

Ashkar

Title: Ashkar

Appearance: Ashkar rarely appears in full form as he is often at task around the world. When he does appear, he is often accompanied by tornadoes or in the calm of a hurricane eye. He appears as a translucent towering giant, robed only in clouds. He has twelve mouths, each a direction of the wind that speak in chorus, shining white eyes and a strong equine nose.

Domain: Winds, Storms, Rain, Mountains, Valleys

Alignment: Neutral

Personality:As fickle as his dominion he can also be very stubborn. He has many secrets and a raging temper.

Symbol: Three horizontal lines with a circle on the top and bottom.

Method of Worship: To honor Ashkar, followers walk traditional and sacred paths along steep cliff walls, into valleys and across plains. Some of these journeys take weeks, with some followers perishing along the way. There are thousands of songs, chants and prayers that are recited/played at different altars along these sacred paths. Offerings at these altars include burning incense and herbs. Some tribes commit there dead at the altar and leave the bodies for carrion birds in a ritual called a Sky Burial.

Prayers to Ashkar mostly ask for favorable winds (metaphorically and literally) in certain ventures, business and otherwise. Ashkar is not feared per say, but rather understood as having great power and capable of destroying crops and cities in the form of storms, hurricanes etc.

Race: The Garuda

Race Name: The Garuda

Description:
The Garuda are a humanoid people of the plains, valleys and mountains spanning dozens of tribes and sub-ethnicities. They take their name from an ancient (and probably mythical) mountain called Garuda, the palace of the god of Wind & Storm, Ashkar.

The Garuda are dark complected, with black to light brown hair, large facial features and short stature. They are close to nature, living harmoniously with the creatures of the plains, mountains and valleys they inhabit, but wary of other races.

Strengths: The Garuda are great hunters, trackers and fighters.

Weaknesses: Fighting among the Garuda tribes is common, often over resources or for some honor debt. They also have a very low population over a great area with a low birth/survival rate.

Economy/Industry: The Garuda are traders, trappers and hunters. They use a large variety of animals and animal-by-products. Smoking, curing meat. They keep sheep and cows, hunt bear, deer, wolves, foxes, rabbits etc. They are great fisherman and are excellent guides through mountains and valleys.

Buildings:
The Valley: While not a building (in game terms) the Valley is a communal location for any/all of the tribes to gather as needed. Resources are collected here and can be fortified in case of attack. Basically where all the buildings (in game terms) will be constructed, as the Garuda are technically nomadic in nature.

Wind Altar Atop the sacred mountain near the Valley. Central location of worship, the central hub for all of the 'sacred paths' and primary burial site.

Smoke House Meat and fish are gathered and preserved here for the winter months.

Forge Not much here yet, but a fire is always burning. Crude stone tools and weapons are fashioned here.
