The Erkotek and Korr have evolved to become a codependent being -- The Erkotekorr.
The Erkotekorr attracts flies and other small prey with its sap, while hunting larger prey with its single, powerful claw.
The Grintep have begun to use crude tools to scrape bark off of trees and ward off predators.
The water has become more nutrient-rich and now hosts a variety of insectoid life.
The Iwog have evolved filters over their mouths to sift through the sand for seaweed.
A new species known as the Roggan has evolved, which hunts mostly Grintep and young Erkotekorr.

The Grintep have evolved bigger brains and the mental capacity to construct.
They have begun to create stone dams to raise Iwog for food and thin wooden fences to keep out predators.
The Erkotekorr has evolved to fuse the minds of the two beings, and has become more intelligent.
The Iwog have become tastier and more docile.
The Roggan has become quicker and capable of killing and devouring a fully-grown Grintep.
The Sent have evolved tail-barbs to collect and consume algae as they swim.
The water has become thicker with microscopic algae.
