THIS IS STILL OPEN FOR NEW MEMBERS!!!!!

Genre: sci-fi and adventure

Setting: You're in an uncharted island off the coast of Eastern Canada in the Atlantic ocean. The island has no vegetation, animals, or anything living besides anything associated with the AISE (Association of Illegal Scientific Experiments). This place is made entirely of stone, dirt, and metal. The weather is most often gloomy and cold, rarely ever a ray of sunshine touches the hard chilling ground. Life on the island is anything but exciting; it's dull, and there's never really anything much to do. The AISE's goal is to take children from their homes when they're young and bring them to this facility where they raise them to be strong and raise them as an army to take over the world, holding two things to the AISE's ultimate advantage: they are children, no army of soldiers would attack them, and they have special abilities, given to the kids through experiments done by scientists at the AISE. However the children are not taught the ways of any of the outside world, for what's the point? You're never going to leave anyway. Ever. This is where you will stay for the rest of your life. You'll never go back to your old life again....If you even had one.

And here's the map:

~~~~~~~~~~
Your character: You are a child or teenager, 6-18 years of age. You have been assigned a number (ex. 24601[anyone get that reference? :p]). The clothes you have to wear are gray, black, or white, the occasional navy blue. You have been experimented on when you were first brought here and depending on when you came, you may or may not remember your life before here... if you had one. These experiments gave you abilities including you being extremely intelligent; your brain works like a calculator to solve even the most complex equations within seconds. Everything you do is what the AISE tells you to do and you never protest. They have taught you of nothing but their perspectives on politics and war. Education and combat skills are essential if you want to survive here. Regularly, after the age of 11 you are tested every year. These tests are sometimes deadly, and they get more and more dangerous as you get older. The scientists test your mental capabilities, physical abilities, and intellect. However if you don't pass, you are sent back to the lab to be experimented on more, and its painful, agonizing and tiring, dealing with too much fatigue to even think about trying to get out of the laboratory. And of course, there's never a guarantee you'll come back out.
~~~~~~~~~~

Opening for child (6-11) : you have been brought to this strange place. Nothing is familiar, everything is different and it's dark and cold. "I don't like it here! I want to go home!" You tug on the side of an official's coat. "Shut up, kid. You're not going back so don't ask!" He snapped. You're tired and in no position to argue. You go to the corner of the ship and sit down. You don't understand what's going on, who these people are, or where your going. Finally you reach the island and you stare at it. It's a dull, lifeless place. Just then you feel a sudden stabbing pain in your arm. You look over and see a needle and then you black out.... The next morning, or so you thought it was, you woke up in a cell. There's something you're forgetting but you're not sure what. You shrug and go on with your normal daily routine. Wait. How do you know how to do all this? You guess you just kinda know. Like instinct you guess....

~~~~~~~~~~
Opening for regular teen (12-18) : Ugh, another boring day... You get ready like usual and head out to the dining hall for breakfast. You see a bunch of young new children that seem to be slightly confused. new kids... I hope they're doing okay... you think to yourself, feeling a pang of sorrow and you frown. This place is terrible, you're lucky you still remember your past, but not everyone is immune to the injection to wipe your memory clean. Since the many years you've been here, the AISE has advanced in technology, making the children more and more brainwashed to think they're doing good. You sigh, I wish there was some sort of group... A rebellion... To stop all this madness! But there wouldn't be enough of us... We couldn't possibly have a way to get away from here... but little did you know there was. And they were scattered around the facility. A secret group. But you didn't know and you never found out.
~~~~~~~~~~

Opening for rebel (10-18) : You walk with your head low, glaring at everything. Hating this place. Everything looming around you was suspicious. Anything. Any ideas at all. Anything that could possibly help us escape. You try to come up with something as usual, it's part of your daily routine. It seems that it's the only thing you ever do, think, train, eat, sleep, and repeat. You crave more knowledge about the AISE, maybe then you'd have enough information to come up with some crazy idea that could actually work to get you and your friends out of this place. But for now you don't know enough. You can't know. And it frustrates you. This place is unjust, unfair. You walk by another kid and you exchange glances. They're also part of the rebellion, but you keep walking. You can't risk letting anything slip. You continue on your way to the dining hall where breakfast was served, but you couldn't help but wonder where the other member of the rebellion was going. You risked a look back but they had vanished... Oh well, guess I'll ask at the next meeting if I remember you shrugged it off and continued on your way. To where exactly? You had no clue.

~~~~~~~~~~
Abilities: The children have been genetically altered or modified, so now they have special abilities. Most of these abilities has something to do with the mind, weather it be trickery or manipulation or illusions. For example, some can give the illusion they are invisible by making others purposefully not notice their presence. Others have physical abilities, like strength, speed, resistance to heat/cold, etc. Whatever the ability is, it's pretty cool. Be original! Extreme fatigue and weakness is caused if the ability is overexerted. They'll need a lot of time to rest before using their abilities again if they were overused.
One thing to note: there's a difference between powers and abilities, for example controlling fire(all elements really) is a power, being able to withstand heat is an ability. Keen senses is an ability, being able to manipulate the matter of your body to become dense/less dense to phase through objects is also an ability. Flying is a power, x-ray vision is an ability and there are limits to it. Etc.etc.
So to be clear, it is an ability that the kids have. Not a power.
~~~~~~~~~~

AISE Rules (can be broken)

•No attempting to leaving the island

•Do not defy or refrain from following through with instructions given by officials and high authorities

•Romantic affairs are forbidden

•Rebellious behavior is not allowed

•All subjects are expected to report to classes daily

•No one shall be out of their cells past 9:00 sharp every night. No excuses.

•Pranks and practical jokes will result in fixing damages and spending 3 hours of their daily free time in service for officials for a week.

•Mockery of the AISE is strictly prohibited

•Insolence and defiance of these laws and procedures will result in unrestricted punishment and disciplinary actions will take place.

(I can't think of any more for now but I will definitely add more later!)
Rules for OOC

•Please no perfect characters! (i.e. She was very beautiful and all the boys had a crush on her. She could control all the elements and manipulate people and be able to control them.)

•In the password section put something creative (but lets agree to never be creative again) related to the first reference, if you understood the first reference. If not then the second reference that I just made in this section of the rules. And if you didn't understand either(I'm so sorry if you didn't) the first one is from Les Miserables, the second is Don't Hug Me I'm Scared (DO NOT WATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY) and instead just put “Mind Games” in the password section. I know you're probably thinking “what the heck why do I need to do this?” well the answer is because some people don't actually read everything and just start to RP and then just kind of mess up a lot and then I have to go and say “no your outfit cannot be pink, please read the front page” and it's just a whole thing to deal with that's kind of annoying. So I just want to make sure that you actually read everything... Wow this section is long... okay! Moving on!

•Romance is okay, but not try not to have too much unless it's plot relevant please...? This is an action and adventure RP, not some high school romance thing with vampires and werewolves.

•No being mean/judgmental/rude to other people OOC because there is no room for that kind of ignorance here. If they are doing/saying something that you believe is wrong then tell them nicely or if what they're doing is irritating you then politely ask them to stop, however if it's something that goes against personal opinions/beliefs (for example the orientation of a character, if they decide to add that in the form) please please please keep those comments to yourself as there is ZERO tolerance for discrimination of any kind; you guys can figure this out, I'm sure c:

Just some things about the RP you might want to know, but it's not necessary to read before RPing or anything so you don't have to read this part if you don't want.

1. This RP is based off a novel that I'm currently in the process of writing and I would appreciate it if you didn't steal any ideas and claim them as your own.
2. I DO plan on publishing the novel
3. If you like I can post up chapters once in a while
4. this is mainly to see how people like the idea of something like this and if people would actually read the novel
5. The first time I posted my idea was on another RP site, the Warrior Cats Forums that I used to RP on but if any of you knew me on there, my name was ȘħίɱɱεરȘτλર
6. There might be some errors and for that I am truly sorry ^_^''

Characters:

Screen Name : Naveah
Character Name : Celeste Sheinora
Gender: Female
Age : 19
Appearance : Her skin is rather pale, as she spends most of her time in the underground secret base of the Rebellion, and she has a few freckles on her nose. Her expression always seems stern and serious, rarely does she ever smile. She has medium length light brown hair that's always put up in a pony tail or bun to keep out of her face. Her eyes have a cold staring look to them, as if distrusting or suspicious; they're a hazelish-blue color with flecks of green. She stands at about 5'9, being tall and slim, however you can see she's built strong and agile. The clothes she wears are a gray long sleeve shirt with a black sort of sash around her torso and she wears black leggings and combat boots. She has a belt around her waist with small pockets she uses to store useful tools that she had managed to steal from the AISE.
Personality : Will come off as stern and serious, that being the expression she most often wears. She never lets her guard down and is usually strict and narrowminded. Everything she does is to protect as many people as she can, to find a way off this island, and to get as much information she can from the AISE, making as much for them difficult as possible without letting them know she's there. Deep down, she's a compationate and caring girl, she only had to grow up too fast. She'd be willing to do anything to keep her companions safe and will stop at nothing to try and bring down the AISE.
History : Celeste has a long and complicated history with the AISE. She was brought here when she was 11 years old, taken away from her family, who were actually scientists themselves, though they had no idea what the AISE was capable of, so before she came to the island she was well-brought up in a nice home with a stable lifestyle. The AISE had tried to erase her memory when she was first brought here but they were unsuccessful. Growing up in the AISE she was definitely a troublemaker, always doing anything she could to give the AISE trouble, and they didn't take her rebellious behavior too well. At the age of 12 she had found out about the rebellion and she was one of the largest contributors to finding information and gadgets from the AISE. She was 15 when the first leader of the rebellion, the person who showed her the rebellion and was her best friend, was taken away for testing and never came back. She trusted him more than anyone, rumor has it even loved him. In his place, she became leader, and has been leading the rebellion strongly for 4 years and counting. But still, ever since he was taken away she was left heartbroken and vowed to herself she'd never let herself be attached to someone like that again, hence why she seems so closed off, always on guard. She promised herself that she would find a way to stop the AISE from everything they were doing or trying to accomplish by taking the children here and raising a super-human army. A year later, a week after her 16th birthday, she had gotten into so much trouble that the AISE wanted her dead. And boy, did they have a time trying to catch her. She never slept in her cell where she was supposed to, she slept in a hideout, made with things she'd found or stolen, but it was still much nicer than the cells. By now she'd uncovered too many secrets about the AISE for their comfort and they tracked her down, chasing her down towards the cliffs. She knew there was only one way to go from here. Only one way to escape, and that was to jump off. However, she had a plan. As she would jump off she would wait until she was almost within reaching distance with the sharp jagged rocks that the cold ocean crashed against. There was no way anyone could survive falling, that is, anyone normal. When she was sure they were watching her fall she disappeared as a shadow in time to maneuver herself to the cave at the base of the cliff. The officials chasing her didn't know about the cave, and they assumed it was a suicide, that she had died, so her plan succeeded. Ever since then she's taken refuge in the secret underground base of the rebellion, living her life in secret, while the AISE believes she's dead. And it's been 4 years since then, they probably wouldn't remember it recognize her if she did step foot outside, but still, it was too risky. She went down as a legend among the other children at the AISE who didn't know about the rebellion, just the girl who almost made it, just the girl who almost escaped, but somehow word of the rebellion never got out, and the people in it intended to keep it that way, especially the secret that the AISE's worst nightmare was still alive.
Rank : Leader of the Rebellion
Ability : Shadows. Basically creating illusions and trickery, "making" the shapes and creatures she creates out of shadows seem real and if she uses them to attack the opponent is likely to be actually affected by the shadow. She can also give the appearance of disappearing, making a shadow in her place so she can go about moving unnoticed.
She also has the ability of shadow travel, which allows her to move into one shadow to the next, within 10 feet of each other with the area of being able to fit herself into them.
Weakness : AISE's knowledge of her (makes more sense if you read History)
Physical Weakness: long distance attacks aimed for her and an opponent that can match her speed/agility in combat.
Number : 413
Other : the only person she's opened up to genuinely making an effort to care about is Mya, she's like a little sister to her.
~

~
~

Screen Name : Naveah
Character Name : Mya Sarynn
Gender: Female
Age : 12
Appearance : One thing about Mya, when you first see her, you might mistake her for a ghost out of the corner of your eye. Mya is a very small girl, but mode definitely doesn't look hopeless. Though she stands at 5'1 and is quite thin, she's definitely stronger than she looks. Her skin is a light cream color, very pale from lack of sunlight. Her hair is cut short, just above her shoulders and very blonde, almost white, it's slightly silvery at the ends, and this is an effect of the draining tests and experiments with her. Mya's eyes are a silvery-blue color, sort of cloudy and gray, as she is blind.
Personality : Mya is very timid and shy to others, and she often keeps to herself; isn't easy to trust anyone. Since she's blind she's always cautious and careful, however she does trip over things occasionally when she doesn't sense them, often making herself seeming clumsy to anyone who doesn't know her. Deep down inside she can be kind and if she does open up to you she must really trust you. The few friends she has, if any, she keeps close and would sacrifice anything to keep them safe. But she's not too introverted, she loves making new friends and will help anyone in need. Most of her time she spends at the training center, training for herself and helping younger kids who've been brought to the AISE.
History : Maia was 4 years old when her home burned down. Something happened during the fire that caused her to go blind, so she's been sighless ever since. Because of her experience with fire, she's extremely afraid of it. She was constantly being called worthless and unimportant by her parents because she was blind and wasn't able to do much on her own. She was brought to the AISE when she was 7 and was immediately taken in by Celeste, the leader of the rebellion. Celeste helped train her to find and use her strengths despite her weakness, one of the combat weaknesses they share. Mya looks up to Celeste and is the closest person she's had to a family. When she was first brought here, the AISE tried to get her sight back, as she was "imperfect" without it but to no avail. Her eyes used to be a bright electric blue, even when she was blind, but the experiments faded and clouded them.
Rank : Rebel
Ability : What she lacks in brawn is made up with agility and speed, being small allows her to really take advantage of a situation in hand-to-hand combat to slip away from an opponent easier. The ability she was given to by the AISE is keen senses, extraordinary hearing capabilities and smelling and touch/vibration sensitivity allows her to sense where people are or where something is if it's significant enough to stop a vibration of footsteps on metal. It's how she navigates around the facility and identifies where she is.
Weakness : Sight. She is blind, so long distance attacks don't end well for her unless she can hear them before they attack and she can move out of the way in time. With guns, she knows how to recognize what they are by the clicking noise it makes while being loaded. By then she knows that whatever she does she has to do fast or she won't be able to avoid it.
Number : 10024
Other : I'll probably add something later.

Screen Name : defineunique
Character Name : Doesn't remember. Everyone just calls her Watcher because that is what she does. Sits back and watches.
Gender: Female
Age : 18
Appearance : Long curly black hair with bangs over brown eyes and an oval face. She is thin to the verge of malnourishment with pasty white skin from lack of sunlight. She is much shorter than others her age. In fact, she doesn't look much different from the twelve year old girl brought to the facility six years ago. To those that didn't know she was a vet, they would assume she was a sickly child.
Personality : Quite and reserved, though, highly intelligent. She tends to sit on the outskirts of crowds rather than being involved, though she wishes others would invite her to sit with them. She has a serious nature and doesn't appreciate jokes to hardly any effect.
History : Watcher has been here for as long as she can remember, but as far as she knows, her life began at the age of twelve when she first stepped into the facility. She is a vet amongst the children, few older than she and none left from her entry group. Upon her entry, she was looked after poorly and was continually malnourished thanks to some obscure reaction to whatever drug they had pumped into her. As a result, her growth was stunted, and she maintains the appearance of a sickly twelve year old girl.
Rank : Teen
Ability : High observance. With this ability she notices nearly everything around her to the smallest detail.
Weakness : Very sickly. She has a crippling reaction to nearly every drug they test on her, yet, somehow she manages to pull through.
Number : 47564
Other : N/A

Screen Name : Side Character G
Character Name : Patrick Hogan
Gender : Male
Age : 11
Appearance :
Thanks to puberty being a lazy bum and seemingly have no intention of kicking into action, Pat has androgynous features in both appearance and voice. It's not like he gets mistaken for a girl though thanks to keeping his sable locks short but one cannot help but notice how much more his neck and fingers are slender and such if another boy his age was next to him. His skin is slightly darker than most of the test subjects that stayed cooped up in the shadows, though the lack of proper sunlight makes it barely noticeable.
His eyes habour a set of bright teal iris, arguably the only part of him with a decent colour. Interestingly the side of his eyes end in a sharpened elevated point giving off the impression of a permanent angry glare. The eyes, his ears and perhaps his brows are the only facial features one could make out of him; the lower half of his face, more specifically from one ear to another and following down the jawline is hidden beneath a metallic muzzle. It covers his mouth and nose completely with indents and air filters in such a fashion that could give the creeps to anyone looking at him. His permanent glare really doesn't help making this any better. At least it doesn't make his voice come out robotic or anything, just slightly muffled.
Measurement-wise he's not all that peculiar, standing 4'9 (~144cm) tall, 105.8lbs (~48kg) heavy, optimal vision and health.
As if to emphasize his manliness and show off his body Pat is usually topless, a worn and dirty vest at most followed by equally damaged shorts and shoes. On a much cooler or breezy days his wardrobe swaps the vest to a jacket but that's about as fashionable as he gets.
Personality :
His physical features usually give off a negative vibe to test subjects and members of the AISE alike, what with the muzzle and glaring eyes, and Pat easily lives up to that impression. He is strong for his age and aggressive especially during brawls or similar, failing to stay down even if the opponent overpowers him by a mile. It should be noted that this is not because he is a rebel or he hates anyone but rather because to him this form of 'communication' and 'self expression' is as normal as tossing a greeting or asking to be someone's friend. Over the time spent with the AISE and other test subjects however has decreased his habit of fist-talking-before-mouth-talking.
In truth Pat seeks the company of others a lot and loves chatting just as much as fist fights. He will take any chance to get close to others and to know them better whether by throwing hundreds of trivial questions or listening to rants or fighting in their stead or so on, exhausting every option he can think of in order to befriend them.
Pat has no real opinion about his current situation. Being the kind who focuses on what's happening around him now rather than the big picture, he's too busy fulfilling his desires, in most cases this would be having company to spend time with. Perhaps this is why he comes out as one of the dumbest of the intelligence-enhanced test subjects, as well as being very gullible; as long as it doesn't make him lose too many people to talk to, he is cool with going with the flow.
History :
In truth Pat wasn't all outgoing when he was brought to the island and got his ability; his facial features were as misleading from the start though. At least that's what he was told, and he saw no reason to doubt that. Truth be told he sometimes wondered if his name was his real name too but there's no reason anyone would lie, right?
He spent the first year on AISE mostly alone due to his ability, kept in a quarantined cell with hazard suited people coming in and out like some kind of sluggish aliens to bring food and do experiments. The experiments weren't all that horrifying though; just taking blood samples and injecting various agents. So yeah; not that horrifying, but a lot of needle shots. After the first couple months of blood samples and injections, the experiments changed; Pat was ordered to do exercises and marathons all day, every day to the point of exhaustion. Often times he fell right asleep on the quarantined training room instead of going back to his cell only to be shaken awake for the daily blood test followed by more hard exercises. It took him the rest of the year to realize the training was to raise his body temperature, making it a more ideal environment for the infectious agents to grow. Well, 'realize' may not be the right word for he was told that was the case.
He shared his cell with others for the first time after that initial year, the same day he was fitted with the muzzle. It felt weird at first, the cold metal distinct against his skin, the puff of air that gathered as they were filtered of agents before passing over. He was also overwhelmed by the fact that he was not alone and wanted to interact, but he remembered none of the skills of social interaction. That coupled with his features really took Pat's life upside down; the experiments were now conducted by new faces and face-to-face without a hazard suit in between; this caused misunderstandings with the experimenters and brought upon unnecessary precautions. Pat was bound painfully tight and with less care, at times treated like a piece of fabric requiring holes to some of the more sadistic experimenters or as punishment for 'looking at me that way'. There were more injured test subjects than friends too, resulting from his failed attempts.
Fast forward for a time to the point where the experiments and friend-making went on a few more times. He met a few who were willing to voice their opinions about bullying and making friends and adapted those values as much as he can. He made a few successful attempts at times, but his position in the AISE was still far from where he was aiming for.
Rank : Child
Ability :
Asymptomatic Carrier - When injected with an infectious agent such as virus or bacteria, Pat's body is capable of holding it in his body in such a way that won't infect him.
Pathogen Farm - Pat's body is capable of mass producing an infectious agent within his system.
Peculiar Chemical Composition - The chemicals in Pat's body is modified to make the best environment for agents to grow; examples include enhanced muscle growth for a better management of body temperature and prolonging major body changes or growths to keep an optimal and unchanging environment.
Ability Precautions
In order to prevent disasters from happening, there have been a few restrictions put up on Pat.
Transmission Methods - Pat is only capable of airborne transmission through the mouth and nose, and bodily fluid transmission; a modified muzzle has been issued to prevent airborne agents to leave Pat's body and is never to be taken off unless in a quarantined area.
Monitored sustaining requirements - Food consumption and going to the bathroom can only be done in a quarantined area accompanied by an authorized personnel due to transmission methods.
Word Trigger - In order to prevent his ability going out of control, Pat was given a way to stimulate his brain by voicing out what his system should do regarding his ability. For example if he said 'Infect myself with the cold flu', he will be infected by the cold flu. If he said 'Make more cold flu virus', then his body will do so. In that sense he is able to be infected or produce infectious agents only when stated.
Weakness :
Despite the intellignce enhancement, Pat is quite 'dumb'. Sure he can math in his head and recognize and name what bacteria he's dealing with from just its chemical composition or picture, but he fails to utilize or draw conclusions of the information at hand. He's also a slow learner and prone to make the same mistake multiple times.
Side effects occured with obtaining the ability
Fear of hot liquids - He will refuse to go anywhere near any hot liquid, including those in a cup.
Fear of fire - Just the sight of fire can cause Pat to panic and run away to the opposite direction.
Fear of direct sunlight - Minor case, and only with intense sunlight. Luckily(?) there's no place this category falls into in the island. Or is there...
Number :
63876
Other :
The muzzle requires authorized AISE code to take it off. Attempts of tampering will cause the muzzle to set off an alarm and ultimately a sedative which will render Pat unconscious.

Screen Name: tathgon
Character Name:/ Issac Zattello
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Appearance: Issac wanders the island in his dreary grey outfit watching over the many teens and children who stay here. He stands at a measly 5'2, weighing no more than 140lbs. His dirty blond hair has been kept short, trimmed to keep it out of his eyes. He seems to always be in cheerful spirits, attempting to bring up the spirits of those around him. However, he is heavily scarred by the amount of corporal punishment he takes upon himself to prevent others from having to undergo that torment.
Personality: Kind and compassionate towards those that he meets and interacts with, Issac only wishes that life could be different and that the people that he met here would be friends with him if they had met in a place other than here.
History: The history before the island is a blur. The initial vials of compounds were effective at eliminating what memories of life before the experiments was like. Living, if that's what you'd like to call his existence, was day to day torture. The Officials have referred to him as the "Shield of the Weak" because of Issac's tendency to try and take on others punishments. This has become a beacon of hope for others, but also a weakness for Issac.
Rank: Teen
Ability:
- Healer's Hand: Issac has the ability to relieve pain due to physical injury and can completely mend smaller wounds such as minor cuts and scrapes.
- Regeneration: Issac has increased stamina levels and recovers much faster from fight ending blows.
Weaknesses:
- "Shield of the Weak": Issac, when overhearing a situation in which someone would receive corporal punishment, will step in and attempt to take that punishment in their place.
- Darkness: Issac has a crippling fear of the dark. This fear has only grown as he spends time on the island.

Character Name : Rose Foster

Gender: Female

Age : 15

Appearance : Starting from her knee length dark gray skirt, and baggy lighter gray shirt, one can tell that Rose’s appearance is quite bland. Not only her clothing, but her empty, emotionless face expressions can do the trick as well. Her pale blue eyes are always drifting off into random places, like Rose is constantly daydreaming. Rose has short, straight, dirty blonde hair falling down without care or interest, and she’s about 5’8 height wise.

Personality : Rose isn’t one to express emotion very much; maybe even at all. At this point, Rose hasn’t found any reason to, so she just figured “What’s the point.” She began to think that with a lot of things once she was tested on multiple times. Now, if someone gave her any sort of order, Rose would just follow that order. Whether it’s getting them some food, walking away, or stabbing a knife through her stomach, she sees no point in saying no; one could even say her actions and attitude towards life is robotic. Although, she has a habit of rambling on with other thoughts if that person she’s rambling to doesn’t mind. Rose often wonders about things such as the outside life, what it’s like to be other people, what happens after people die, things she’d never be able to figure out entirely. In the end, however, Rose does have certain opinions on things, but they mostly come out to be negative.

History : N/A

Rank : Teen

Ability : When focusing hard enough on her surroundings, Rose has the ability to make herself the colors of what’s around her in order to blend in. Almost like a chameleon.

Weakness : Rose isn’t exactly what people would like to call “Strong.” A lot less than the average strength she should have.

How do you feel about a character that has a foggy recollection of her past, yet, recognizes that something is very sketchy about this facility? I'm thinking she would be one of the child origin stories except now she is much older.

Okay, so I'm really sorry that I haven't been on, but I am really busy. Homework is piling up because I was sick for a while, then I keep making plans with my friends, and today is my Grandma's b-day but I just got home... I'll probably still take a while to respond.

Sure! that's great! If you want we could have her find out about the rebellion later on too? I'm thinking that people's characters could find out some how about the rebellion anyway, so to answer your question, yes.

okay! did you notice the changes I made to the forms and RP? if you want your characters to be accepted there's a few things that need to be changed. Also, it's fine if you havent been online, I haven't much either, but I actually am making up a bunch of work I missed because I was out of school for almost the whole week... Idk why but that seems to have happened to a lot of people I know. My other online friend was out all week sick too, so were 2 of my RL friends and another RL friend went on vacation for the week XD lost of coincidences lately haha!

Couple questions I found myself asking while writing up my CS.

-If the test subject don't remember anything, where did they get their names from, do the staffs/scientists/officials name them or something? Although that sounds very unlikely since they have their number/id.

-Do the staff/scientist/official/whatever who injected the ability to the test subjects have a vague if not precise idea as to what kind of ability they can expect from the test subjects?

-The way you wrote about each age group made it sound like every child rank are newcomers. Is that right or can we have a child who has been at the facility for a time before the rp beginning?

To answer your first question: that's actually a good question and I hadn't thought of it before, but I'm thinking probably that they would remember their names. The AISE only erased their memory of their past, however their way of doing that doesn't always work, some kids for one reason or another aren't affected at all by it. So the AISE doesn't completely wipe their memories clean... I guess kind of like the Maze Runner? The guy couldn't remember anything about his past except for his name. That's the best I can come up with for that.

Second Question: yes. They're constantly trying new chemical solutions for abilities. I'm going to write up a description on the scientists and officials to clear up any questions others might have on them.

Third question: of course you can! The child doesn't have to have just come here when the RP started, it's an option.

Hope this helped and any other questions you have I'll be happy to answer them ^_^

Screen Name : Crank

Character Name : Elliot Hartwright

Gender : Male

Age : 17

Appearance : Elliot is an odd-looking boy, perhaps having a bit of boyish charm, if one could get past his ability's side effects. Fluffy, disheveled, milky brown hair is atop his head, thick and cut a little below his hairline, attaining a moderate length. But honestly, he looks stranger when it's neat and done up nice. His face is thin in structure, but his smile is usually endearing and thrilled, teeth straight and the lips bordering it rather thin. His nose is sharp, it's bridge straight, holding a very slight upturn near the end. His eyes are wide, surrounded in light shadows and faded bags underneath from an immense lack of sleep. His irises have an odd coloring to them, a side effect of the tests the AISE has conducted on him - they have shifted from a once piercing blue {past} to a vibrant electric yellow {current}. His eyebrows are moderate thickness and his eyelashes are of moderate length.
Elliot stands at about 5'11, relatively tall for a young man his age, He's very lean and spindly - lanky arms, long, thin legs, deft hands with spidery fingers, a slender torso, a long neck. Muscle is a feature that is barely prominent on him; he's not ideal when it comes to strength. His complexion has grown right between fair and lightly tanned, since his time in the facility has lessened the amount of sunlight he once had available to darken him.
He usually is seen wearing simple gray T-shirts, sometimes fitting long-sleeved shirts {though he'll pull the sleeves up to his elbows habitually}. He wears skinny jeans coming in either black or a very dark navy blue.

Personality : Elliot is one of the most impatient, excitable, and uncontrollable balls of energy you may ever come to meet. He cannot sit still for a second - he always requires being on the move, whether it be fiddling with an object or pacing. He gets extremely impatient when people take their time on something that can otherwise be done very quickly, to the point of frustrated verbal outbursts, in fact. He doesn't take the time to think about his actions, and jumps into action the second his mind signals him to without taking into account what the consequences of his decisions will be. He is viewed as dangerously reckless in that aspect, having no noticeable ability to tell what's potentially harmful and what isn't, and not even seeming to care about those factors.
Whenever you make Elliot particularly angry - not irritated, that will only earn you some frustration, but actually angry - he'll reveal this side of himself that best should remain unknown. He can be sadistic, oddly enough. Vengeance is something he will fight to have if he feels he deserves it. They're characteristics that are quite seldom to see be revealed, but it's happened before. He has hurt or wounded scientists testing on him for intentionally hurting him and not apologizing afterward. He definitely isn't afraid to bite back if something bites at him.
But that should be kept where it's at. There's no need to go into deeper detail on what he does.
Anyways, Elliot can be quite a protective and amusing friend to be around, if you can get past the cons his ability presents to him. He tries his best to be nice and funny, and he has a curious streak in him that often leads him to make friends in the oddest ways. He's rather shameless, and has no concept of personal space. He doesn't get embarrassed easily at all, especially not towards strangers. The exception is if he has certain feelings for a certain person. But otherwise, he'll approach you without hesitation and start asking inquisitive questions about whatever he's curious of. He speaks rather quickly, so you'll have to keep up.

History : Quite blurry, but it's nothing special enough to mention. All he knows that he's a veteran of the facility, having been there for a couple of years and counting.

Rank : Teen. Has begun to sink into a rebellious mindset as he notices how unethical this testing is towards the other children of the facility.

Ability : Enhanced speed.
This term is rather vague when first put, and would seem pretty simple to some. But this does more than just enhance running speed. The following are the perks and pros of Elliot's ability.
-Enhanced running speed; has been tested to sprint to up to 67 mph. and counting as testing progresses.
-Enhanced reflex speed; can physically react far faster than a normal human can to a number of different situations/settings/etcetera.
-Enhanced self awareness; nearly impossible to physically take by surprise.

The following is a list of the disabilities and cons of Elliot's ability.
-Mental overactivity; Since he naturally moves very quickly and has a fast-paced mind, he becomes irritably impatient with slow-moving situations a lot faster than normal subjects.
-Natural overreaction/oversensitivity to surroundings; The smallest actions or movements can make Elliot react, and possibly incur accidental injuries of self or other individuals from reacting.
-Inability to focus; He has lost most of his ability to concentrate on one task/subject at a time.
-Physical overactivity; He cannot remain in one position for a prolonged expanse of time, and must have something to occupy himself constantly.
-Enhanced metabolism speed; He requires large portions of food in order to keep his energy level where it should be and his fatigue level low. He has gone nights where he cannot sleep a wink and nights where he'll have to be barked at by guards or scientists in order to be woken up. He tires with extensive, continuous use of his power, and needs breaks every so often to regain some energy.
These disabilities are currently being worked on by scientists to eradicate.

Weakness : His main, most crippling weakness?
Claustrophobia.
Even before the AISE stole him away, he was always afraid and anxious when in tight or small spaces. Keep him somewhere stuffy and uncomfortably small, and he'll react in one of two ways:
-Fall into a panic attack and begin to hyperventilate.
-Try violent attempts to escape, usually resulting in personal injuries or destruction of surroundings.
He has to be subdued with sedatives whenever certain testing takes place to either calm him down or force him to go unconscious. Physical testing is the only exception to this rule of sorts.

Screen Name : Watcher

History (optional) : Watcher has been here for as long as she can remember, but as far as she knows, her life began at the age of twelve when she first stepped into the facility.

Okay! Awesome character! But I have one thing that might need to be changed... The fact that he's 11 and already has muscle like that is kind of, well, a bit more unrealistic than I had hoped this RP would stray from, even taking into consideration the exercises he's been doing so maybe change the age to a little older? Because it would be literally impossible for a child his age to perform those tasks, so unless one of his abilities was also stamina/physical endurance then I'm afraid you might have to change that. It's certainly something that can be added though so you wouldn't have to change anything else.

To be fair i've... never seen anyone with actual muscles in real life so I've no idea how much is too much. Would it be okay if you tell me which parts sound unrealistic so that i can change those bits? I wanted to roleplay a young but strong character, though not inhumanely strong which apparently I failed in depicting.

If that is too much of a bother than no probs, I can come up with a completely new character any time. It's just that the ideas I'm coming up with tends to be 'passive abilities' so to speak and has absolutely no relation to the mind [such as being able to live without needing basic needs or something] which seems weird in a roleplay named 'Mind Games'.

Oh that's alright! You don't really have to change the appearance at all, it's fine, just a suggestion really! It probably won't matter much anyway ^_^ do whatever you like :3

Well I was going to wait for more people to join first, and I'm also still working on character sheets for my own characters. I'm not sure how all of you RP, it seems a lot of people have different styles so we can either do it this way, where we RP as a whole, a group, all going through the same events at once. Or we could RP seperately, like one RPs with another just in the same setting for example, lets say you and I were to roleplay our characters interacting while someone else is RPing with another person and they all never interact... There's many ways to RP and once we get enough characters I'd like to see how this all plays out :3 I'm sorry if this is taking so long. ^_^''
