Hey. I am trying to get back into roleplaying, and I was wondering if you guys would let me try to coach my way in here. I have only ever been able to play an advanced game twice, and it has been a very long time since them, over three years, but I want to be able to go back to that level. I will try my best to keep to the level you all hope to get from anyone in the Advanced category but I can not promise that is what I can match, but there is no way to advance my skill without pushing myself.

I'm always trying to better my writing, I may not be the greatest writer but I'm always getting better and that's the important part, that you're willing to try and be better. In fact I don't think anyone considers their work the pinnacle of perfection. Read the rules, and design your character with those in mind. We're always accepting new players.

Tbh, the only way in my mind is to get back to that level is through practice. We have already two players trying to reach that level themselves and get better with their writing, though it's a slow process.

The positive perk, Advance tends to be at a slower place which is nice and doesn't make you feel like you need to rest. Here we value quality over amount, as you'll see a few posts being a paragraph or so in length instead of the basic required 4. Besides, as long as you're enjoying your writing or the scene, I don't think amount really matters much.

I think it's a challenge for everyone on a bad day to write a good post as I've had my fair share of bad days and couldn't write crap. Granted, every day is different and that's not always the case. I just hope you have more good days than bad.

Nope. Nitemare shape is pretty lax in your PC creation as long as they don't break any key rules or are reality warping ones. We have characters from supernatural to mutants, from magical to technology base or natural gifts. We even had a few from the Pax event in chapter 1 that developed meta gifts. However, if you're not sure or worried about it then check with the GMs to be safe.

Our abilites only have a few key rules. No time bending, reality warping or cartoon physics and some such. The rules fo into a little more depth but anything goes. Even dumb powers like Belly Button lasers. As for power origins well we have everything from magic, to meta generatng bombs or just natural birth. Anything in comics can serve as a good base. Just make things different. We have Icon a Club owner Superman type, we have Speedsters, Aliens, Mages, Even Excalibur. So a lot can go. If you're unsure ask our GMS. And we also have a Discord if you want to join, I'm sure someone can drop a link.

@manapool1 Discord is like Skype. Pick a name and password and your set. Pretty much our new off topic chats. If you don't like weirdness than maybe Discord isn't a good idea. It's a Mess of Mayhem and foolishness. We're fun weirdos who chat too much about video games anime and well anything really.
