Can do. I was a little iffy about them myself. Figured I would at least test the waters though before committing. I'll go through and edit it down when I finish his history tonight. Much of what I got for his power I got from the superpowers wiki. A good resource for RPs like this.

Name: Adam Basset
Age: 51
Gender: Male
Appearance: Standing at a respectable 5'10” and weighing in at 148 lbs, Adam is a dignified persona. Though his scruffy black hair has been gray for years, it is always clean and neatly-shorn, though he does have slight sideburns. Bright, almost youthful brown eyes glint beneath bushy eyebrows, giving him a look that when coupled with a dry smile and a few laugh lines give him a visage of good humor. He also sports a long, straight nose and a marvelous cleft chin. The rest of him is unremarkable despite an obvious genetic predisposition for body hair. His favorite color, a forest green, is evident in his decidedly old-fasioned wardrobe, and he will often wear black or khaki slacks. A tiny pewter crucifix pendant adorns his neck and he's kept his father's dingy old pocketwatch in one pocket or another for years.

Superpower
Name of Ability: Psammokinesis
Description: Adam is able to create and manipulate sand and dust, either projecting it in an attack, creating defensive structures, or forming partially-sentient beings that can act on their own.
Level One Abilities: In its most untempered state, Adam's ability is fitful. Sand will appear in his hands, both when he wants it to and not, which can be controlled in an extremely clumsy and limited manner. Occasionally, when enough sand is formed, it will coalesce into a small construct that almost always acts of its own accord. A headache will develop if his abilities go unchecked.
Level Three Abilities: At this stage Adam can control his sand generation, able to make a lot in a short time and fire it off in blasts, though he is limited from. He can solidify it into rudimentary constructs and structures, though this is difficult.
Level Five Abilities: When mastered, Adam's ability is frightening. In the span of seconds he can generate vast amounts of sand from any part of his body and even a few feet away. A raging sandstorm isn't hard to come by, and if Adam tries, he can create an entire legion of reasonably intelligent but totally loyal sand soldiers to fight for him.
Weakness/drawback: Three noteworthy counters to Adam's power exist. Enough water will make his sand into mud, instantly nullifying its supernatural properties. Focused fire will fuse his sand into crude glass if its in a tangible form. Lastly, in cold conditions the sand practically turns to snow, halving its speed and its usefulness. In early stages, his untempered power can make everyday activities unpleasant.

She only stands about 5'3 and weighting roughly 110lbs. It is common to see her with her hair unkept and clothes wrinkly with cat fur. Though her looks give off a homeless feel she makes sure to bath every day, sometimes.


Common clothes. Doesn't own anything fancy.

Superpower
Name of ability: Rapid cell regeneration
Description: The ability to heal herself and others rapidly. She can cause cells to regenerate to the point they age and die, her only special way of killing someone.

Level one abilities: Heals self effortlessly. Has to rely on transfusions or injections to heal others at first, clumsy working on healing others through skin to skin contact.

Level three abilities: Able to heal others without effort through skin to skin. Can improve the muscle tissue of others to make them stronger for a short time. Can cause peoples cells to break down or grow out of control, much like a very nasty tumor.

Level five abilities: Has full control over being able to heal anyone. Can effectively make a clone out of herself but causing the cells to develop from a fetus to adult in seconds, clone only lives for about 10 minutes before the cells break down. She can kill by touching someone's skin if needed by causing them to age rapidly. Aging process depends on age and health of person effected. An average adult would take up to 5 minutes to kill.

Weakness: Character is rather useless alone, mostly a support character. She won't die because of her healing, but she is easily contained and can be used as a living hospital if hooked up to a transfusion.
Drawbacks: Causing someone else to age makes her own cells at the contact point. Meaning her fingers or hands would wither with the person and decay. Depending on how far she goes with the aging progress she would have to recover or practically regrow her digits. Is very reserved about using this ability.

History
She was a drop out college student going from part-time to part-time to make ends meet. Her only family that she had in the town was her two cats that she had brought with her when she moved out of her parents house claiming she could live out of her own.

Her standoff personality didn't win her any friends like she had hoped when she moved. Instead she had a simple plan everyday. Wake up, eat, feed the cats, go to work, come home, eat and sleep.

Izkripp- When you talk about causing someone to age rapidly, how fast are you talking about? Also I would like it if there was a limit on how often you can do that or have some drawback due to using that power if that's okay with you.Other than that your character sheet is looking good so far and I look forward to seeing your second part of the history section.

Interested, though I'll have to sit and ponder on possible superpowers. I've used a sort of Intuitive Foresight before that I love quite a bit ... but I'm unsure if that's overlapping the one that can focus and counter easily. Though it's more of a passive one and a bit more powerful, but limited. I also like the ability to 'blink,' but with superspeed that seems silly to use. xD

If you could find a way to distinguish between Intuitive Foresight and the other power well enough I might let you use it but like you said there might be too much of an overlap. The ability to blink could work but I'll let you think about it and see if you have another idea.

Well, the foresight basically this;

• Danger Intuition: To see into the immediate future, User has no direct control over the power and is only triggered when there is immediate danger.

At higher levels it would extend out a bit, allowing for faster and even more supernatural levels of reflexes, perhaps even enough to react to (as fast as her body could physically move) super speed.

Okay, that's fine. Glad we cleared that up ... so my favorite two abilities are too close to someone else's ... I'll have to really dig into this to see what I can think of that I'll enjoy playing with. >.>'

What about Supernautral Combat? (Obviously in stages.)

"Users possess immense combat skills, both offensive and defensive, which may be innate, honed or both.

This encompasses speed, strength, precision, reflexes, technique, analysis, control, adaptation and all aspects of practical fighting. Depending on the users, they may be specialized on specific types of weaponry (melee, ranged, natural, etc.), and invariably wield them with surreal efficiency. Most observers are simply incapable to understand what's happening, only a user being able to gauge the skill of another."

What is your plans for your character's weaknesses? Depending on what Collector of Rarities is planning, weaponry might not work since s/he was planing on either using item proficiency or electrokinesis. It might be a good idea and see what Collector of Rarities is planing or if you like I can pm him/her for you.

The wiki says this for a weakness; "Users aren't perfect nor invincible, though they often appear as such to lesser fighters." Though I can come up with one later ... as I just throwing ideas out there until one sticks. However is this a first serve type of application? Rare is undecided while if this is approved, I'll quickly go from undecided to "yes, I want this." Is it of the idea that Rare posted first, therefore s/he has dibs if they decide to go that way?

Edit: Going to bed. If the answer is yes, I'll just simply retract this idea and shift through the superpower wiki by hitting the random page like 100 times. :p

If you can write up a good weakness I'll be fine with this power. However, I don't know if Rarities has started a character sheet yet or not so I want to check that first. If a sheet hasn't been started yet I'll be fine with it.
