@Isotope The Confederation, following the aftermath of the war and the flow of time, fragmented like the other core successor states. The Unaffiliated Zone(The Core Regions) is what used to be the confederation, musashi empire, the core imperium, xeno-barbarians and dominion.

If you decide to join, there are a ton of unnamed Confed Successor States in the Core Regions.
