He looked at what Jax was doing. "He's a psychopath." He grinned. Good thing they were on his side.

Tim pushes the slide forward on the gun and unloads 20mm ballistic rounds into the hundreds of freaks around them. "THIS NEVER GETS OLD!!!" yelled Tim as he lobbed a fire grenade into the swarm.

Jax performed one final upwards sweep with his blade, slicing through a Geek's chin. He looked around, noting the 50 odd bodies that lay around him. He was clear enough to make it to the humvee. He jumped into the passenger side. "Hit it." He said.

"GO OLIVER GO!!!" yelled Tim as the fire engulfed the freaks around them. "RUN THEIR DAMN ASSES OVER!!!"

Oliver did as Tim instructed, silently. The world was coming to an end. He had to be what he had to to survive. He hummed 'Familiar Faces'

Tim loaded another belt into the gun and pushed the slide forward. He looked behind the Humvee. "DAMN, YOUR PRETTY GOOD AT THIS!" Tim yelled as he unloaded the rounds into the freaks chasing them.

"TURN LEFT HERE AT THIS STOP SIGN" said Tim as he let the gun cool. The Rotter's were far behind and maybe just for a second he could relax.

"..." He stayed silent, running them over, dodging when he saw fit. we need to find somewhere to stay.

He turned left, just in time. "We need somewhere to stay!"

"Turn right here" said Tim pointing to an old crossroad with a stop sign in the middle. " then I can drive if you need a break"

"The garrison I was stationed at is about 10 miles from here, we can go there get cleaned up and rest." Said tim

Jax stayed silent the whole ride. He cleaned his machete until it was gleaming again. He'd scraped all the rust and dried blood off the previous night and was determined to keep the blade clean again.

Oliver did as Tim instructed. "We need a long term place to stay. This place won't last long. Any ideas?"

Tim slipped into the back seat. And put his hand on jaxes shoulder."Damn kid, you're pretty good with that balde of yours, you should show that to the colonial when we get to the garrison he eats up those kinds of moves, he gonna like you" "anybody hurt?" Asked Tim.

"As far as taking a break goes, then yes. I need to be able to think without having to drive." He got out and waited for Tim to do the same.

"Oh don't worry oliver" said Tim proudly "the forttress that the garrison is set up in has stood sense world war 1 and it will be there long after we're gone, but in the chance that It is overrun, we have a contingency plan and have a fleet set up in the gulf. Also as another failsafe we have a submarine stationed off the coast to pick us up in case shit hits the fan."

Tim got in the front and hit the engine and turned on the radio."Breaker, Breaker Foxtrot, this is The Rifleman calling in do you copy?"

Jax chuckled in spite of himself. "You army boys have shit figured out." He was a bit bitter that they had access to so many resources when there were people like Jax and his group who had to risk life and limb for a bit of gas. But he was also glad that people were surviving.

He hopped in the Humvee. "I want them to teach me how to shoot. I need to be able to handle myself. Any chance they have an extra pistol? I learned how to use several different guns. I need all the training they can spare."

"Well Jax" Tim said smiling" to be honest we knew this would happen once the pathogen got loose, sadly" "all things aside it was originally supossed to be a new combat medication, like morphine, but this would actualy speed up the healing prosses. But then NORTH KOREA got ahold of a batch" Tim said growling "stupid self centers asshols turned it into a weapon!!!" He yelled stabbing the dash with his combat knife. "They wanted to use it to force the world into submission but killed it instead"
