because it can be applyed in slow increments by gradually increasing the volume at a subsonic level that can actually blow your head up if it goes too far :3 also, i'm saying an average dude being forced to win a chess match while he's being choked the fuck out by an mma fighter would be the equivalent of casting even the weakest fire ball... and translocation magic is very complex and difficult to do even with your char's training... simply put: when the nigga starts getting chocked the fuck out by shit he can't fucking see then he can't do shit
No, I call serious bullshit on this. I've been pushed under in a pool. I wasn't prepared for it, and I couldn't breathe. But I could still think. And I don't know about you, but to Jake magic is second nature. Teleporting things is as easy as thinking about teleporting things. It's not something you learn, or an acquired skill. It's an instinctive thing in your genetic code. You may have your magic differ from this, but Jake uses magic instinctively, and once he feels in danger, he teleports away. Kind of like how you pull back your hand reflexively when you touch something that burns you, except he pulls it back into another dimension.
And we weren't talking about Jake, we were talking about the chronomage. While I call bullshit on the whole "lack of breath=lack of magic" think, the chronomage could defeat Yssmir with ease.
