Spring, 1256 A.D.
Britannia, a realm of emerald isles, since the the age of the Roman Empire up to the present day, no king or emperor has called this realm his own.
Five Kings now stand ready to do battle for this elusive realm.
They will make Britannia theirs, or die in the attempt.
The English, a conflicted kingdom ruled over by a tyrant and his son and riddled with insurgency and pending rebellion among it's nobles and aristocrats, their only hope for a successful conquest of Britannia is by stamping out any and all whiffs of insurgency and showing no mercy to their enemies.
The Scottish, a strong and defiant people who have been at the mercy of England for far too long, with the only deterrent to open war being the Scottish King having married an English princess.Despite this, tensions continue to fester and grow between the Scots and the English, with King Henry's hunger for more land only worsening the already tense relations with the highlanders.
Ireland and Wales, both of which have been oppressed and subordinated by the English for far too long.
However, these two headstrong and noble peoples have both begun to openly resist the English, with the self-proclaimed King Llewelyn and his brother Dafyyd leading the Welsh resistance and the elected King Patrick O'Connor spearheading the Irish war against their English overlords.
Not to mention the invading Norwegian Viking hordes, led by King Haakon Haakonson, these brave seafaring warriors have even now gained a foothold along Scotland's northern coasts, posing as an immediate threat to the Scottish.
This is a time of conflict, a time of chaos, a time of Total War...
