[OOC] Camp Castaway

1. This is my RP. What I say goes. If you disagree with something we can discuss it.
2. If you are unsure about something ask I will answer to the best of my ability.
3. If you have a suggestion let me know I welcome suggestions
4. No fighting in the OOC. I don't mind discussions and disagreements.
5. Use the mention button. It helps people know your talking to them. Especially me ;)
6. Internal thoughts are great but please make them appear different from your spoken words. I don't care if you use color or italics.
7. Post must be atleast 3 sentences long.
8. I don't care what excuses you use. They are unacceptable. You joined an RP. It is your responsibility to keep up with it. If you can't keep up with the RP then you shouldn't join. If you don't check in visa PM, Status, OOC every couple of days I will move on without your character. I'm tried of waiting for people who aren't considerate of others.

In a modern world still not yet ready to accept those who classify a bit differently from what most humans consider normal, it can be very hard for a teen to explore who they are and just be themselves, even for just a little while. In an effort to help these unique individuals and grant them an opportunity to try normal interaction with others like themselves for at least a few months out of the year, a pair of very unusual twin instructors have been up in charge of a summer camp for children of the supernatural. Campers here exhibit all sorts of differences, from alternate physical forms to an affinity for magic or even just some kind of power that science has yet to explain. At the end of the day, though, maybe they, too, just feel normal and belong somewhere.

Name: Valencia Moon

Appearance:
Skills: Able to walk around without making a single sound, making other people happy.
Power: pyromansy mixed with telekinesis.
Bio: From the day that Valencia was born she was able to move things without touching them. Her parents loved to do stage magic so they thought that one of them was tricking the other. But when she got the age of 6 she discovered that she could set things on fire if she focused her mind on it. Valencia was afraid to tell her parents about what she could do.

Valencia is a quiet, happy girl with a short temper. If she gets angry she can lose the control of her power. Further she loves nature and playing with fire.

Alright, here's what I came up with.

Cecilia

Name:
Cecilia Curtis

Age:
15

Ability:
Kinetikinesis - the ability to create,shape and manipulate kinetic energy. She can transfer kinetic energy from one object to another, increasing its force. With direct contact, she can turn an object’s potential energy into kinetic energy, making it explosive. Alternatively, she can make a target immobile or unable to stop if in motion.

Personality:
Naturally caring but possessing excellent analytical abilities. Cecilia is very much an introvert. Despite this she has well developed people skills, making relationships come fairly easily to her. She takes each new day and event as they come, exited at the new possibilities they present. Though enthusiastic, she can be a bit of a perfectionist at times, often taking her responsibilities personally.

Bio:
Cecilia’s mother disappeared when she was still a baby, her powers developing when she was in elementary school. She would live many of the following years on the road with her father, traveling via RV from one school to another, not staying in one place very long. Her mother was the subject of many arguments (Cecilia being unconvinced that he’s telling her everything). Despite this, she trusts him and is eager to take life one day at a time.

Name: Gredy Silvertongue

Age: 16

Ability: Gredy's powers are animal based, but exactly what they are changes daily alongside his physical appearance. He has no control over what he transforms into or to what extent; While this does mean that he can sometimes have access to amazing powers of some kind while looking absolutely majestic, there is an equal chance that he will get the short end of the stick and be more or less useless while sitting in a pile of his own mucus.

Appearance: Original Appearance.

Bio:
Gredy Silvertongue's life was rather normal until he turned 12; He was raised by loving, hard working parents in a pretty decent neighborhood alongside his two older sisters and his younger brother. Shortly he turned 12, everything changed when he woke up in the early hours of the morning in great pain due to the pair of wings and beak that he was growing for reasons unknown. After suffering through these 'growing pains', he quickly discovered the joys of flying... even if both himself and his parents were absolutely confused as to what had happened.

The mystery only worsened the next day when the pain started again, only this time for Gredy to transform into some kind of feline/human hybrid more feline than human. This painful process has continued every single day since it first started. Now 16, Gredy has been sent to a summer camp that might be suited for his... special needs.

No... You know how there are super heroes and villains that are animal hybrids/ have animal features and abilities to various different degrees?

Gredy's power is that every 24 hours, his body changes into a new form, with a new appearance and new powers... Or a body that doesn't function well if he is unlucky. More then once he needed a wheelchair to get around.

@Bright_Ops I know of a couple that have animals features and abilities. And I have no problem with him changing animal features and abilities as long as that's all hw changes. But I'm not sure how that likes to the wheelchair.

Well, not all animal forms are... beneficial. For example, being part Jellyfish not only means that you have to stay relatively close to a source of salt water for a day, but it can also mean that your body might be lacking some important bones for walking as well.

Well I wanted to play a character with a disability to a degree... I plan to do dice rolls to work out what he is going to be on a given day.

@Bright_Ops nope. I am say my camp isn't set up for the disabled. But it could be an interesting challenge for the counselors

Name: James Hunter
Age: 15
Ability: James's ability is referred to as Illusion Physiology, as his body is somehow both real and an illusion at the same time. He is able to manipulate his own body freely, though at the same time he must stay aware of his own identity, or else he may be unable to return to his normal appearance, and those who can use illusions can cause him serious harm with their abilities. Due to his body being so malleable, he is required to have keen knowledge of human biology to allow himself to change back and ensure that everything is where it is supposed to be when altering his body.
Appearance:

Bio: James has always been a reclusive person, and refuses to talk about what his life was like before he was adopted when he was 8. Even after that not much is known about him, other than the fact that he's not very sociable, preferring to sit back and observe others rather than getting directly involved, watching rather than interacting so that he could fully understand others. It enables him to think and act without prejudice or preconceptions, judging others by what he has actually seen of them rather than things he's heard. He is also very blunt towards those few who manage to irritate him, and cannot stand to see a girl cry, being a naturally kind person despite his passive nature.

Name: Ophelia Blackart
Age: 17
Ability: Her Ability is she can summon anything. However it has flaws, When she can't control her feelings -- Her hand will accidentally summon, even if she don't wish to do it, something that resembles with her emotion. So she needs to be careful sometimes.

Appearance:

Bio: Ophelia was once bullied due to her introvert personality. Everybody thinks she's kind of a special child and everybody also thinks she's weak. Everybody that knows her, bullied her in school and in any other places. Even her love ones. When she had have it, She accidentally summoned a dangerous beast to attack the bullies and so she discovered her secret power. Ophelia is also a sensitive person. She gets irritated at things easily. However, There is a side where she can be friendly but she's afraid to show it because she believes that every people are just traitors and will leave you at the end.
