[IC] Pokémon Battle Frontier

Scott waved to the heroes. He finished his tea and came over. "Greetings boys." He said. "I trust that you are ready to face the Battle Dome?" He asked. He than saw Mr. Coleman, and deduced he was Liam's father, due to similarties in their apperances.

"We're ready," answered Shiranui.

The Pokémon were brought back to the heroes. Liam thanked the haney that delivered them.

Shiranui did likewise and was ready to face the Battle Dome.

There was a huge crowd around the Dome. Scott mentioned that Dome Ace Tucker having any challengers is big, and many people come to watch the battle. Scott also mentioned that usually his challengers get interviewed, normally about where they are from, strategies they like to use, types they like, etc.

"Business as usual for us," replied Shiranui, not fazed at the notion of being in an interview.

Scott led the heroes to the interview room. They were asked many questions such as what there hometowns were (which was strictly for the record since as they are already fairly famous it is known by a lot of people already.), favorite types, and ideal strategies. Liam gave his answers of: Blackthorn City, Dragon types, and so on.

"As you very well know, my home town is Ecruteak City…I favour both Psychic and Dark-type Pokémon…my ideal strategies usually involve getting inside of my opponent's head."

After the interview, the duo was lead to the stage to meet Dome Ace Tucker. Scott took Mr. Coleman up to a balcony to watch.
The lights dimmed as a fanfare (that anyone familair to this series would know) began to play.
"He hails from Ecruteak City. He has particpated in many regional championships including Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Kalos. He's Hoenn's Top Coordinator. Known as a 'Sea Hero', and the Kalos Champion, his name is Shiranui Tsukiko!" Shiranui's image appeared on screen when his name was annouced.
"He comes from Blackthorn City. He has also participted in regional tournaments in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Kalos. Known as a 'Dragon Master', his name is Liam Coleman!" Liam's appearence appeared when his name was said. After that Tucker was announced and he glided down from a high perch. "Hello, Champions." He greeted. "Welcome to the Battle Dome!" Tucker tossed out two balls, revealing Arcanine and Swampert as his choices. Tucker than offered to face them together, however if he managed to defeat one of their pokémon, neither would get the symbol. He also offered them the ability to call in a Pokémon from elsewhere. Liam began to discuss strategies with his friend in hushed tones. "I have an idea. how about I use Jiriya, and you have Zorro take his form? If they both set up Double Team it maight give us an edge."

"Sounds good to me," Shiranui whispered back.

"Well, I don't need to transfer a Pokémon in." Liam told Tucker.

[James Davy]

"Neither do I," Shiranui added.

The phone etarcted to the ground. Tucker took his place and asked for the heroes to send out their Pokémon.
"Jiriya! It's time to shine!" The Greninja appeared and took his place.

[James Davy]

"Jiraiya, it's ninja time!" A second Greninja (Zoro in Illusion) appeared and bowed in greeting.

"Begin!" The offical called.
"Double Team!" Liam called. Liam's Greninja began to run around the Arcanine and Swampert clockwise as copies of himself appeared.

"You too!" Shiranui's "Greninja" ran anti-clockwise around Arcanine and Swampert, forming lots of copies. It looked like a contest battle as Arcanine and Swampert were surrounded by lots of Greninja clones.

"Arcanine, Flamethrower! Swampert, Water gun!" Even though Tucker had no way telling, one attack was launched at a duplicate of the real Jiriya, while the other went toward one of Zorro's fakes.
"Night Slash!" Liam called. The Jiriya and his copies all dashed toward Arcanine to do a slashing manuver that looked as if ti was ripped from an anime.

Two of the Greninja copies vanished from the combo attack. "Use Grass Knot on Swampert!" Zoro and his copies conjured ropes made from grass and tied Swampert's legs together before tripping the mud fish for a lot of damage.

Arcanine was slashed hard by the move. "Water Shuriken!" A set of five shuriken rained down on Arcanine while Swampert was trying to wiggle free from the grass.

"Dark Pulse at Swampert!" Zoro and his copies conjured lots of dark energy orbs and threw them at the stricken Swampert.
