[IC] Pokémon Battle Frontier

[Mike the Bloodwolf]

A young girl rushed past people and quickly got herself sighed up for the contest, admittedly she did not know that the battle dome had been closed for the contest today and had left her brother to quickly sign up for it. He told her he would watch her from the stands and his Lucario agreed with him as they watched her run so she could get herself ready for the contest. She quickly pulled on her special outfit which actually was special dancer outfit from Aloha, she span in the mirror and then picked the two Pokémon she was going to take into the contest. Milotic and her Special Aloha Ninetails. Taking the moment the catch her breath now, she waited to see when she would be called up for the appel round.

Her older brother sat down in the stands to watch the contest as he checked his world map and smirked as he said "You know after going to a large number of these Contests, its pretty impressive how much time and effort people put into this". Ryu nodded to him before he sat down beside him.

"Hello! and welcome to the Lavender Town Pokémon Contest! I'm your host Lillian Meridian!" Lillian called, pausing for appluse. "We have fifty coordinators here today, vying for the Lavener Ribbon!' She said holding up the ribbon in question. "Now, allow me to intoriduce today's judges. First, the head of the Pokémon Contest CO=ommite,Mr. Raoul Contesta!!" The audiecne cheered in response.
"It's great to be here today in Lavender Town."
"Next, the head of the Pokémon Fan Club Committe,Mr. Sukizo!"
"The Battle Dome is Remarkable!" Again, the audience cheered at the judge's comment.
"And last, but not least, filling in for Nurse Joy, please welcome out guest judge,'Dome Ace' Tucker!!"

"Welcome everyone! We'rre all here to have a good time, so let's get started."
"Without furhter ado, let's get started with Contestant # 1, 'Dragon Master' Liam Coleman!"

Liam appeared on the stage. He redadied a ball in his hand and tossed it into the air. "Jiriya! It's time to shine!" Smoke poured from the ball and took the Greninja's form.
"Double Team!" Jiriya made many copies of himself and preformed incrediable acrobatic feats by jumping off of one another and doing aerial backflips. All together it was a routine that would put any circus acrobat act to shame. To finish, one Jiriya leapt high into the air from leapng off of another's shoulder. Meanwhile, the others all had a blade conjured by Night Slash held up and Jiriya, (the real one) landed perfectly on the spot made by the tips of those blades. The crowd cheered and in a puff of smoke, Jiriya was standing on the ground and the copies were gone. The audience cheered.

"OK judges, what do you think?"

"Jiriya does spectacular work as always."
"Jiriya is remarkable!" Jiriya blushed on this comment.
"Not only is this Greninja capable in contests, it is a fierce battler. It is really well trained."

The young blonde girl watched the first contestants and watched how he approached thing, having a plan ready in case she had to battle him at another time. Her Milotic and Ninetails looked at her but she smiled and said "Don't worry girls, we've already complete in 3 grand festivals and won two. I'm sure we can do this, though I might have to use you First Mermaid. I don't know how many people have come across pokemon from Aloha so we might have an advantage but its best to learn our opponents moves first"

Liam returned to the green room and recalled Jiriya to rest. Liam began to polish the ball for his other Pokémon, which of corse was also a Luxury Ball.

"You did pretty well, I never expected a Greninja to be used in a contest in that way before" The young girl said to Liam when he returned to the rooms, Her Aloha Ninetails flicked her tails and shook her white fur making mini snowflakes around her

"Thank you." Liam replied. "Jiriya is pretty strong. I raised him from a little Froakie I found in a fountain." He was surpruised to see a white Ninetails.

[Mike the Bloodwolf]

"I raised my Ice Fox from an egg as well and she quickly became one of my strongest Pokemon" Sashia said as she stroked her Ninetails head. "I'm Sashia Fertar, by the way"

"Liam Coleman." Liam introduced. He questioned how Ninetails could be an 'ice fox' as he had yet to learn about the Alolan forms some Pokémon have.

[Mike the Bloodwolf]

"Ah yes, I've heard your name quite a bit in my travels. You must be a strong trainer to have the respect of so many legendary Pokemon" Sashia said to Liam with a smile as her Ninetails white fluffy hair blew in the breeze.

"Thank you." Liam repled. Liam saw out of the coner of his eye that Johana, a coordiantor he had met before was doing an appeal with her Glameow, scoring a 27.

Sashia watched the screen herself learning from her rivals before Ninetails nodded to her and the two if them said a quick bye to Liam so they could finish up their last parts.

"Break a leg." Liam said.

[James Davy]

"Next up is a coordinator who has taken the top spot in Hoenn's Grand Festival. From Ecruteak City, it's Contestant #15, 'Sea Hero' Shiranui Tsukiko!"

A puff of smoke appeared on the stage and Shiranui was revealed posing like he was performing a jutsu. "Zoro, it's genjutsu time!" When Shiranui opened Zoro's Great Ball, black smoke poured out and metamorphosed into a field of darkness that spread out and covered the entire Battle Dome. From the darkness some scenery materialised in the form reminiscent of Halloween Town from The Nightmare Before Christmas. A flock of Zubat and a murder of Murkrow flew around the sky while all manner of Ghost and Dark-type Pokémon appeared, lip-syncing to This is Halloween while the song played. The Zoroark led the Dark-type singers as his illusions performed. The performance ended after a super-size Gourgeist rose out of some green goo. The audience gave Zoro a standing ovation and the Zoroark and all the Pokémon illusions took a bow before the illusions disappeared.

"Judges, what do you think?"

"That was one of the best appeals your Zoroark has ever graced us with!"
"What a remarkably scary performance!"
"Your Zoroark is very well trained if it can multitask like that; and I've seen it in battle."

Back in the green room, Shiranui was feeding Zoro a Poké Puff for the appeal befitting of Lavender Town.

"That was an awesome appeal you two." Liam said to Shiranui and Zorro.

[James Davy]

"Thanks," Shiranui replied, "It took Zoro a while to perfect that one."

"Well, now we just have to wait on the rest of the appeals." Liam said.

[James Davy]

"If the previous one was anything to go by, we'll need to expect the unexpected," replied Shiranui.

"Well, Johana is here, and she's a tough one to beat." Liam commented.

[James Davy]

"Wouldn't be the first high-level coordinator I faced," said Shiranui.

"Nor mine." Liam commented. "It would be fair to assume all three of us will move on to the next round, but there is one coordiantor I am curious about." Liam stated. "She was in here with a white Ninetails."
