Samug released the Rocket and crossed his arms, snorting in annoyance. Billie and Kidd talked about how they were discussng the plan they had for their next target when they saw a Shiny Umbreon dash out of the grass. It hid behind them as the man and his Venasaur they mentioned came out next with a Tyrannitar in tow. They went on to explain how he demanded they hand over the Umbreon and how they refused and tried to fight him off wth their Pokémon. The poacher used the same kind of capture cubes that Rockets do to snag Pokémon and he got the Rockets' Pokémon in addition to the Umbreon. He than had Venasaur use Solarbeam while the Tyranitar used Hyper Beam. This is where the Rockets landed, unconscious. They regained consciousness about a minute and a half before the heroes showed up. They also went on about how the heroes have to help them, because Weavile and Venomoth were legitamtely caught (albeit in their lower forms) by them before they joined Team Rocket. Sherlock scanned their minds to find that that was also a true statement.
"Well, I imagine your boss would not be happy about that, and you definitely can't go to Officer Jenny." Liam stated. "But the more important question here is, assumng that we do help you, what guarantee is there that you won't turn on us the minute you get your Pokémon back, or the minute the poacher is dealt with?"
"Scout's Honor?" Kidd proposed.
"Your word means about as much as an AC unit at the summit of Mt. Coronet." Liam said. "Besides, don't you have at least two other Pokémon? A Haunter and Ariados I believe?" They began to freak out as not only were tose taken as well, but those were on loan from the boss.
"Yeah, you really can't go to him for help either." Liam replied. Liam had Sherlock keep a close eye on them while he talked with the other humans.
"What do you think? Should we help them? I mean, I know they are criminals, but they are victims in this instance. Even if they fully cooperate, Looker may have to still take them in when all is said and done."
