[IC] Pokémon Battle Frontier

Sashia choose to fly along side them with her metagross, when they landed she stretched out her body popping a few bones back int place before turning to Steel Mech with a smile as she said "Thank you my friend". She then returned him before she nodded to Smuag and said "You know, I have a Charizard of my own who experienced the same rage and power you did, Maybe you'll consider training with her one day so you can turn that power into something else entirely"

"Talk it over with Liam first," added Shiranui after getting off Smaug.

Smaug nodded and walked into the Pokémon Center. He saw Liam resting on a nearby bench with Blissey. Liam saw them and walked over. Smaug cowered back.
"Smaug, you don't have to worry. I'm not mad." Liam went on to pull his replacement shirt off to show that he didn't even have any scars. "Smaug, everything will be alright." Liam said as he gave the Lizard Pokémon a hug. The guilt in Smaug's eyes was replaced with tears of joy, which lasted very briefly, as he realized his mother was still in the OR.

Shiranui saw the concern written on Smaug's face. "Your mother is in very capable hands," he reassured the Charizard.

Smaug just continued to stare toward the OR. The light had been on for nearly an hour and a half. It turned off and Joy stepped outside and made a heavy sigh. She walked over to one of the tables and sat down. She seemed exhausted.

"Nurse Joy, how is she?" Shiranui asked.

Joy informed that the Charizard was covered in wounds, many of which will remain as scars, and that her wings are in bad shape. She'd have to stay on the ground for a while. Joy stated that the Charizard will also have to get over being tramuatized. She had to have a Pokémon use sing to put the Charizard to sleep so they could work on her.

"I know how that feels," Shiranui sympathised, remembering the aftermath of his battle at the Viridian Gym when Titania was psychophobic from reading Saisei's malevolent mind, "At least she's still alive."

Smaug looked off toward her longingly. Senseing what he wanted, Joy told him she needed her rest and couldn't have visitors at the moment.

Sashia nodded and touched her Charizard Zerina ball briefly before she followed them and looked at Liam, "You know, your certainly tougher then you look. I've not known many people besides my brother and me who would stand up to an enraged Charizard and live to tell the tale" She said with a chuckle before she nodded and said "Oh that reminds me, Have you chosen what mega stone you will seek out for your charzard?"

"Yes, I have decided." Liam replied. "But I will worry about it another time.

"In the meantime we have a symbol to win at the Battle Pike and a Contest to compete in," added Shiranui.

Liam began to recall Smaug, but he wanted to stay here with his mother for a while.

"We understand," Shiranui assured.

"We're going to the Battle Pike." Liam said to Smaug. "Well be back afterward." Smaug nodded in acknowledgement.

Shiranui had his Pokémon healed and was now ready to depart for the Battle Pike.

Upon arrival to the facility, Liam found that the building really was shaped like a Seviper. "I wonder what one of the Pokémon the Fronteir Brain will be?" Liam said sarcastically.

[James Davy]

"My thoughts exactly," replied Shiranui, "Nonetheless, we must be careful. From the information I gathered, Lucy's battle style is like a Blade Forme Aegislash."

"Well, the sooner we are done here, the sooner we can begin to prep for the contest." Liam said. "You want to go first?"

"Sure," answered Shiranui.

After entering the Battle Pike, Shiranui was not surprised in the least to see Scott in the stands. After taking his place at the battlefield he noticed Pike Queen Lucy's attire was not unlike a Pokémon Coordinator entering Seviper into a Contest. "This battle between Pike Queen Lucy and Shiranui Tsukiko will be a two-on-two single battle with no time limit!" stated one of Lucy's students whose hair was a pale cyan.
"Seviper, you're on!"
"Higitsune, I choose you!" Lucy opened with her favourite Pokémon and Shiranui responded with one of his personal favourites: Delphox.
"Seviper, Poison Tail!"
"Higitsune, Will-O-Wisp!" Higitsune pointed his stick at Seviper and barked an incantation before ghostly pale blue flames whooshed out at the charging Seviper. Seviper pushed through the flames and landed a hit that did little damage thanks to type resistance and a burn it got from Higitsune's attack.
"Seviper, Poison Fang!"
"Higitsune, Psychic!" The Delphox uttered another incantation and Seviper was in a strong telekinetic hold before being flung around the field. Seviper charged at Higitsune and gave him a venomous bite, leaving the Delphox badly poisoned.
"Your Pokémon is a psychic, eh? Seviper, use Bite!"
"Higitsune, Role Play!" Higitsune swayed about like an Arbok dancing to a snake charmer's oboe as he copied Seviper's Shed Skin ability. Seviper lunged at Higitsune, but the Delphox swayed out of the way. Higitsune's Shed Skin cured the Delphox of his poison, but Seviper still had a burn.
"Try again, Seviper!"
"Higitsune, Psyshock!" A swish of Higitsune's stick caused a psychic wave to materialise and Seviper felt it. The force was enough to knock Seviper out.

"Seviper, return; Milotic, you're up!"
"Higitsune, return; Senritsu, I choose you!" Lucy switched her headliner for another serpent; this one highly sought after in the contest circuit. Shiranui switched out his Delphox for his Altaria.
"Milotic, Twister!"
"Senritsu, set the clock ticking with Perish Song! Mega ring activate!" Shiranui activated his Mega Ring and Senritsu glowed as she became a Mega Altaria. Milotic conjured a tornado, but Senritsu rode the winds and was not affected by the attack. The Mega Altaria sang a haunting requiem that set the course for Lucy's defeat.
"Milotic, Iron Tail!"
"Senritsu, Sing!" Milotic leaped out of the water and clobbered Senritsu with its metallic tail. The Mega Altaria sang a lullaby and Milotic fell asleep. With the Perish Song count at 2 and a sleeping Milotic, Lucy was backed into a corner.
"Milotic, wake up and use Iron Tail once more!"
"Senritsu, Cotton Guard!" Senritsu fluffed up her wings and tail in case Milotic woke up, but Milotic was still asleep as time was running out for the serpent. Lucy predicted an impending switch-out.
"Milotic, wake up and use Hydro Pump!"
"Senritsu, return; Higitsune, I choose you!" True to Lucy's prediction, Shiranui switched his Mega Altaria back to his Delphox. Milotic still wouldn't wake up and at that point in time a crimson glow surrounded the serpent as Perish Song took effect, knocking Milotic out. Shiranui had won the Luck Symbol.
