It is June 1995 and just the start to a laid back Californian summer. You are about to be in your final year of high school. Unfortunately your parents are telling you that you are required to get a job to start saving up for your next year to come. Whether it be college or just moving out on your own, you have to get off your butt and get to work. Not too thrilled, you end picking up a newspaper.
In one of the advertisement it says: Fun. Outdoors. Easy. Good Pay. Come work for Camp Kanarock. (657) 438-2267.
Though it isn't your most ideal thought of how to spend your summer, you decide to call and swiftly accepted into the program. A man named Oliver tells you more of the details of the job. You will be assigned a watch tower where you will spend almost all your time. There is a fridge inside and you will be given enough basic supplies to last the month. There is a porta-potty outside of each tower as well as a fire pit. At the end of the month I will be back to resupply you and help with any problems you have. Each of your other rangers will be in marked watch towers. You can communicate with them with them in either the main channel (Channel A) or if you'd like to communicate with any of the other 6 channels (B,C,D,E,F,G) you can do so by connecting one on one.
The job seems too good to be true, and before you know it you are situated inside your assigned tower, a bag of chips in one hand, a cool drink in the other. A boombox playing music loudly and a sense of accomplishment in a form of a smile spread across your face.
Welcome to the easiest summer of your life.

This roleplay is going to be mature but mostly easy going and fun. There may be scenes that are not for the squeamish. However, that does not mean all of RPG rules are out the window once you step through this door. Think smart. Be cool. If anyone or myself are uncomfortable with you or your actions you will be warned.
If it continues past my warning you will be asked to leave the thread immediately.
Absolutely no one liners, that kinda kills (no pun intended) a roleplay. I'm not asking you to write novels upon novels, but this roleplay does require at least a paragraph of writing. I'm not a stickler for spelling or grammar but if we can't understand you- we're going to have some problems. When you have problems with me, you're in for a bad time.
Because of the new idea of integrating voice acting into our roleplays, let's be patient with one another as we learn. Do not in ANY way be rude to people because of either their: voices, mic quality, accents, etc. Let's help one another and make this new experience great.
Please respect me and my co-gm's decisions. If we ask you to change something on your CS or your IC posts, don't take it personal. There's usually a very good reason for it! I'm extremely lenient and nice, just ask me. Roleplaying is supposed to be fun, so let's have fun! Just remember to keep us posted if you're going to be gone awhile and won't be posting or if you've decided your interest has faded. We will be sad to see you go, but at least we can kill you off in a noble way instead of a bad way if you leave without telling us!

Each cache location is a watchtower location, starting clockwise next to Jonesy Lake is watchtower Blue Bird. Cactus is at the end of Thunder Canyon and next to a cave. To the left of Two Forks is watch tower Doe. Along the Ruby River are watchtowers Eucalyptus and Frog. Finally in front of Five Mile Creek is the final watch tower named Garden Snake. Going from watch tower to watch tower would take an entire day of hiking.
