Hi! I go by Bluehawk, or Hawk for short.

I'm from Melbourne, Australia, and I (mostly) edit videos for a living. I have a long and sordid history of play-by-post roleplaying. It's been about seven years since the last time I participated in one, but that's mainly because I've struggled to find the right environment after my "home" community fractured and died in the late 2000's.

I imagine I'll be a bit rusty!

Bottom right of each post in a thread. @mention lets you tag someone so they know you're talking to them and so they get a notification.

Another way of doing this manually, which can be helpful if say, they didn't post in the thread and you want them to see it, you do [@Their name] instead.

Timeframe is different, but it sounds like we have similar backstories in terms of not RPing for a while due to communities going under, though admittedly I still role-played a bit using my project's setting with a couple of people occasionally over various IMs until they sort of all became shit programs. As it turns out, we're both Australian as well. I'm from Sydney myself.
