Name: Leonardo "Leon" Falco
Age: 32 Origin: Second Generation citizen of the Fortune Region. Height: 5'10 Weight: 165 Backstory: Antonio Falco was Hyloan by blood, but lived in a swamp town in the Fortune Region. He worked as a technician, making repairs on the orbital solar farm that was in geosynchronous orbit over the continent. Being a spacer, Antonio was gone for huge lengths of time, and his son, Leonardo, grew up largely without his influence. It was dangerous work, thankless, and not terribly well paid. Leonardo was always told that his father was gone so that his community could have electricity. But if that were true, then why was power so expensive, so heavily rationed, in their town? It seemed paradoxical, that one of the men who worked so hard to maintain the power system, was woefully unable to actually pay for the service that he ensured.
Spending long stretches of time outside of Orio's atmosphere, Antonio was exposed to an unusual amount of radiation during the course of his job. He developed an aggressive form of cancer in his brain. The tumor might have had something to do with the last few decisions of his life, or maybe facing death awakened a recklessness he never acted on in life. Antonio risked the ire of Sol Industries, and indeed the nation of Hylo, to steal the mech that he flew for his work.
His intention was for his son, then a young adult, to sell it on the black market, later, when the heat had died down. But Leon had a broader view. He saw the mech not as a one time payoff, but as a means to many payoffs throughout his life. A mech is worth money, true, and a buyer can always be found. But a pilot is worth money too, and employers are equally easy to acquire. Leon had his father teach him to fly it before he died, and Leon went through the shadiest channels he could to find work. An employer saw value in the mech's ability to hover and fly, and helped Leon to equip it to poach solar energy being beamed down from the farms in orbit.
Sol Incorporated, a Hylo based company, owns one of the only solar farms over the entire Fortune Region. They therefore have a monopoly on the most efficient source of electricity in many of the Region's city-states. The station keeps track of how much power is beamed down from the space station, and the ground collecting station measures how much arrives. There is an acceptable margin of loss that SI will take accountability for, and this is where Leon works. He flies, high enough that he's difficult to see from the ground, and hovers in the microwave beam, skimming power until his reserve battery is full. He has to be careful to do this slowly enough that SI doesn't notice an increase in the loss margin. When his battery is full, he'll take his mech to some out of the way village or town and plug it into the power grid, selling the power at a markdown.
His mech is equipped with black market weapons at this point, and he has been known to take on more violent work in lean times. He is well known in underground circles as being trustworthy, if a bit stingy.

Name/Title: Sol Industries Orbital Mechanic Apparatus. "Sioma." Appearance : Body & Type: Humanoid Bipedal Equipment & Armaments :
Hand Slot 1: Tools. It is still equipped with the tools of its intended trade, a series of tools folded into the mech's arms. They can be used to make repairs on machines, or even other mechs.

Sub Weapon Slot: A Sub Machine gun. It's actually an infantry-sized light machine gun, but on a mech it's a pretty small weapon. It is modified to be held easily by the Sioma's claw-like hands, and comes out of a compartment on the side when needed.
Shoulder/Back Spot: A pair of automatically loading 150 mm smoothbore guns, loaded with laser homing anti tank rounds. The guns in question do not have any independent movement or aiming, and simply fires whatever direction the Sioma is facing. It relies on the homing for fine tuning of its aim. This failing is a direct result the makeshift nature of the weapons. They have a total payload of 45 rounds.
Gadget Slot: Microwave receiver. A sophisticated mod allows the Sioma to commandeer the energy beamed down from orbital solar farms, to charge either it's own primary battery, or its rather large reserve battery.
Sensor Suite. It is similar to military grade, but instead of being a single cohesive unit built for combat, it's jury rigged from whatever parts Leon and whatever mechanics he employed could find. Typically, he uses it to find microwave beams to siphon power, but he also needs it to watch the ground while he's at work, in case hostile mecha are closing in on him.

Flavour Text: Not at all originally built for combat, the Sioma was actually meant for space borne mechanics to work on large orbital installations, like the solar farms or various satellites. It features an impulse thruster for flight, meant for use in space, but adequate to get it off the ground and to rather high altitudes given time.
Yep looks good, although are you sure you want to have BOTH hand slots only holding tools? you could fit a one handed weapon in of the hands if you wanted. Either way he's approved for the Characters tab.

He also wears a lengthy chain with seventy-three 7.62x52 rounds hanging from the chain itself, signifying the amount of high value targets he has killed during his tours.

Age: 38 Origin: Therux State Height: 6'2" Weight: 140lbs
Backstory: Age Seventeen: Nathaniel follows in his fathers footsteps (General Nathaniel J. Mason) and volunteers for the Therux Mechanized Armed Forces (TMAF). Completes boot camp and continues on into advanced training as Therux MM32 (Mechanized Mechanics).
Age Eighteen:War is declared. Nathan requests transfer into special operations MSO-44 (Mechanized Special Operations) training. Enters into MSO training a few months later and begins training in mk2 Prysm class mech for 8 months.
Age Nineteen: Sees combat first hand in the Epsilon District of Therux 121 miles away from capital. Earns first kill and Purple Heart
Timeskip
By the age of twenty five he had been apart of many missions all over the lands. Although much of his time was spent closer to Lens Mira, a fault line that ran in between the NF and Therux but cut in towards Hylo. There, his missions were rather simple (Will explain more in IC) but effective. It was later into the war did he stumble across the "Great Heavy" (as those in Jackal Company called him), a mech piloted by Captain Alexander of the Northern Frontier. A heavy firefight had ensued during his mission when he had encountered the Great Heavy, who had shot his cockpit, nearly killing Nathaniel in the process after taking off his legs. He was quickly EVACed out and removed from service. It wasn't until months later did he return back to his regular command after much debate and talk, bionics replacing his natural ones.
Years later on two separate missions deep within both Hylo and Frontier territory did he lose his left and right arm with part of his lung and kidney but not before taking down 26 of the opposition, giving time for reinforcements to come. A few more years had gone by before the war came to a close leaving Nathaniel to deal with some public backlash when one of his mission details had gone viral throughout the public media. He was asked for interviews, audio clips and many other things but as per usual he remained silent and despite the back lash he received he was still one of the more decorated soldiers of the war and considered the "Deadliest Therux Pilot to date." He has always claimed he was just doing as directed and refuses still to talk about his work. However, if one is handy with technology, one could dig up his past and uncover the blackness that was Jackal Company.

Spectre was originally designed to replace the current MkII Nero Class heavy weapon assault mech and the MkII Blitz Class assault mech because of its lighter yet stronger frame and its dual hybrid reactors giving the mech a larger payload while allowing for greater mobility and speed. However, due to the cost of making said mech (Roughly 2.5 Billion Theros) only around 100 were made compared to the 10,000 that were ordered. Pilots of these mechs had to have a near flawless record and pass the necessary tests to even be considered for said mech. Thousands of pilots had applied and trained for said mech but only one hundred were chosen, most of rank first lieutenant and up who had experience on the field.

Backstory: Olympia has been many things. A thief, a swindler, and a smuggler to name a few. But one thing she has never been is shy. Brash and bold since the day she was born, she roamed the sandswept streets of the fortune region, sticking to the crumbling spires and shifty alleyways of the dunes and dilapidated cities. With a mystery of a mother, and a father with his head stuck in the corner bordellos, she raised herself and found company with a ring of prominent drug traffickers. They needed a runner; a go-between that could pick up their supply in the Therux state, or redistribute it to the branches in the other regions. Olympia thought nothing of the questionable nature of her job or the possible consequences it could entail, and instead yearned for the excitement and thrill of the taboo career she had chosen.
She took to it naturally, and not only succeeded, but thrived. Her wits and street smarts carried her through the ranks, until she had routes of her own. Olympia charmed her way into the caravans of military companies and the homes of war trodden citizens, giving them the strength they needed to fight, or the distraction they needed to forget, all with the convenience of a bottle or a capsule. Eventually, she discovered a new thrill. Rolling high with the military revealed fortunes beyond money. High grade weapons and small stashes of Elementum were a bargaining tool for the illustrious soldiers, and she was more than happy to relieve them of it. In the case of an especially indebted Lieutenant with a bloodstream full of doses and a pocket full of lint, Olympia became the proud owner of a MKII+.
This presented an opportunity. With the mech, she knew that more power was a possibility, and some friends in low places helped her learn to use it. In pursuit of a different horizon, she handed off her branch of the cartel and joined the Outcast Guild, her face splattered with a grin and pockets lined in cash.
Tactical Preference & Skills: Olympia is quick on her feet, preferring to play 'cat and mouse' when she can, with her sword as an accomplice. In tighter or more threatening situations, she's quite skilled with an SMG. She likes to stay in the action, but uses environmental cover to stay safe.

Equipment & Armaments:
Hand Slot 1: Elementum Sword - Crudely styled, yet graceful, and crimson in color, this long and wicked sword has a deadly range and a razor sharp edge to boot.
Hand Slot 2: 8-Gauge Shotgun - Stored within the left arm, the mid range usage of this weapon is terrifying enough, though the short range capabilities of this firearm are downright devastating. Ammo reserves are contained in this slot.
Sub Weapon Slot: EMP Grenades - The radius is smaller than average, though a series of periodic pulses extend the disruptive effect. This is mainly used to disable other units for a hasty escape, though it holds opponents in their place for more tactical long range purposes.
Shoulder/Back Spot: Flak Gun - The gun is located between the shoulders and can be maneuvered to mount upon the torso. The scrap it projects can deal massive damage to anything in it’s line of fire.
Gadget Slot: 4-Arm Grappling Hooks - Two panels on each side of the torso give way to two pairs of grappling hooks, used not only for extra maneuverability, but for a steady grip on opponents.

Light/Heavy Body: Eris’ body is lightweight for the sake of agility and speed. It was made to dash gracefully through combat and evade hits, while still balancing just enough weight to maintain decent stability. (3)
Accuracy & Tracking/Firepower: As the main ranged power stems from the shotgun, Eris’ strength easily lies in its firepower. When stable enough to draw it out, Olympia could shoot holes through crowds with it. (9)
Air Mobility/Thrusters: Eris’ form allows for above average speeds, allowing it the ability to pass ahead of most opponents. (7)
Solo/Skirmisher: Olympia has no problem working with associates, but Eris is designed to work alone. It’s speed and intense firepower make it efficient for solo combat.
Flavour Text: This unit was a gift, given to Lieutenant Flint Sampson upon his promotion. Known for dashing head first into combat alongside his men, he was awarded a mecha befitting of his vigorous methods. Unfortunately, rushing into a bad deal in his conventional fashion didn’t prove to be a wise decision.
