If you think it's a way of portraying the story that won't limit too many details then I'd say go for it. Learning to draw just takes persistence.

Yeah I feel like I've been getting better ever since I started trying different ero poses. :^)

Edit: I just took a shower and I basically have volume one thought up. Now the only problem left for the volume is to write it. Which, as you've said is the hardest part.

For some people it's the hardest part, yeah. What I recommend if you're uncertain between making it light novels or a manga is to just write the story out as a script for the time being, focusing on dialogue and some of the important scenes in the form of a storyboard. By doing this, you'll be writing out the story without having to commit to a specific medium yet. If you're unsure how to do this, let me know.

I'm sure I understand how to do that. I tried using a checklist to write my story, you know, writing down a checklist and writing based on that, but it did not work out.

At the very least, I think having a script worked out will help you. I'd possibly have done something similar if my notes were all sorted.

I'm unsure how frequently I'll be on the site at this point, since I need to get my work in order. I imagine once Ailyn returns from Kumoricon in the next few days, I'll end up being a lot more busy from then onward.

Yeah I need to do much more as well, but you know lel. I have someone who's writing his own character's point of view of the story (lazily done by the way, from what I remember he even has text speak and it was hard to read) and he's currently been waiting for about a year or so for me to catch up. At one point I was almost caught up, but then I restarted because I felt it was inadequate.

Didn't know things were shit currently on your end, but take care. I'm mostly same old; stressed and overworked as I try to organize my thoughts better. I'm more or less juggling my workload together with the fact that I had barely any sleep last night.

The sample is all a maybe... though the more I think about it the more I realize no matter what I do it's probably impossible for me to avoid spoiling who the main character of the series is. This is actually sort of a big deal, but only for the first part of the story; the first chapter(s) actually portray the main character as if they're an antagonist and I actually have a decoy protagonist... so if I show content involving anything beyond that first chapter(s) then it's been spoiled. Of course, I realize I'm basically spoiling it anyway now even if there's no names given.

Yeah but my character's POV is the main story, his would be considered more of an on the side thing. As for Shadowy having a not so good day, I recall him stating it before.

Just give them like 30 minutes to an hour of the story for a sample.

While you might think that you spoiled it, that only makes me want to read it more and more. While it is a maybe I'm sure some people like enjoy it, if not we'll just have to enjoy it once it's finished. Sounds really interesting so far!
