I grew up on older wandoze OS versions. Used them until December when I switched to Linux. The older versions are nice and all but over time got worse, 8 and 8.1 were interesting to say the least, weren't the worst out of them all but I didn't like the change from 7 that they went to, that whole "metro" UI was weird and got more annoying than anything else in my mind. I found it interesting they tried to combine the two in 10, take the metro menu and shrink it down and combine that with the older menu, I found it odd and for the short 4 hours I had it installed I didn't like it, I much prefered the older one, I liked that style and how it responded to everything, it just worked really well.

People adapt and if they want to configure what they can to how they want, I mean, take a look at that rainmeter stuff, that's interesting and if you use linux, you can use Conky for something similar to that. Or, just configure your shit how you want, it's all up to you with linux, fuck I run my whole system off keybindings, my mouse doesn't do anything unless the program has a use for it, that's how I set my system up as I wanted a minimal setup with low resource costs, that's what I got and I love it and wouldn't change back to a UI like that. I still tweak my stuff but not much anymore given it's how I want it, tweaking is usually minor stuff anyway.

Like I've told people; pretty much no experience with computers until a little over ten years ago. I really don't know what the first PC we had then was.

It isn't all that hard honestly, you just have to have a base idea of what you want and figuring it out isn't hard, I mean for me, I either install or remove something and replace it or change a few lines in the code, I can provide a screenshot of what my blank desktop looks like, show how that is and stuff.

Alright, this is on my main monitor, simple really, I have many backgrounds I like to use but this is my favorite.

Alright, and here we can see rofi, rofi is the program I use to launch my programs, it'll show a list of programs and you'll choose the one you want or put the name in, press enter and it'll launch. I could use D-menu but I prefer rofi and it looks much nicer, granted I customized it to be the way it is but still. Apologises for the second monitor glitch, it's a lower resolution and as such when I take a screenshot of my whole screen array, it'll add those glitch bars.

If you want to see them in a larger scale, just right click on the image and click on view, it helps for zooming in to see rofi in the second one.

Hmm, right. This sort of thing is definitely unfamiliar to me, but I can get a little idea from the screenshots.

On a side note; I've updated my bio to include the recent role-play that I'm probably going to participate in a bit, at least assuming we manage to remove the "Ranked" status that was apparently selected either accidentally or without awareness.

Ah, I see. Recently got involved in a role-play myself, most likely. The other one which I had gotten a character sheet accepted for was one I decided to pull out of due to a few matters of preference conflicting with what the GM had in mind; no personal conflict came between us though.

My migraines are usually fairly commonplace, so it's more a matter of how severe they currently are as opposed to whether they're there.

I have reeses but they're white, so I'm afraid to eat it. What if it's white chocolate and not just coloured? That would harm me both physically and mentally. White chocolate.

I don't mind white chocolate, in fact I prefer it. Which is interesting, since I can't take milk in large amounts and attempting to drink straight milk without it being flavoured or in cereal (or something like tea, etc) will actually make me feel sick.
