[IC] Find the blender, damn it! {Always Open}

Jesper and William awaken in a cold, stone room, with some people they haven't encountered before. Of the six bodies in the room, four are regaining consciousness and one is definitely dead. A pale corpse is leaning against the wall. The man seems to be about thirty years old, with jet black hair and a short beard. He is wearing a purple sweatshirt and a pair of faded jeans. His stomach was ripped open, and it seemed like he had bled out. One of the most obvious things in the room is a message scrawled on the wall that he died leaning against. "Find the blender, damn it!" Judging by the blood on the man's hand, he had written the note himself. Everyone in the room is wearing simple clothes, mostly t-shirts and jeans.

There are two heavy wooden doors on opposite sides of the room, but other than that the corpse, two yankee candles, the bloody note, and the people, the room is empty.

Despite several attempts to remember how they got there, all anyone can remember is falling asleep the night before...

Now, everyone is lost and confused with no instructions other than five words from a deceased man:

"Find the blender, damn it!"

One guy, who looks like he is in his twenties is propped against the wall across from the bloody message. It's hard to tell if he's dead, but he's at least going to be out cold for a while. (Note: This is "Dark Horse") Jesper and William are next to the door on the right hand side of the room. There is a gentle humming sound coming from this door.

The first person to stand up is Sandra. She sees the dead man in the corner and screams. As a result, Eddy wakes up, but she covers his eyes. She begins to cry, confused, and afraid. Eddy claws at her hand in order to see what's going on, but Sandra grips tightly.

"What's going on?" cries Sandra, desperately, to nobody in particular, her eyes covered in tears, unsure if the four others in the room are corpses.

"Holy fucking shit. How did I get here, the bastards! Oi, is he dead?" Jesper pointed to the bloody man. "Well, he fucking is. That's just peachy. And why a damn blender?" He turned to the crying girl and stopped cursing. "Hey, calm down. We'll be fine. We can just split into groups if these blokes are alive, and take each door. I'm Jesper. Some people call me thief, scumbag, bastard, etcetera. Well, what's your name? I'd like to know before we go to wake this bloke up." He gestured to the seemingly unconscious man.

Between Jesper's cursing and Sandra's screaming Dark Horse began to stir.

At first, Sandra grabs a Yankee candle and holds it over her head defensively, but after Jesper tells her to calm down, she lowers it.

"Hi! I'm Eddy!" Eddy says, his eyes still covered by Sandra's hand. "What's a bloke?" asks Eddy. Sandra ignores him.

"I'm Sandra. What's going on? Did you bring us here?" she points a shaky finger at the corpse. "Did you... kill him?" she asks.

"What the hell is going on here!? Where am I?" said William as he quickly took in his surroundings. He was startled to see the dead man and the bloody writing on the wall, and was just as surprised to see two kids with them in the room.

"Look guys, I'm William, and I don't suppose any of us have any idea why we're here or what happened to the man. Let's just wait for the other guy to come to his senses and we'll work out our situation." he said as he walked towards Dark Horse to try and wake him up. "By the way kid, a bloke is what you're gonna be, assuming we make it out of here alive."

Jesper pointed to the dead man. "This is right well fucked up mate, but I didn't kill that sorry bastard. Or bring us here, for that matter. Why do we have to find a damn blender? That's about the most random thing I've heard in a while." Jesper looked down at his black t-shirt and jeans. "And I have no idea how we can get out of here." Jesper stood up, walked over to the dead man, and begun searching him for anything of use.

Jesper rifles through the man's pockets. He finds a wallet, a dead cell phone, and an engagement ring on the man's hand. There is a knife in his pocket, but the blade has been bent and cracked, as if it had been used on a surface sturdier than the metal knife.

Sandra begins to calm down, and makes her way towards a door. "I... want to get out of here..." she says, still on the verge of tears.

"I don't think it's right to mess with a dead guy's body like that, and all that blood... damn, can't believe you've got the guts to touch him." said William as he stood behind Jesper observing his actions. "Screw that blender business, all that matters is getting out of here. I'm gonna go check on one of the doors." William walked to the door he was close to before, the one that made humming noises. Opening a random door at an unknown location didn't seem like a good idea so he tried peeking through the keyhole to see what's on the other side.

Jesper pocketed all the items. Better safe than sorry. "I'm a goddamn theif mate. Alright. I say we leave this drunkard behind." He points to Dark Horse. "He's dead weight to us. And I'll check the other door." He walks to the second door and also looks through the keyhole.

Surprisingly, the keyhole doesn't reveal anything. It seems to be enchanted in some way. Instead of seeing what's in the other room, Jesper could only see the color purple while peering through the keyhole. He did hear something though... the cry of seagulls and the sound of the ocean tide.

"Oye! I'm seeing nothing but purple through this keyhole! I think something is blocking it. What do you see over at your end?" said William loudly to Jesper across the room. William was curious of what's on the other side, he wanted to open the door but he thought it'd be best to know what's at the other side of the other door. He walked towards Jesper to check on him.

"I hear some seagulls and some waves, so I think we should take this door. Could lead outside. I'm just curious. Why did that man die if two doors were here. Maybe they're locked? I don't get it, mate." Jesper backed away from the door, then shook his head. "Screw it." He reached for the doorknob, and attempted to open the door.

"Hmm... fair enough, go for it. And about that man, I have no clue, but I've got a feeling that we're somehow involved in all this. And the blender... must be really important for him to write about it in his own blood and die for it." William paused and said softly as Jesper went for the doorknob, "I just wanna get out of here man."

The door opened without much difficulty. Sandra nervously approached the opening door as Eddie clawed at her arm.

The people within the room immediately saw an ocean, accompanied by a beautiful sunset on the horizon. A few seagulls were flying around in the air, which smelled like salt. To Jesper's right, there was a pier. But the pier seemed to be roughly a mile (or 1.5 kilometers) away. There was a ferris wheel, and a little bit of noise coming from the pier, like people were celebrating. There was a single sailboat in the water, and an elderly man was fishing on it. He was very far off of the shore.

There was only two people on the beach. An gorgeous blond woman in her twenties laying down on top of a towel with her bikini and texting someone on her cell phone and a woman with dark hair wearing a t-shirt and shorts with a towel wrapped around her, fast asleep on the sandy shore. Sandra walked past Jesper, out of the room and onto the beach, releasing Eddie, who simply stared at the horizon, dumbfounded and confused.

Sandra, silently crying, made her way towards the two women on the beach. She tried to call out for them, but her voice was cut out by her own sobs. She continued traveling towards the two women, and gestured for Jesper and William to follow her.

William was stunned by the beauty of the scenery, it was almost unbelievable that they were in a possible murder scene just a few steps back when such a view is right in front of them. "Wow, this can't be a dream right?" said William as he took a few steps forward onto the beach to take in his surroundings. It felt strange being there, as beautiful as it was, it just didn't feel right to him. He then turned to Jesper, "Well it seems like Sandra knows those ladies, should we follow?"

Jesper snarled. "I don't buy it. Wouldn't those people bother to explore where we were? For all we know, they could have put us there." He stayed behind. "You can go ahead if you'd like." He decided to stay behind, ready to run or fight if it came to it. "It doesn't make any damn sense...Unless this is just a room? We don't know if this is just illusion magic or not." He looked at the broken knife in his hand and attempted to straighten out what was left of the blade on a rock nearby.

What Jesper said made sense, everything just seemed off, but to William there's only one way to find out. "Alright, you stay here while I try to hopefully make sense of this place from those people. If anything goes wrong we just book it back to the room." he said to Jesper, then chased after Sandra. William tapped Sandra on her shoulder before they got close to the ladies and said as gently as he could, "So I take it that you know them? And why are you crying?"

"I don't know them... I'm just... I'm scared... where are we?" Sandra weeped for a few seconds, but then, with some effort, managed to composed herself.

"But, the people on the beach can probably help us right? We have to try!" Sandra rushed towards the two women without thought as Eddie played with the sand.

"Please! Help! Help!" shouted Sandra. The one woman put down her book, confused.

"What's the matter?" she asked Sandra, in an American accent.

Sandra panted and pointed back towards the door. "We just came from that room over there! Someone was killed!"

"What's your name sweetie?" asked the women.

"Sandra. Please you have to-"

"Sh... calm down. There's no room there."

Sandra looked back. William was following her, but Eddie and Jesper were gone, and the door they had left through had completely vanished from sight.

Jesper had a bit of luck straightening the knife, and although it was better than nothing, it still only a little more useful than a can opener.

Suddenly, Jesper heard a whooshing sound as the door closed and slammed shut, as if caught by the wind. Suddenly, the door sank into the wall, completely disappearing. Dark Horse stood up, mumbled something tiredly, and then curled back into a ball, asleep.

Jesper heard a pounding noise and then a scream. Eddie was in the room with him, trapped, and had seen the corpse.

The pounding continued.

Eddie began to weep. "Where's Sandra?" he asked.

"Open up, you bastard!" came a gruff, unfamiliar voice from the other side of the door. Given the force of the blows, it was clear that there were multiple people pounding on the door, trying to enter the room Jesper had only just recently woken up in.

"The hell?" Jesper wasn't good at helping with kids, so he went to the door where people where trying to get in. "Alright mate, who the hell are you? And why do you have to fucking get in this room?" He attempted to shout through the door, still holding his broken knife in hand. This was messed up. A second ago, he was going to have freedom. He shoved his hand into the pocket of his grey jeans and pulled out the wallet, staring at it as he waited for an answer.

The wallet contained a driver's license, which identified the corpse as a Mr. G-R-Something or other-T-E-R. The middle portion of the name was covered by a blood stain. Jesper noticed the driver's license seemed different- on the back there was a peculiar golden bar code of sorts. The wallet also had fifteen euros, three pounds, and one dollar. There was no debit or credit card, only a coupon that promised "75% off on their next purchase at Jim and Eric's Cole Slaw Emporium." The next closest things were a library card and a membership to the YMCA.

"Federal agents..." growled the voice behind the door, "we've been informed there was an incident in there. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you?"

Jesper noticed a faint noise. Was something... clawing at the door?

"What the hell!? We came out from a door just right there!" said William as he pointed towards the place where the door was. Everything made no sense to William, first he woke up to see a dead guy, next he opened a door to a beautiful beach, then the bloody door disappeared! "Look, I don't really know what's going on here but do you mind telling us where we are?" he said to the ladies. William is getting nervous, something must be messing with them and now even Jesper and Eddie are gone.
