Faction Type: Technology Collective/ Diplomacy state

Racial Demographics and Population: The Collective is fairly racially mixed, making it hard to distinguish different ethnic and racial groups. The majority of the population lives around the small alpine lake in the main population centers of the collective.

Culture and Religion: The Collective has no religion, although some of the local ethnic groups have their own religion. People are bound together by a strong nationalist bond of being “Alpine people” or one with the mountains. Most citizens spend their entire lives amongst the mountains without ever venturing down to the wastes below.

History: Made up of refugees fleeing the hell of the wastes below, the first alpine village was founded as a traders outpost. The small lake made it an obvious congregation point for traders and travelers moving through the mountain pass and the outpost turned into a small town. As more people settled around the lake the number of settlements grew and eventually consolidated themselves into the five towns of the Alpine collective. Bound to each other by trade, the different settlements allied themselves and formerly created the Alpine collective.
Military: The Alpine collective has no military, relying solely on militias and its sophisticated intelligence service for defense.

Other: Due to trade and the flow of good through the area, the Collective is a technological powerhouse. Focusing mainly on sustainability, conversation and purification. The collective has small investments in defense technology but this is seen mainly as a waste of time by the directors.

Just wanted to say that my character often (basically 1 to 4 times a month or so) drives by your faction.
However not within its borders, but outside them. You can check my map.

If you want you can have legends about the fortress of old. Or pick up the civilians i added in my first post.
Checking the map by Sigma, i even drive through a bit of the Alpine territory. There is also a relay station within its borders.

A good way OOC to make my character arrive is to find and explore that place. How my character acts however will be a matter of how it is explored.
Just a tip if you want some player interaction in game. Depending on how it is played one can gain an ally or end up in open war... fun fun! :D

I have a crazy idea though....So you said that your AI is a slave to the military high command. So what if I had a member of the military with knowledge of operating with these drones. Teach a small portion of my population how to physically flag down these machines and identify themselves as military members. Could I have my diplomats or Intelligence service travel inside the drone as it moves around the wastes?

Interesting idea.

However the MHCM was a super AI working in conjunction with the military leaders of Nabushan (i've assumed).
That means faking top security pre-war signal relays, to send out fake orders.
Needless to say this is very complex.

A more sensible way to try and fake it would be to get a bunch of guys into pre-war Nabushan uniforms, then pretend to be pre-war infantry.
This way one doesn't have to get control of the matrix network, however that also means that the troops wouldn't actually have any control over KR 112. But can make requests there is a decent chance MK IV would grant.

I'd say it's probably easier to just try and make contact with the KR 112. (Provided one knows what it is, and is not afraid of it.) Then just begin negotiating with it.
MK IV is gonna be more human than some of the human characters in this RP, so it will probably work well to just speak with it.

However the KR 112 is probably just myth to many factions, but i'm open to some sort of past as i've done with the Cybrans.
Whom have some cultists as permanent 'interior decoration' on the KR 112. But that was because of a misunderstanding.

I suppose I shall wait for some of the others to join the battle before intervening - after all, I was among the last to post before it began. Besides, unexpectedly appearing during conflicts seems to be becoming a habit of mine.

That would have my character arrive as quickly as possible.

Somewhere within a day or two.

But that would make more sense during the looting phase of the hulk.

But it could also be an old enemy ship, resulting in it not linked with my chars network. In that case my character will probably never know of the hulk.

So if anyone wants me to arrive, write that you activate one of the relays, or that the ship itself does it.
Otherwise i'll go my round, i wanna do some things with that as well.

But of course i want to run into some other player at some point. It's just that i don't know who i want to contact/ who is logical.
