Xavier watched the vampire and smiled. He sat back and a British accent poured out. "You're a rather grumpy one aren't you? Well I came with a touch of news I'd thought you.....vampires would enjoy" He sat in a way that seemed to ooze the very little worry he had and the irritating levels of self absorbance. [color=orange]"That bumbling oaf of a werewolf Samuel is dead. You're looking at the new alpha"[color] he then studied the vampire. "I would also quite enjoy a whisky if you have it"

He had a rather wolffish grin as if he knew what he just said was going to impact the vampires greatly. Was this part of his plan? Was he playing nice right now or was he really this fine with interacting with vampires. He was almost as hard to read as Athos.

Alex North

Alex gave nothing away in his voice or expression. He couldn't trust this guy any more than he could have trusted Samuel. He felt it, he knew this guy was just as bad, call it instinct. "Well then I guess congratulations then." Alex's tone was dry with a lack of interest. "Eve....Whiskey please." He said to the waitress as she passed him. She nodded. Alex studied the wolf. "So what does that have to do with me? Killing an idiot is nothing new to me." Alex sounded bored with him.

The waitress delivered the glass of whiskey and left. Alex looked like he might leave in another second or two. He knew part of this wolf's attitude was his love of attention and keeping the focus on himself. The snappy dressers were always like that at least a little bit.

Xavier raised a brow at the vampires bored tone. "What doesn't it have to do with you?" he tilted his head. "Samuel wanted to start a war. Samuel is gone now. I do believe that erased a potentially large problem for you and your.....family. Unless I have the completly wrong bar and need to go smack a witch upside the head" of course the witch he was talking about was a bit to strong for him to do that without fear of suddenly having no teeth, but none the less making it seem like he had a witch on his side was definitly in his favor unless his bluff was called.

Alex smirked slightly "So, what do you want, a cookie? I wasn't worried about it before he died so why should I worry about it now?" Alex asked enjoying irritating the man just a little bit.

Xavier grew a smirk of his own. "A cookie would be good yes" he then leaned on the table a bit. "I do ask that you inform the rest since I feel your family should be in the know" another smirk. "After all that makes us neighbors now" small jab pointing out the vampires didn't yet own all the territory and he was staking claim right now.

Alex peered at him through slightly annoyed eye although his expression looked bored again. "Yeah, I'll let them know, If I give it any thought when I see them." Alex walked away from the table and grabbed a cookie out of the platter on the bar and tossed it to Xavier.

Xavier caught the annoyed look and seemed to enjoy it. The vampire was playing bored. Adorable. "Good I do hope we can be good neighbors. Perhaps even get a cup of sugar sometime" dripping sarcasm. One way or another the originals would find out he would make sure of it. After all he had plans. He snatched the cookie out of the air and took a bite out. He muttered softly. "When you give a wolf a cookie..." bad things go into motion
As he took the bite his nose twitched and his attention shifted. An eyebrow raised as he smelled werewolf more clearly since he wasn't focused on leeches he tilted his head and studied the female werewolf a moment before looking away.

Alex went back to the bar and wrote something on a piece of paper and looked at the clock and put the note on Claudia's apron underneath the bar. She would see that it said to act like she didn't know him well. "Claudia, put your apron on please." Then Alex went into the back room to get more stock for the front.

Andrew rode up to the manor on his bike noticing unfamiliar vehicles he inspected them discreetly noticing vaguely familiar scents in the air. Hmm it seems more of the family has arrived. He walked in the door and saw Lucinda talking to three vampires who he realized were Originals as well. He had met the male, Daren, once before hundreds of years ago. The other two he didn't quite recognize. "Hello everyone." He greeted them with a smile. He had some disappointing news and some good news, but it could wait.

Lucinda glanced up and smiled brilliantly. "Andrew! These are the other Originals. My older brother Daren, my younger sister Ester, and my baby sister Annika." She turned to the others and said " Andrew is my eldest living progeny he is nearly 1000yrs old. My next eldest is Alex and Piper is my youngest surviving child."

"Nice to finally meet you all. Something Lucinda failed to mention is that we are engaged." Andrew said with a smile. "I am actually glad you are here as I have found a Warlock to perform the ceremony, linking spell and all."

Daren had a good impression of the younger vampire. Any vampire that survived for that long without being an Original was quite impressive.

Lucinda beamed at him and took his hand in hers and showed her siblings the ring he gave her. She turned back to him "So when can the warlock perform the ceremony?"

"He said he has all he needs at hand and will be able to perform the ceremony as soon as we wish, he said that either tonight during the full moon or in two weeks during the new moon would be best." Andrew wasn't sure why the warlock said that but he assumed it had something to do with the spell.

Lucinda nearly jumped up and down when he said that. "It's because the spell would be strongest if it was cast at one of those two times. Call him. Let's do this tonight while the family is together." Lucinda kissed him just a little bit giddy about the ceremony. She looked at her brother. "Daren will you give me away?"

"I would be honored to." Daren flashed one of his rare smiles. He had always regretted the part of being a vampire that made situations like this nearly impossible and was glad he would be able to experience it for himself.

Lucinda grinned and went to her room to find a dress that would suit the occassion. Piper went with her and Lukas smiled and shook Andrew's hand. Piper yelled "Come on ladies!"

Layla had been in her room resting and waiting for her father to return, when she heard his voice she walked to the edge of the living room and listened in on the conversation. After hearing that the ceremony was tonight she walked up to her father and gave him a hug. "So thats where you went dad, I'm going to have to find a dress to wear."

Piper handed Lucinda her phone. "You'll need to call Alex, we aren't really getting along right now." Lucinda turned to her and said "You guys need to get past it. It's in the past so leave it there. Now you call him." Piper sighed and said "Fine but I'm using your phone or he won't likely answer."

Andrew smiled as his fiancee, sister, and his daughter went to find dresses. "I will be back soon," he said as he headed out the house. He had to go tell the warlock so he could prepare and finish a few preparations. Daren excused himself as well, he had to go grab his suit as well as prepare a gift for the couple.

Bored by the show Jac faded from the pub more like dissipating smoke than a person and was once more on the prowl her movements compelled by her own internal soundtrack or changed by the passing of some car whose speakers were warning about Heathens or Tom begging for a Kiss. She was a creature of the dark and in her element as she floated along oblivious to everything beyond her focus which was an old cemetery.

She moved as silent as the sleepers of that hallowed ground drawn to the sound of children weeping towards an overgrown section. It was darker there than the rest of the marble garden behind her and Jac knew it was caused by the sorrows there collected. It was an old section and connected by the old family and children's service whatever they called it back then. Here they buried the orphan victims of 1917s Spanish Influenza outbreak and as a further sign of neglect an uncaring world forgot about them when they no longer mattered.

She stepped into the center of the children's cemetery her body beginning to undulate like the snake to the charmer’s tune as speaks in a singing voice her words in french

Any who could see them would note that as she danced to some silent drum the ebony haired witch was being surrounded by the restless dead drawn to her like moths to the flame. They hovered and fluttered like foxfire in that hidden section of the cemetery watching her mesmerized by her energy as she revealed her connection to veil freely exposing herself to them.

Jac felt them, felt the children and even the other forgotten dead but most of all the children which caused her to cry a mother’s tears as her heart called them to her offering the warmth of her living soul as comfort. To the older spirits she offered to show them the way to the passage of life, the Veil. Jac was performing the ritual for two reasons and one was because she was compelled to by her maternal self and the other for the power the sins and sorrows she consumed would grant her in the coming days.

Wedding was all Ester needed to hear and she cringed; she detested the institution after having as she would put it “Escaped that Earthly Slavery” her history in her early years was horrible where marriage was concerned having had to kill five husbands to rid herself of them when they proved in some manner undesirable and incapable.

She said it was a byproduct of her joy of freedom which demanded she be unencumbered to pursue her path wherever it lead which forced her to kill her spouse's; after all for such as she there was no Divorce. So it was with that thought that she answered in a teasing tone her summons to dress.

Claudia Aluredes

It has been a week since Caius left with Callie and Claudia was still feeling depressed about the whole thing. The only thing that really cheered her up was being with Alex. But sometimes, even when Alex was around, she falls into thoughtful silence. She was silently clearing out a table a group of vampires had just vacated when Alex walked past. "Claudia, put your apron on please."

"Hmmm?" Claudia looked down at herself and realized that she had actually forgotten to put on her apron. With a small nod, he finished clearing up the table and walked over to the bar carrying the tray with the empty glasses on it. She set the tray down and looked up at the werewolf sitting there eating a cookie. He looked sure of himself but she didn't think too much about it. She gave him a small smile, trying to be the bartender her brother was. "If you need anything else, don't hesitate to call my attention." She leaned down and took the apron from a shelf under the counter. Her hand paused over a piece of paper with Alex's handwriting on it. Act like you don't know me well. She took the piece of paper, tucked it into the pocket of the apron before she straightened up and put it on.

When Alex came back out, she took the tray she had been carrying and carried it to the back without looking at him.

Annika returned Lucinda's hug, surprised that she was actually happy to see her. As soon as she had greeted the other Originals, she paid close attention to what Lucinda said. At the mention of children, she shook her head. "I don't need to worry about someone or some... thing trying to hurt my children as I have none." It was true. In all her years of existence, she never turned anyone. She didn't want to curse another and make them suffer for eternity. It was unfair. Or at least that's how she thought. "But since I'm here, I don't see any reason why I shouldn't help out."

She looked at Piper, Lukas, Ashley and finally Andrew when they were introduced. She offered them a small smile and a nod of acknowledgement. And then she turned towards Lucinda again. "Congratulations, Lucinda, Andrew. I am happy that although we were welcomed with the news of Garrett's passing and Tabitha's leaving, there is this good tiding. I wish you both the best," a sincere smile brightened up her face. "I suppose I need to find a suitable dress to wear as well."

Lucinda Elloise Prescott

Alex had just told Lucinda about Samuel's demise and about the 'charming' wolf that took over.

"Well I guess that is an improvement. For the moment anyway." Alex was happy to see her so excited and happy. It had been a long time since she had been truly happy. He thought about it smiling softly to himself. The last time she had been happy like this was the day before Andrew took off last time.

Lucinda stood next to Andrew and they pledged to love each other until the true death took them. The warlock cast a binding spell on them. They would always be able to feel each other's whereabouts and if they were hurt the other would be able to know it. It would be just short of telepathic. They had just started to kiss when they heard Piper and Lukas howling from the nearby woods. They couldn't be at the wedding due to the full moon but that was okay by them. Lucinda looked into her new husband's eyes and she finally felt like things were starting to improve.

Alex had shown up but Claudia would be a wolf tonight as well so he stayed a while and enjoyed seeing the family he knew and meeting the part he didn't.

He spoke to Annika and Ester,

"I've met your brother before but I must have been off somewhere when you were here. When was the last time you saw Lucinda?"

Claudia Aluredes

The moon shone down on Claudia's black fur as he padded through the trees in the woods. She could no longer hear Caius' thoughts and that meant that he was very far from where she was. She stopped, pawed the ground and whined guessing that it'll be a while before she saw him again. She lifted her head when she heard wolves howling. From the timbre of the howls, she guessed that it was Piper and Lukas. Lifting her own snout up to the moon, she let out her own howl.

Annika had picked a violet gown to the wedding and stood beside Ester, watching their sister's happy moment. She was happy for them but at the same time found it strange that werewolves were howling in celebration of their wedding. Oh, right. One of her child is a hybrid, she thought. Her mind drifted off. Would she be willing to sire her own children? Seeing this gathering, it didn't seem bad. She'd have others to share the burden of immortality, making things bearable. No. I won't burden anyone even if it means that I'll be alone forever, she argued in her head.

Her thoughts were interrupted when one of Lucinda's children came up to her and spoke out. She looked at him. Alex North. she remembered Lucinda mentioning him. She gave him a small nod of acknowledgement.

"The last time I believe was over a thousand years ago," she answered.

Cassius W/ Zaheer, Dante, and Zaheer's Bitch.

It's been a week since Cassius left and just getting back into town, Cassius was bent on finding Jac. Cassius and Dante found Zaheer in a town that Cassius once hustled in at one time but Zaheer took over the operations along with a Zaheer's former Ho, now assistant. Going by the name Peaches, Cassius was originally against bringing a bitch named Peaches along to join the cause but, Zaheer threatened that Cassius would accept her or neither of them were coming.

Peaches was recently turned stayed with Zaheer, making her the 3rd person Cassius found. Coming back to town, Cassius went to look for Jac's boat but thought about how she could have already found a new location for them as a refuge. Dante spoke up "So Cass....how many of us is there suppose to be? I mean....if we become a mixture....we can take over this place in no time havin' them witches on our side." Cassius looked back as Peaches wrapped up on Zaheer's arm while Zaheer spoke "SHit....if we don't take over, we can at least make a name for ourselves here and be the new business everybody want."

Cassius shook his head Fellas.....we are only trying to insure our safety. I mean...if we wanna make a business or whatever....we'll see what we can do but first...I need to find Jac first before we make any sort of plans for business purposes and profit. Cassius started using his sense of smell to catch on to Jac's scent.

Ester looked at Alex and chuckled as she noticed in him her sister’s type I suppose I could say I saw her only moments ago but that would be just teasing.

I think the last time I saw my sister was in Montana around 1965; I had a lovely ranch there that was so secluded that many forgot I even existed.

She pulled her phone from her pocket and began to text orders to her people back in her previous home wanting to assure that her three pet hackers be brought along after they had set up her new house.

To someone that has existed as long as I the time since I last saw my sister doesn’t seem all that long ago; you will see as you age what I mean

"Oh yes, I am aware." Alex nodded to Ester in agreement. "I've had the same experiences in my 850 years. Time seems to be undefined sometimes as a vampire. It's almost a moot point." He thought on what she said, "Montana 1965..." He had to think on it. "I was in Louisiana then. Those were nice times but things are much better now." He couldn't help but think about Claudia and he walked over to the window and opened it. He picked up the scent of Piper, Lukas and Claudia but there was another scent and it automatically made Alex's fangs drop in anger. He ran outside and into the woods.

Alex ran towards Claudia using her scent as a guide. He didn't like the thought of that snake oil salesman anywhere near his mate. He heard Piper howl. It was a panicked howl and Lukas's came right away n answer. Alex knew that Claudia would have stayed close to the others that she knew were family, he hoped. He ran in that direction. Alex swore if he got there and Xavier or his wolves had hurt Claudia he would kill them all.

Athos sat on one of the stools and looked at a rather annoyed massive russet furred wolf. Athos idly scratched at Sirius who was in his lap. "You know tiny...full moons really are an inconvenience. I lose my chief for a whole night and then he's all grumpy for the next day" a huff escaped the wolf. "Don't huff at me you're the one with the monthly problem not me" that earned Athos a nip. Both then paused. "I hear howling...will you be joining them or are you continuing your hermit hood" eye roll and then a growl and Athos turned to see a smaller brighter red wolf.

"Ah Xavier I take it my services worked well for you" the wolf nodded and he chuckled. Sirius was placed on the bar and looked heavily offended while Snape seemed to take amusement from that. Athos stood and snapped at Xavier causing the wolf to become a man. Xavier stood and straightened his shirt. "This is an extremly temorary spell so...speak" Cavier cleared his throat and tilted his head. "I need your services once more....and have you considered my offer witch?"

Athos nodded. "I am and will always be neutral. I do not take sides now as for my services let's discuss so quickly" they did and Xavier trotted out of the pub as a wolf once more but with a look that said he got what he went there for. What that was exactly only the three present would know....for now.

Jac’s Home sat about 100 feet offshore and tied to it was a new little Pontoon boat which she’d purchased so that her home would have the added protection of a water barrier. She was worried about where things were going in town knowing that there had been a movement in the local Were Power structure and the previous Alpha was now gone. This activity had disturbed the spirits locally and caused her quite a bit of work in calming them from ripping apart the veil even now.

Sitting with her were her two latest coven members Daphne and Helen who were recovering from their latest spellcasting venture which was made so that they might be able to secure and cleanse the new home that their priestess had purchased for them to use as an assembly point for other coven members.

Jac sipped on a strong Rum and smoked a cigar as she listened to her old friend Daphne from New Orleans go over a list of supplies they had coming up from shops and suppliers around their former home and friends there even hinting that some of the more aggressive witches of that old city might want to join for a chance to exercise their talents. Jac sighed at the last bit because those types might be quick to act without permission causing her to have to spend valuable time just maintaining order in her circle.

Claudia Aluredes

Without anything to do, Claudia ran the whole length of the forest and back. She wondered about the wedding. What was it like for vampires to be wedded? She had been to a few human weddings but was it really the same? It was too bad that it had to be on a full moon. She would have loved to attend...although she wasn't really sure if Lucinda would allow her. A room full of vampires was not really an ideal place for her to be.

As she darted in and out of the trees, her thoughts shifted to Alex. She didn't think it was possible for a vampire and werewolf to have a relationship, much less a romantic one, but she has been greatly proven wrong. What would it be like being married to him? The idea seemed absurd. She'd never heard of a vampire proposing marriage to a werewolf. Sure she had imprinted on him but he can still choose to leave her if he wanted...whenever he wanted. She can't really say that she understood how vampires think but whether there was some cosmic force binding him to her or not, she hoped he felt the same pull to her as she felt for him. Nevertheless, the whole idea of marriage made her heart skip a beat.

Annika listened idly to the conversation between Alex and Ester. "Montana in 1965..." she repeated in a soft voice. At that time, she was in Kazakhstan but her name had been Anya Luminova, the supposed mother of her current persona, Annika Luminova. She had danced and sang in numerous plays and the theaters always displayed her name lit up in brilliant lights. It was amusing that she was now playing the part of a newbie theater actress when she has already played the part of a pro over and over in so many different lifetimes.

She watched as Alex opened the window and then hurried out. The one with the werewolf partner... She didn't mind werewolves but she has never seen them in such close relationship with their kind. Maybe I'll go and meet this werewolf one of these days. If a vampire took a liking to her then she must have some commendable qualities.

Piper had come out of the underbrush in a dead heat running for her life. There was a pack of wolves after her. One of them had bitten her back leg around a corner and it was hurting. Her panicked howl had Lukas running flat out his heart pounding in his chest as he tackled the leader of the pack while going full throttle. Both wolves rolled and tumbled towards the trees. Lukas managed not to hit the tree but only just barely. Hearing the high pitched yelp as his opponent did. Lukas got to his feet and took off after the rest of the pack.

Alex could hear the pack snarling and he heard a couple of wolves growling and a crash and a yelp of pain. "Claudia! Piper! Lukas!"

Piper heard Alex's voice and turned towards his direction. He was ready for them when Piper came nearly flying at him. She moved at the last second and he didn't see Lukas but he saw a whole bunch of other wolves chasing her. Alex kicked the first one right in the face sending it crying in pain as it flew back sideways. The next wolf he grabbed around the ribs as it tried to dart around him to get to Piper. Crushing it he tossed the wolf away to the side. He could hear the third before he could see it. This one lunged at him as it launched itself at him. Alex wrestled with this one a moment or two. This one was faster than the other two in it's attack. When he got a chance to, he sunk his fangs into it's throat and ripped it open. The wolf went limp almost immediately. He turned around to see Piper sitting in her human form looking at her ankle. He heard Lukas and another wolf fighting and when he got there it was Lukas fighting two wolves and he was doing very well so Alex didn't interfere. When Lukas finished he looked up at Alex and changed back to human.

"Piper?" Alex tilted his head towards her up the trail.

"She's up there. Where is Claudia?"

"She split off from us before the attack. She was staying a little closer to the house, to you." Alex nodded. He ran off in that general direction as Lukas ran to Piper.

"Claudia!" Alex shouted.

Claudia Aluredes

Claudia heard the wolf howls. She may not have that mental connection with Lukas and Piper but she knew that there was trouble from the way they called out. She stopped running, lifting her nose to the air to ascertain the situation and to pinpoint exactly where the two wolves were. She heard them before they could jump her. Four... no, five wolves. Her eyes darted to the sides. The wolves began closing in on her. She had nowhere to run. There was nothing left to do but to face them head on. She bared her teeth at them, a low growl in her throat.

She swiped at the first to lunge at her, catching it in the eye. Blinded, it staggered backwards from her. But the distraction of dealing with the first one left her open for attacks. Two wolves simultaneously jumped at her, one of them sank its teeth in her nape while the other bit down on her hind leg. She growled with the pain as she tried to shake them off. A new pain blossomed in her side as she felt sharp claws slash her open. She staggered forward, her teeth tearing at the wolf closest to her mouth. It yelped in pain but she bit down hard and refused to let go. Another wolf came down upon her and her legs buckled beneath her.

Alex caught her scent and that of several other wolves. Alex ran towards Claudia and he heard Piper and Lukas behind him following quickly. He jumped over the objects in his way whereas they had to go around. When Alex saw them there was four on her at once tearing and thrashing as they were ripping into her. Alex roared and he jumped on them tearing them apart. He heard two others coming out of the woods and he heard Lukas and Piper fall back and take those out. Alex was ripping out throats and pulling them off of Claudia as quickly as he could. "Claudia!" he tossed the last off of her. When it got up Piper attacked it and tore it's throat out.

Alex slit his wrist and put it up to Claudia's mouth and made certain it went down her throat. "Come on baby, don't leave me!" Alex cradled her in his arms and Lukas and Piper changed back to human. "Is she okay? Piper asked.

Alex never took his eyes off of Claudia. "She should be. Those were Xavier's wolves. What the hell were they doing on Prescott property? Looks like I'll have to talk to Xavier." The tone of his voice sounded threatening to anyone's ears but piper knew what it meant. He was going to take on the pack himself.

The injuries that the wolves inflicted on Claudia was too extensive that even Alex's blood wasn't enough to heal her instantaneously. She would have reverted back to her human form in her weakened state but the full moon kept her in her lupine form. From somewhere in the darkness she had sunk into, she could hear Alex's voice calling out her name. She wanted to lift her head, call out his name or even move a paw. But her body felt like lead and even a single twitch of a muscle exploded pain in her. She felt something warm and irony flow down her throat. Her body reflexively coughed. She wanted to open her eyes, to see what has happened. But she was too tired. She just wanted to sleep. To drift off into a place where pain no longer existed. She gave out a soft whine before she fell into unconsciousness.

Xavier was trotting. His ears swiveling and he stopped. No! he ran but then hid in a bush. Dead wolves his wolves. They had acted against his orders they had done this. He watched his plans burn away and snarled softly. Those dumbasses wrecked his god damn plans. He shook his head and looked upward. Sirius and Snape perched in a tree watching them. Xavier snarled at the birds and knew the witch was watching.

Damn it. If he could pull off convincing that damn witch to join him he would be powerful beyond measure. He looked back at the scene. damn it he looked back at the crows then back at the heavily injured she wolf. Trying to convey that he wanted the witch to help. Snape cawed and ruffled his feathers. damn witch he reversed further into hiding and hoped that witch would come. Running now would look worse...ugh this is not what he wanted.

Alex North

Alex picked up Claudia and carried her at high speed back to the house and straight into the living room. He growled at those in the house and took her straight to his room. Piper and Lukas went straight to their room and then into Alex and Claudia's room after Piper threw clothes on. Alex put her on top of the bed and covered her up with a blanket so she wouldn't be exposed to eyes when she reverted to human. Lukas stood at the foot of the bed out of the way, still a wolf because of the full moon while Piper brought a clean wet towel to help locate and sop up blood.

Alex looked at Piper and said, "I want you to feed her. You are part wolf so it might be easier on her somehow. I'll work on the other injuries." Piper was not sure she agreed with him but she fed Claudia. Alex slit his wrist again and soaked her other injuries and they seemed to heal a little faster than they were before.

Alex looked completely broken. There were tears in his eyes and he spoke to Piper. "I need your opinion. You live in both worlds. Am I putting her in danger by keeping her with me? If she weren't with me she wouldn't have been on the property and she wouldn't have been injured."

Piper kept silent for a moment as she cleaned the blood out of Claudia's fur as it healed. "Alex, you know I'll always love you. What we had was wonderful and I'll always cherish that." She stopped cleaning the fur and looked at him.

"You can't worry about everything that might or might not happen. You have to live your life and live it in a way that makes you happy. The two of you together, have the kind of love most people only dream of. If you let her go your life will be full of regret for the rest of your life and she would be so miserable. She imprinted on you. She can't stay away, no matter what you do or say she can't be far from you for long it will make her hurt, she craves being with you and the love in the eyes and actions of the two of you when you are together is breathtaking to see." She stood up and hugged him When she let go she smacked him upside the head lightly with a smile on her face. "Don't you dare leave her. It would be the biggest mistake you ever made." Piper kissed his cheek and he kept staring at his mate. Lukas trotted out of the room after Piper.

Lucinda was standing in the doorway watching the entire scene. When they had come in she had run into her room and changed into casual clothes so she could go with them if need be. She stepped just inside the doorway.

"Piper's right you know. You two are perfect for each other. We'll all be there for her. She is family. She is not alone and you don't have to worry about that." He looked at his maker and and nodded. "Thank you Lucinda."

Alex covered Claudia back up and he climbed into bed behind her and put his arm around her carefully. He kept talking to her whispering into her ear how much he loved her and telling her to come back to him. Lucinda quietly closed the door.
