Ashley heard the emotion in Alex’s tone and was in motion moving with deceptive grace and speed to the origin point of the call and arrived moments after her mistress had sent Alex to fetch Tabitha the other Original. It was a brutal sight that greeted her but then not her first and it did remind her of her first Mistress’s death and filled her with a dread that history was repeating itself.

So it was because of that Ashley felt compelled to check the specialized glock hidden beneath her jacket and move closer to her Ladyship protectively prepared to protect her or give her life in an effort to delay her attacker if one should appear. Though she was only human she was the best example of her race to be found and if she’d not have been a Blood Doll then she’d have been an elite soldier or agent in any security forces around the world; possibly even an assistant director or even a director. She was highly trained on many subjects and how to handle threats for the three races arcane and their hybrids even if in almost all those scenarios she was only a delaying tactic or living shield allowing Lucinda to escape or fight back against her assaulter.

Any who could detect her heart beat may have been surprised that even in such a tense situation her heartbeat was slow and steady and her breathing controlled as she lost her presence once more blending into the background.

Callie & Caius

Collaboration of @Caits & @Kyrisse

Caius nodded at Lucinda and then looked towards Piper. He stepped away, preferring not to be involved in what was obviously a family squabble. If Claudia was with Alex then she'd be safe. Unless Alex decides to do away with her, of course. But like most twins, they had this strong connection that allows them to sense if the other is in danger or in pain. Not feeling anything at the moment, he assumed that she was fine. He led Callie towards the bar where Tabitha was with a blonde angry looking vampire.

Tabitha met them halfway and began apologizing to him. He let her finish before he shook his head. "I suppose an apology from me is in order too. I knew you had taken a liking to Callie by her stories about you. While I didn't know that you planned on turning her, I just wanted to...no...I needed to claim her for my own. And for my selfishness, I'm sorry," he paused. "As for Samuel's pack...No, we have not allied ourselves with them nor with anyone. We are merely observers though if anything were to happen to Callie at their hands, I will not hesitate to attack. I am sure Claudia would feel the same way if Alex's life were to be put in danger." He nodded. "I will set up a meeting with the pack leader. I'm sure he will be willing to listen to what you have to say."

Tabitha pondered that a moment, but supposed she really didn't have a right to be angry, when she couldn't fight destiny. And wasn't that a pain in the butt? "I suppose I get that. Imprinting is hard to understand, yet we vampires have our own form, in a way. Sometimes we just find the one that makes the long, unending years more bearable. It still annoys me to no end, but fate is something that can't be fought, I suppose." She sighed softly, and shook her head, her pink locks bouncing about.

"Great. I'm thinking it might be best if I do it without Lucinda, at least...she has a problem with wolves, as you've seen..." she trailed off, closing her eyes a moment. There was no point getting herself worked up again. She disliked this...sane view, and wanted very much to get back to her garden. Or a painting. Or even some music. Maybe even jumping about on her gigantic mattress...or she could build a cubby house inside a room. A house inside a house, now, that was awesome.

Drifting, she looked back to Caius and Callie. She blinked. "but maybe after the full moon"

Was imprinting really that strong, Callie wondered, unconsciously reaching up to touch her shoulder, nervousness filling her stomach, a million fluttering butterflies there. Hearing Caius say he simply needed to claim her...it both made her feel...wonderful. She hoped after her transformation she'd be able to share his feelings, utterly and completely, She didn't need to be a wolf to know that Caius was who she wanted.

"You're not selfish, Caius. I came with you voluntarily, I wanted you, I did it willingly." She said, "And I'd do it again" She said simply. She looked to Tabitha, wishing she could give the vampire some solace, but what could she do or say?

Caius looked towards Lucinda as she addressed him and put him in charge of the bar. He nodded towards her and then turned back to Tabitha. He smiled politely at her and then leaned towards Callie and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "I'll give you some time alone with each other while I go do my job." he excused himself and assumed his place behind the bar, eyeing the hole in it as he did. He looked at the blonde vampire and at the empty glass in front of him. "There's no need to yell, sir. Now, would you like another whiskey or something else?"

Callie watched Caius go to the bar, supposing she had interrupted his work enough the last little while, but couldn't stop a twinge of regret as she watched him go, before looking to Tabitha. She gave the vampire a tentative smile, and was about to say something, when Tabitha seemed to tense, looking past her. Calie glanced back, frowning as she saw Alex. Was that Blood? She shouldn't have been surprised, given that they were vampires, and yet, so far she hadn't seen them be so entirely sloppy like that. Tabitha took a step back, shaking her head furiously, sending her pink locks flying wildly.

"No. No. No. Go away. GO AWAY" Tabitha roared, a shocking sound to come out of one so small, and for perhaps the first time, Callie saw the Vampire behind the girl. Tabitha stepped back, ended up against a table, shaking badly, and Callie tried to figure out what was wrong.

Tabitha couldn't take her eyes off Alex, a roaring in her head. She shook, a sick feeling in her stomach, and she looked wildly around for Garrett, knowing that if something bad had happened, he would be here, to her, if he could. And yet he wasn't there. Not seeing him, Tabitha sshook her head wildly, stepping away, as far as she could.

Lucinda Elloise Prescott

Lucinda went to Garrett's body the instant Alex left. There was no way that Grant should have been able to kill Garrett on his own. She rolled him over and there was a White Ash Dagger in his chest immobilizing him. A few inches over there was a white Oak Stake. Lucinda gasped and covered the two items in a towel she found nearby that he had been using to clean up paint with. She pulled these out of his body and took them inside the house and slipped them inside her safe and locked them up good and tight. She pulled his head over and the tears streamed down her face as she put his head near his body and she tried to make him look a little less horrifying. She was worried about Tabitha. She wasn't sure how she would take it. Lucinda had always worried about Tabitha. She seemed so child like sometimes, so fragile. She had been like a sister to her for twelve hundred years.

Tabitha, Alex and Lucinda

with @Caits

Alex looked at Tabitha as she stared at him. It was only then he realized that she was smelling Garrett's blood on him. He walked towards her slowly. "Tabitha, Lucinda sent me to get you." Alex reached over and gently took her hand in his. "Aunt Tabby, Garrett...Grant killed him...I walked in just after it happened and I killed Grant."

Tabitha shook her head wildly, trying to move further away from Alex, she pushed around the table, not sure what she was even thinking. That if she moved far enough away, it wouldn't be true? "No. No, you're wrong. Go away, leave me alone" It couldn't happen again, could it? She couldn't lose someone she loved again, not like this, not just after finding it, not after...not after it made her feel whole. Perfect. It couldn't be true.

It simply couldn't.

She turned away, beginning to move through what clients were left in the bar, seeking an exit, a place to run, something, anything. Because it just couldn't be.

Alex grabbed Tabitha and pulled her to him. He held her for a moment. His heart was breaking for her and his own tears were starting up again. This had been his uncle the man had been in his afterlife for 850 years. "I have to take you there. I'm sorry." Alex picked her up and dodged the flying punches and even though she was an original and could pack quite a punch Alex tossed her over his shoulder and ran back to the house. When he put her down he looked at Lucinda. "Did you figure out what happened?" Lucinda nodded. "Tabby...."

Tabitha snarled, kicked, scratched, hit and even for a brief moment considered bite Alex, anything to get him to put her down, to let her go, to simply leave her alone. She fled as soon as he put her down, ignoring Lucinda, knowing she didn't want to hear the words, knowing she couldn't. But there was no where to run to. No safe place anymore.

There was nothing.

She darted outside, the sun for once feeling like doom and gloom. And then didn't know where to go.

Lucinda stepped in front of Tabitha and she grabbed her in a ferocious hug and she cried with her. When Lucinda got herself under control again she looked at Tabitha. "I know you loved him, I did too. You don't have to see him if you don't want to but you need to know what happened because we have to find out who helped Grant to do this. You know that there is no way that he could have killed Garrett on his own. Do you want to know what he did?"

Tabitha pushed Lucinda away from her. How could Lucinda understand? Tabitha hadn't had the luxury of having any feelings for any man that had come through. Lucinda had. She couldn't understand what Tabitha was feeling, experiencing. she shook her head, stepping back from Lucinda. "You don't understand" She roared, "I can't wait around another eight hundred years for someone to love me again. I can't just love anyone that comes along, I can't make myself feel something if there's nothing there.

Garrett was it for me. You can't understand. He was it, Lucinda.i don't need to know what happened. I don't want to know what happened. My projects, my eccentric behavior, made it easier to bare the fact that I couldn't have Garrett. And then when I did? It made life so much better. It made me feel like I was actually living. There's nothing now."

Perhaps Lucinda had never understood her at all. She didn't want to be there. How could she be? She moved around Lucinda, shaking.

Lucinda looked at her in disbelief. Tabitha had had many admirers in the past but apparently she hadn't seen them in her attempts to bury herself in her projects. "Tabitha, you are very loved. You have a family that loves you so much. I love you! We've been sisters for twelve hundred years. There will never be another Garrett...there can't be but...you don't have to grieve for an eternity. Open your heart when you are ready and let people in." Lucinda was feeling so overwhelmed. Alex looked up as Piper came outside.

"What happened? What's going on?" The fear in her eyes was exacerbated when she saw Tabitha's face. "No!..No!" She peered at the head just past Alex's feet. Grant's head made her stop and she glanced at the shed which was open and she walked over to it and saw the bodies. She screamed and cried. Alex watched as Lukas came flying out the door and cradled her in his arms. He turned away from them. His concern was Tabitha.

"Tabitha," Alex was an odd one to be comforting her but he felt so terrible. If he had any idea that this would have happened he would have killed Grant the first time he saw him instead of allowing him to live after trying to wrestle him into a hold that he obviously thought he couldn't get out of. Instead he had let Piper handle it because it would have upset Garrett if he pummeled his kid into the dirt. Hindsight was always 100%. If... If... If... there were just too many ifs that would have changed this. "Please let me hold you." Alex put his arms around her tightly and hugged her. He needed her forgiveness for not knowing and doing something about it beforehand.

"See, you don't understand" Tabitha cried, "Some people don't get many chances, and I've lost the only two people who made me feel alive. Two people, Lucinda, in 1200 years. I'm not like you! There will be no one else!" It just made it a thousand times worse when Piper appeared. It was all her fault, all Pipers fault that Grant was even around, that none of them had attacked him because it would have upset her. Her fault they even gave Grant a chance.

Tabitha might have done something drastic, if Alex hadn't hugged her.

She broke, utterly and completely, her small frame somehow smaller, turning to hide her face, tears breaking through, she clutched at Alex, but he wasn't what she wanted. She didn't want to be there, didn't want to be at the house, on the grounds.

Lucinda came over and put her arms around both Alex and Tabitha.

Claudia Aluredes

Claudia was slowly drifting off to sleep beside Alex as he watched TV, her cheek resting on his shoulder and both her hands curled possessively on his arm. She cracked open an eye and whined softly when he stood up but made no move to stop him. She watched his back as he stepped out of the room before she snuggled towards his side of the bed, his scent on it making her smile contentedly. She was almost fully asleep when she heard a scruffle coming from outside the house. She immediately sat up, wide awake and alert. She remained silent, letting her enhanced hearing tell her what's happening. When she heard Alex yell, she was immediately on her feet. The house may still be unfamiliar to her but following Alex's scent led her to the shed out back. When she got there, her eyes fell on a crying Lucinda and the male original...she hasn't met him yet but she heard his name being mentioned a couple of times. Garrett. He had been decapitated. Alex was no where in sight.

Not wanting to intrude into something that she's not supposed to, she hung back several feet away and silently watched.

Even when Alex and the rest of the family came to the shed, Claudia still hung back and remained silent. She may be with Alex but she doesn't consider herself a part of this family. A few minutes later, she turned and walked away. It was the decent thing to do, to give them time alone with each other. Hearing Tabitha's anguished words made her feel like she was eavesdropping on something that should only be kept within the family.

(Super rough post sorry >.<)

After Lucinda left Andrew turned to Layla with a wry smile,"Looks like I have some explaining to do, I should've told you more beforehand." Layla rolled her eyes as she sat down on one of the few unbroken chairs. "I guess I'll start with the beginning. I was turned by one of the three Original vampires, Lucinda who you just met. Piper who you just saw get punched through the wall is my hybrid sister, she is half vampire half werewolf. The wolf who just left is a subordinate of Samuel the pack-leader around here who wants to conquer all three races." Andrew was continuing to explain the current situation as well as tell Layla more about the family when Alex ran in. He had blood on him and Andrew picked up a familiar scent from it. Tabitha's reaction confirmed what his own senses were telling him. As Alex carried Tabitha out Andrew turned to Layla, "Layla we have to go, Now." "What happened?""Something very bad, cmon." Andrew grabbed her hand and they sprinted out of the bar heading towards the mansion, when they got there everyone was in the back. "Dammit! Grant that fucking bastard, he is lucky Alex got to him first, I wouldn't have let him die so quickly."

The presence of more people wasn't want Tabitha wanted, or in fact needed. She stiffened in Alex's grasp, and she wriggled away, backing away from everyone like a cornered, wounded animal, wanting to escape, but not seeing a way. Her gaze flickered to all of them, and then she darted out of the room, not even sure where she was going, but knowing she couldn't stay there. There was just...too much.

Unconsiously, she followed the familiar scent of Holly, her only spawn in the area.

Holly smiled, accepting the drink, but more focused on the crows for the moment, continuing to stroke them. "Such pretty birds" she cooed to them, leaning back in her chair, she was pleased, looking to Athos, "Don't worry, your secrets are safe with me" She chuckled, although she was sure that anyone with a basic biology background could figure that out, and she was just about to say something, when she heard something, turning around slightly, seeing Tabitha there, she went to smile, but something stopped her.

Rising, everything else forgotten, Holly went over to Tabitha, who now appeared confused as to how she'd gotten there. "Mama? Whats wrong?" But Tabitha didn't say anything, shaking her head. Hesitating, Holly hugged her, thinking that she seemed so small, and fragile.

Lucinda grabbed Alex's arm as his first instinct was to keep Tabitha safe. "Let her go for now Alex. She will come back when she is ready." Lucinda looked up and saw Andrew and she went to his arms and let him comfort her. Alex started making a funeral pyre in the back of the property. Once he got it built and lit he carried the bodies over to burn them. He wondered where Claudia had gone but he understood why she left.

Piper and Lukas helped Alex but Piper had to stop when it came to moving the bodies. She couldn't look at Garrett because it hurt to much but she spat on Grant's body in anger. Lukas looked at Piper and said. "From what I understand you brought him here right?" She shook her head. "No, when I got here I saw him and stopped him. I made them get along, at least for a little while." "So if it weren't for you then there wouldn't have been any peace between them even if it was only temporary." She shrugged. "It doesn't matter, he still killed him." Lukas went after her still trying to make her see that it wasn't her fault even if it felt like it was.

Alex stayed there til there was nothing left. Lucinda and Andrew did until the fire was raging and she needed to lay down. She went in alone to her room.

Athos nodded to Jac and went back behind the bar. "I must warn you....I only have whats in these six barrels here." he then grabbed a beer mug and filled it with a dark colored beer. "This one is a favorite. Spiced orange" he placed the mug in front of her and glanced over at his crows with a look of amusement. "Spoiled beasts." he gave a nod at what holly had said though he honestly wasnt worried about secrets getting out since he was well skilled.

his attention snapped up when he heard tabitha come in. He tilted his head. "Lass...pray tell what has you sullen so" curiosity laced his voice as he watched the two women. Perhaps she could use his services.

Tabitha pressed herself against Holly, trying to take comfort. To not feel so lost, but it wasn't helping. She didn't even seem to hear Athos as he spoke, but Holly looked back at the warlock, then back to Tabitha. "I don't think its anything good...I've never seen her like this" With a strength that defied her statue, Holly carried Tabitha back to her chair, settling her in her lap, and hugging Tabitha to her tight, figuring she didn't need to know what was wrong, to simply try and comfort her.

"He's dead" Tabitha's voice was small, broken, and Holly couldn't remember a time hearing it like that. She paused in stroking Tabitha's hair. "Oh, Mama..."

Athos had a look of concern and made his way over. He crouched in front of tabitha to make them more eye level. "can I help you?" he seemed to dislike upset people. Perhaps that goes into how he was raised. He may be neutral but the urge to care was still present.

Tabitha didn't know the stranger askingif they could help, and she curled in closer against Holly, almost fearful. Holly hesitated, looking to Athos, and asking softly "What could you do? I don't think there's a spell to fix a broken heart" She said, looking back down to Tabitha, wanted to soothe, to heal, to make her feel better, but knowing she couldn't. She wasn't able to even know how her mother felt, much less how to make it better. "I've never seen her like this..."

Athos shook his head. "A broken heart no. But there are loopholes for that." he sat back to give tabitha more space. "potions are quite helpful it just depends on how you want to do this. A potion to hate the one you loved....a potion to forget someone" he then tilted his head. "Or i could put a spell on you. Those are more fickle" he looked at holly for a moment. "All have reversals" the last part was unsaid. A reversal in case something went wrong. Or tabitha was ready...either way.

Tabitha shook her head wildly. Holly hesitated, and then said "I don't think you can wipe away 1200 plus years of knowing someone, without effecting her greatly." Nor did she think it a wise option-just in her short extended life, Holly had met people that had changed her. What would would happen to Tabitha if she was made to forget someone that had been a part of her life for so long? Holly didn't like to think on that.

"It hurts..." Holly looked back down to Tabitha, completely at a loss for what to do.

Athos nodded then seemed to think. "How about something to allow you to get drunk" he tilted his head. "And I'll keep thinking of something that won't destroy your mind" he stood and held out his hand. It seemed he truly wanted to help her. Which he did but that large amount of memories complicated any spell he could do. Potions were fairly standard but again the large memory pool. For right now he was a bit stumped.

Tabitha, unable to stay in the same town where, for a brief while, she had had what could have been everything, took Holly, kidnapped Callie, who she still thought of as her witch, and even adopted a werwolf by the name of Madison on the way out of town, left, perhaps never to be seen from again.

Alex North

Alex felt numb about losing Garrett. He wondered if Lucinda's siblings would come out now. He figured that they probably would. He walked into the house and nodded at Lukas as he was comforting Piper. Alex took a shower and changed then went to the bar figuring that Claudia would be there. Alex walked into the bar and went into the back office.

Lucinda Elloise Prescott

Lucinda got a text from Tabitha and it said I can't stay here, I'm taking mine and leaving forever-Tabitha. Lucinda dropped her phone her hands shaking a little. She had never been without them in 1200 years they were each other's rock. Lucinda picked up her phone and dialed.

"Ashley can you have Garrett, Tabitha and Holly's rooms emptied and ready? And please get rid of those 11 mattresses in that one room and have the shed dismantled and a new one put up. I don't want that one here any longer."

Cassius

The fight didn't take long as Dante finished off the new blood vamp and were, the way that Cassius claimed his old acquaintance would do. Wasn't too many happy faces while one bidder was trash talking Cassius about the set up, only to be approached by him, towering over to 5'5 man. Well then, if you're that butt hurt about it and you really want your money back, why don't you get in there and fight him, leprechaun pimp? Dante walked over looking at the shorter man, cracking his knuckles, wanting him to bitch some more.

The man backed away quietly with his 5 dollar slut "Come on honey bunny....we can find better action..." he said walking off. Cassius turned to Dante Like old times needle dick? Dante chuckled "Like old times super douche....but what the fuck are you doing here?" he asked

Cassius had a serious look on his face Look....just get dressed and follow me and I'll explain everything...alright? he said.

Further in town, sitting in a diner, Dante looked on with a laugh "You....trying to save my ass? HA! and then you have some witch chick too? Cass....what the hell is wrong with you? Witches are dangerous as hell....curses and shit.....and one has you pussy whipped enough for you to trust her?" First off I'm not pussy whipped, nor under a spell and the idea belongs to both of us...not just hers. Look, I'm just taking precautions and bringing you on our side. I know you and I are lone wolves but....we are better off needing a place to crash until things calm and I don't wanna see you go down with the others of our kind. You and another guy I knew....you two were first on the list to bring over.

"Dude...I don't fuckin know about this....I'm more than likely to attack the witches than to join them." But how many packs or covens or groups do you see with a full mixture of beings like ourselves. Look...just give it a try and if you don't like it....you will be free to walk away...

"Will there be plenty of action?" Cassius had to think for a moment Pretty sure.....pretty sure... as he was unsure. Dante sighed "Alright....fuck it....I'm in...." with a smirk, Cassius nodded Alright, after we leave from here...I need to look for another homie of mine....he's like us and a lone wolf as well...names, Zaheer....

Jac took the beer and drank a bit before adding her own rum to it then found herself an out of the way table cast mostly in shadows so that she could observe the Pub a bit more before really committing herself to any negotiation.

She was worried about the swirling array of spirits she’d been encountering lately who were obviously vengeance spirits and the darkest from beyond the veil who could become so foul a problem that they might render the living world a nightmare landscape.

@Wick@dabombjk@Venku@King Tai@BlackPanther@Eviledd1984

Lady Prescott commanded "Ashley can you have Garrett, Tabitha and Holly's rooms emptied and ready? And please get rid of those 11 mattresses in that one room and have the shed dismantled and a new one put up. I don't want that one here any longer."

Ashley nodded answering As you Command My Lady

She immediately got on her phone and called a discrete moving service that she’d recently vetted when having her own home remodeled and put in a large emergency work order. She wanted all the items in the described rooms removed and the carpets removed the walls repainted with a low scent type of paint that while expensive would cover or obliterate any smells the former tenants left behind.

She had many new tasks now with recent events and they required that she assemble a security staff of both Guardians and Investigators from scratch in an unfamiliar area and bereft of any political or social connections. This while difficult was not an insurmountable task and could be accelerated by the inclusion of the universal solvent and lubricant; Money.

She knew that soon she’d be charming and seducing politicians to do her bidding and enact any coverups necessary. She was the best person for the job because of training, experience and confidence. So as she worked on one level she began thinking about her possible avenues that would acomplish goals the quickest and Blackmail an Bribery came to the top.

Ester was enjoying the latest show of artists whom she’d been sponsoring when she received a troubling call from Lucinda urgently requesting she come to her aid. Never one to refuse the call for help from a family member she summoned her servants and informed them that she was flying to Cleveland that day to be accompanied by her six body servants the rest of her retinue to follow once she's established herself.

An hour later a small convoy of vehicles pulled through the gates of a private airfield and drove without stopping to a closed hangar entering through a flip door garage to park near a Twin Turboprop Beechcraft King which was just finishing preflight. Four men and two women dressed in dark understated clothing climbed out of the three large sedans and secured the doors before Ester exited the center vehicle and walked to her personal aircraft and boarded.

She could maintain her lavish lifestyle because she was viewed as one of the most eccentric dealers in rare antiquities as well as owning a large stable of desirable young and established artists and a publishing company and her need for security and unusual methods causing little to no notice which is exactly how she liked it. She was to say the least a standout among her staff appearing to be little more than a Hippie chick or a peasant woman of no small beauty catching a ride with some wealthy friends. This was not to say that she never dressed to impress but only a reflection of her enjoyment of simplicity in her life as a whole where personal matters were concerned.

It was a three hour flight from the Montana artist enclave which had been her home now for several years to the little Airport just outside of Cleveland then an hour of waiting in a closed hangar as her people checked the two SUVs they’d arranged to have waiting; no reason to drop your guard simple because you lacked patience.

Once everything was checked out her staff changed to less uniform attire wearing their casual clothing so they wouldn't stand out so much like a bunch of corporate types. They drove using a rented chevy impala as a scout vehicle to see to their Mistresses safety all the way to a neighborhood of slightly questionable safety finally pulling up parking area beside a small but nicely laid out mansion.

Here her staff had to do something totally alien to them and allow their Mistress to proceed into the unsecured building alone and unarmed. She for her part was both touched and amused by her staff’s worry and planned on seeing they were rewarded handsomely once they were settled in.

So it was with an amused smile that Ester walked in allowing here senses to expand seeking her troubled sister Lucinda.

Lucinda Elloise Prescott

Lucinda answered the door and hugged her youngest sibling tightly to her and she was trying to keep from crying. "I'm so glad you are here. The others are coming too." Lucinda looked at the entourage that accompanied her little sister and laughed. "You would think the president were here! Look at all of those people just to make sure you got here safely. Lol of course they don't know that you could walk through a fire and come out okay." She chuckled. "It's so good to see you. One hundred and fifty years is just too long!" Lucinda looked up and saw Ashley standing by as always and she told Ester, "Ashley will see to whatever you need or want. Just tell her and she makes it happen. I would be lost without her!"

"When the others get here we have something serious to discuss." Lucinda looked up and saw Lukas come out of the hallway. "Lukas, this is my sister Ester." Lukas came in and smiled at Ester. "Pleased to meet you." He said kissing her hand softly. Piper came in and smiled at Lukas kissing her aunt's hand and chuckled. "He is such a gentleman. Hey Aunt Ester!" Piper hugged her tightly and kissed her cheek.

When Daren got the call from Lucinda it confirmed what he already sensed, Garret was killed. It was a good thing he was alone in northern Siberia following up on clues about how he and his siblings came to be, otherwise he would be surrounded by dead bodies. It took him hours to get to his personal airstrip, where he got into the pilot seat of his jet and left for the states, Ohio in particular. It was a long flight over 4 hours even in his Mach 2 jet. He landed it at a secret airfield that was owned by one of his contacts in the government.

When he reached Elyria he drove to the manor in a black 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429. When he arrived he noticed that he wasn't the first arrival. He walked in the front door to see his sisters and niece talking. "Sorry I took so long getting here, has anything else happened since we last spoke?"

Annika Prescott
Presently known as Annika Luminova

Come to Ohio.

Ani looked at the LCD of her phone, at that simple text message that came from a sibling she hasn't heard from for over a thousand years. She stared at the words as if trying to find some hidden meaning in them. What did Lucinda need from her? She was curious, yes, but she didn't know if she should indulge that curiosity.

"Annika, the stage is yours," her assistant Irina called out.

Ani looked towards the woman, nodded and stood up. It was the last curtain call before they officially declare the season over. She can hear the audience applauding and chanting her name. And so she plastered the most charming smile she can muster on her face and walked out on stage to grace them with her presence one last time. The theater erupted in cheers and applause.

Several hours later, she was on a plane flying from Kazakhstan to America.

The next day, she stepped out of a cab in front of Lucinda's house. She paused at the door, hesitating if she really should proceed or not. But since she had taken the effort to fly all the way here, it would be foolish not to go in. And so, she reached out, opened the door and stepped in.

Apparently, she was just in time for the little family reunion. She could hear voices coming from the living room. She wasn't sure if they would be happy to see her. When she finally stepped in the room, there was Lucinda, Daren, Ester, a werewolf, a strange hybrid and a human.

Xavier-Werewolf

Xavier walked with a confidence that seemed to pulsate off of him in waves and a smile that seemed to shout that he had accomplished something devious. He strode past the pub that he had visited a short time ago and seemed to chuckle. He went straight into the vampire territory and directly into the vampire nightclub. He shook his head and walked right in. Instead of going to the vampires present he took a seat and waited for them to come to him.

He sat with the same air of confidence he walked with and had a look that seemed to tell nothing. He clasped his hands and waited. He was smartly dressed in a black Italian suit with a red button up shirt to go with. His eyes watching them move about and he knew they would smell what he was just like how he could smell what they were.

Lucinda Elloise Prescott

Lucinda was hugging Darren when Annika walked through the door. "Anni!" She grabbed her into a bear hug and they all hugged and kissed each other. It had been close to a 1000 years since they had all been in the same place at one time. After they all sat down Lucinda got quiet for a minute to gather her thoughts.

"Garrett was killed and Tabitha ran away afterwards. I'm more concerned with Garrett's death. As you know we are nearly impossible to kill. This was a meticulously planned kill. Garrett's born vampire son, Grant was the murderer and he had mentioned to Piper that it was his mission to kill his father. He also mentioned having a master that he followed."

"Garrett was stabbed with the White Ash Dagger, the The White Oak Stake and then Grant beheaded him." She looked up to see their expressions then continued. "We need to know who ordered this hit and keep them from trying to kill us and from killing our children. On top of that we have a looming war with werewolves to attend to as well. I have a nightclub/bar in town called Bitten that Alex is partnered with me on and he is running it, his Girlfriend Claudia is a werewolf. This is my hybrid daughter Piper and her werewolf boyfriend Lukas. This is Ashley my assistant she is the best. Anything you need she is the go to person to get it done. Andrew is here somewhere. Okay let's hear your questions. I know you have them."

Ester sighs after all the emotions displayed then pulls back her hood allowing her golden hair to fall out and across her shoulders.

This is a terrible blow of course and clearly demonstrates the need to work closely together but it also makes me wonder if this is the reason for the latest and most brutal attack; to bring us all together that is.

I am thankful for your offer of Ashley’s aid and offer in return placing her in command of my staff once they arrive for as well trained as they are they lack the secret knowledges to truly understand their situation that she has. Frankly I am jealous that you’ve obtained a Van Wilder my Sister but you were always the lucky one.

Alex North

Alex watched the wolf in the black Italian suit with a red button up shirt when he came in and sat down. He motioned to the new waitress that he would get this one. Alex was still easily agitated these days. He was worried about Grant's master and who ordered Garrett's death. He was keeping a very close eye on Claudia and the rest of his family. He needed to hire another couple of bartenders. Caius had taken off when Callie left with Tabitha and that had put him in a mood as well. Of course Claudia understood but she seemed to be a little down since then. He could tell she missed her brother. He missed his bartender too.

Alex walked over to the man who appeared to be very confident, bordering on cocky. Alex was irritated at that alone. "What do you want?" He figure it would work either way, if he answered with a drink order then great. If he answered with an attitude he would toss him on his head. He wasn't in a good mood.
