I wonder if it's that No Child Left Behind act, I heard that was a doubled edged sword.
That sounds awful, I've heard of tests and all that not mattering with children passing anyway in some instances, but to hear the process from someone involved that's actually depressing.
I know a college teacher who left teaching middle school, the moment the kids started becoming the enemy to her, that's where she drew the line.
Though I know a few that enjoy teaching, more than likely because the class is responsive, it's rewarding when they walk away with the knowledge.
The ones that don't care sometimes find out too late how important it was.
