Seven goodness sake...not even as a sub teacher or anything? Seven said no, the market for teachers must be a harsh one. I did not expect that.

I have four more interviews on Monday and Tuesday and I'm praying someone has mercy on me T_T But I'm moving away nonetheless

Did you have any luck with your interviews?

I think I might be getting a new job at a high school, but I'm waiting for HR to call me and ask if I'll accept. The principal is pretty set on me having the job, but she can't just give it to me.

Well that's fantastic news, a bit of good fortune after all those interviews.

I GOT IT :D I'm officially teaching high school English this next year! Yaaaay!

I'm officially hired and moved in to a new apartment, and we got our interwebs set up today :D

As soon as the whirlwind stops, I can actually sit down and soak it all in lol
But I've got training Monday and Tuesday for this whole new thing I've never heard of before- it's like half online, half in class for helping kids who are like two grade levels down to get on reading level, or at least to a higher one

The internet's been integrated into most classes, even mine have some involvement. At the very least the help is there to catch them up.

Also sorry for the long wait, college started and it was hectic for a bit but it's calmed down now so I've returned.

Trust me, I understand. My first day of work is tomorrow, and next Monday school starts for my kids and for me XD

The kind of chaos that followed the last few weeks, I'm back now.

Oh trust me, I completely understand that. I was a little overwhelmed with having so much to do between classes and teaching/grading/planning

Oh no it's quite all right I've been in the same boat.
I got a new job and school picked up so I'd log on and go "All right gotta post" only to realize I needed to turn in for an early shift.
I'd decided to post the next day and would completely miss my chance.
Speaking of which I'll have a post up tomorrow, or...technically today going off the hour.

Alright, finally squeaked something in. I'm glad you got a new job, is it something you were hoping to get?? I know mine is proving to be more challenging that I originally anticipated, but I like a challenge. Plus it's more of challenging me to do all aspects of my job, including things previous experience had really reiterated to me as important. Like updating my board >_< I never really weighed the importance of updating it but I got lectured about how it was really bad for me not to so I was "making a perma alert on my phone to do that"

...it has been a long month and thanks to all merciful heavens it's almost over.
Sorry for my extended absence I ended up caught up in so many things I found little time to enjoy the finer things.
My job anyway is indeed one I do like, but it'll be soon so I'm already working on another job. That's a good mindset to have, there's something satisfying about taking on a challenge and completing it.

I will have a post up in the next few days as I'm still settling a few extra affairs, I finally found some time to sit down so I wanted to give some kind of written update in the OOC.
