You were once human you had a normal life or maybe you were someone special? You could have been an accountant or maybe you were a thief you could have been a teacher or even a politician. Although that doesn't matter anymore as you died a human but you were given another chance. This time you wake up and notice that you are in a cave and can hear the crying of your brothers and sisters. You have been reborn and have been reborn as a goblin in an unknown world.

You were born weak and you have little to no memory of your life before but their is one thing you do know even before you can speak. You must eat and get stronger. Their is a Goblin aged very well and had coverings around their body. Today you are born and you must fight to survive.

Yes this is a Re:Monster rp and this rp will allow many different kinds of evolution paths. We want people that will be dedicated to making this work. Quantity is not as important as quality here so we want people that can at least keep up the casual minimum in post length. This is only the interest check but I will put up a character template for everyone so they can have a plan of what to put when we transfer to OOC.

In this version you don't know about your previous life at best you only know what you did in your previous life. Now understand that you wont evolve right away so you will need to be patient but it will pay off when you are given your strongest form in the tree and this will most be character based rp so you will control how the story goes on I will simply put up situation and different events for whatever may come.

Kishi

Name: Kishi.

Gender: Male.

Appearance: Kishi is taller than the average goblin, standing at an impressive 4 foot 3 inches. He has a thick head of oily black hair and currently wears a tattered loincloth. His eyes are lime green, which are the same color as his skin. Kishi has a hooked nose, which shares a striking similarity to a beak. He stands up straight and has a very civilized air about him.

Personality: Kishi is warm and kind, always ready to lend a hand. He does not share anything personal unless people ask and he doesn't want to bother anyone with his problems. Kishi has a strong sense of morals, refusing to do anything that is unhonorable or hurts innocent people. He has a strong sense of justice, and will protect those who are weaker than him.

Kishi has a distaste for those who would lie or cheat him, but his sense of justice extends to his enemies as well. Enemies who promise to change their ways are almost alwaya guaranteed to avoid his wrath, which can backfire easily. He also has an obsession over a small rock he found, constantly feeling for it and checking to make sure it is safe. The rock is light blue, smooth, and not magical in any way. He would fly into a rage and use everything he has available to get it back if he ever lost it. He also is obsessed about making things as efficient as possible.

Past Life History: Kishi was once known as Dana White, future engineer and plane crash survivor. As a child, Dana played in the forest with a wooden sword and studied to enter a good university. At the age of 18, he graduated top of his class, and it was clear that he was on the path towards greatness. Unfortunately, on the flight to his new university, his plane crashed on a remote island, killing everyone but himself. He spent the next 6 years fighting to stay alive. He rarely wasted anything he found, making all of his weapons and tools. The only reason he died was because of a particularly cruel winter. The next time he opened his eyes, he was much smaller and had no memory of his past life.

Skills: Kishi is talented at crafting, particularly equipment.

Other: Kishi is right-handed and has a light hoarding problem.

Isurta

Gender:
Female

Appearance: Four foot tall, and not all that attractive like most goblins. She's honestly not all that different from your average goblin. However, Isurta does have one striking difference. Violet colored eyes, with a skin tone slightly leaning towards the blue color of the spectrum. She doesn't wear much, aside from a loincloth around her waist, and a small strap of cloth covering her chest.

Personality:
Now, if there is one word to describe Isurta, it is incredibly curious with a healthy dose of mischievousness and impishness. She is incredibly curious about the world around her, and generally likes learning pretty much anything she can get her hands on. Indeed, if she comes across anything interesting or any sort of curious item she'll probably spend a few minutes trying to figure out what exactly it is she's looking at. She loves poking around old ruins and places for funsies, and if there is something to be learned you can expect her to attempt to learn it.

That said, she's not exactly the nicest person out there. While nothing is majorly apparent with her attitude or way she treats others she's not going to be one to not do something if it strikes her fancy because of 'morality' or 'ethics.' If something seems like it might be possible, you can very well assume she will do it.

Past Life History:
Isurta was once a rather well respected scholar and scientist. Graduated top of her class from a world-class university in Britain and went to travel around the world to study various cultures, histories, and archaeological dig sites. It wasn't exactly the life of some rich and famous person, but hell. Traveling was fun and she got to meet some interesting people. She earned multiple awards and recognition for research papers, theories on historical sites and a number of other rewards. Her death came rather suddenly when she was caught in a house fire.

Skill:
Considerable intelligence, and learning ability regarding academic subjects.

Other:
Loves apples.
has an irrational fear of fire.

About how much control will we have over what we evolve into? Not that I don't like some randomness, but If my character evolves into something that I don't exactly like, my interest in playing might go down a bit.

well in everything it all depends on you but like the manga their will be a warning that tells you when you can rank up. Because im nice ill tell you the title of what you will turn into if you rank up at that moment. So completely your choice to rank up or wait. If you present a good case I might decide to let you redo but that will be a rare occurrence and will only take you to your previous rank not starting from scratch. To start from scratch you would need to die. @Rune_Alchemist

Skubli

Name: Skubli
Gender: Male
Appearance: Skubli is remarkably small, even among goblin folk. Standing at a pathetic 3 foot 5 inches, Skubli is smaller than most goblins you'll meet. He possesses a hunched posture and and sleek shape. Skubli's skin is a shadowy green shade, contrasted sharply by his piercing yellow eyes. His lack of hair persists throughout his entire body, even across his scalp. The small goblin wears the typical dark loincloth, however he differs in the fact that he wears a small mantle of black cloth over his shoulders.
Physically, this goblish creature is rather fragile. His hands possess sharp nails and flexible fingers. His nose hooks downwards over his mouth, giving him a sleek form.
Personality: Skubli is not a particularly warm creature. While his loyalty is undying, his trust is a hard thing to come by. Skulbi won't cause you trouble if you leave him alone, however the little guy can be surprisingly spiteful if you cross him; however, due to his size, Skubli tends to ere on the side of timidity and not anger the big fish in the pond. He finds his anchor in familiarity, such as the black mantle he wears. The surrounding grasp of the cloth brings him comfort. If the goblin can lend you a hand without causing himself too much trouble, he'll usually do it, however Skubli will always try to get something out of it.
While he is known to think for himself, Skubli is not a cruel creature. He despises senseless pain, however he has learned that it is simply a fact of life.
Past Life History: Skubli's human life had everything that he needed to survive, but not much more. He grew up in the slums of Detroit. He kept his head down and did his best to avoid trouble. His parents weren't the best, however they were always there for him. His mother was a bit of a drunk and his father had an issue with anger, but they raised him as best they could. He never had any siblings to look out for him, so he grew up learning how to take a hit and how to stay out of serious trouble. Skubli always knew that unsuspected acts of violence always happened, but he had become so accustomed to being able to avoid trouble that he never considered he could be a victim. One wrong look at the wrong guy ended up with him living his last few minutes in the corner of an ally, slashed up and bleeding out his last pint of blood.
Skill: Skubli's small form, sharp claws for climbing, and dark skin/mantle let him be pretty sneaky. Nothing too astounding, but it takes a pretty sharp goblin to catch him.
Other: The mantle he wears is basically his comfort blanket. It keeps him warm and hides him from other people. Without it, he loses a lot of his vitality.

There ya go! Just curious about the evolution you mentioned. Does it mean that eventually their unique attributes will be accentuated, they'll develop new ones, or what?

It all depends. What do you mean by accentuate your unique attributes? Do you refer to your skills like your sneaky abilities making you even more sneaky and harder to detect? Because certain evolutions will give you new abilities but be more specific in what you are trying to ask.

Well like in Kishi's case, he is highly intelligent and mechanically gifted. When he evolves (if he wants this), would he like gain more intelligent and be able to build more complex contraptions? Or would he like just gain something else, like keener vision?

Gender:
"What's it to ya?"

Appearance:
About four inches tall but notably stockier than your average goblin. Onos is on the darker side, their skin a dark green and eyes a dark tinge of red. Their arms are noticeably longer and thicker than your is usual, with broad, thick nails more useful for digging and gouging than scratching.

Personality:
Onos' has a continual chip on their shoulder, almost like they spite the world for the gift of life. They are a brutish and cruel thug at worst, and a crass jerk at best. However they have a surprising capacity of respect and loyalty to those who can earn it, through guile or through strength. In the end however, don't expect them to suddenly reveal a heart of gold and compassion. In their eyes, the strong take what is theirs.

Past Life History:
Onos was once a gang enforcer, breaking fingers and inverting kneecaps for a living. As is befitting such a lifestyle, "Devon" as they were known, didn't live to see retirement age and found themselves face down in a pool of their own blood from a rival gang's raid.

Skill:
If it's one thing Onos does well, it's hitting someone where it will hurt the most and having the strength to put that knowledge to good use.

Other:
Due to his longer arms, Onos tends to run along all fours much like an ape and in general tends to act more savage.

Name: Stegs

Gender: Male

Appearance: Being no taller or shorter than the average goblin Stegs's distinguishing mark is the fact his skin color is bright green, similar to leafs in spring

Personality: While not a lone wolf, Stegs does appreciate some privacy every now and then. He has no issues killing non intelligent animals, but prefers to avoid combat with sentient creatures. Though he will fight in either selfdefense or to protect other members of his colony/clan/tribe/whatever a group of goblins is called. Despite the dangers he prefers being out in the forest over staying in the cave, mostly because he likes all the different plants.

He is industrious but has a tendency to get wrapped up in his pet projects, especially if he feels it can help the colony.

Past Life History : Once in another world Stegs was a gardener named Danny Richards. One day while putting the finishing touches on a topiary turtle, the middle aged man suffered a fatal heart attack. when he opened his eyes again all memories of Danny Richard and that other world were gone.

Skill: Stegs has basic instinctive knowledge on how to grow plants, or in other words he has both literally and figuratively green thumbs.

Only thing that separates herself from the other ugly Goblins is that she has a birthmark in the form of a four leaf clover on her neck.
Personality (Talk about how your goblin thinks acts and feels. Be detailed as this will be what determines how you will here in this violent world):

Alexis is a very friendly person and for that some people may call her naive. She likes to help people and likes to talk even more than that. If someone would need help , any kind...she will try her best to help that person. No matter what. She is an open person , she doesn't hide things because she doesn't have things that need to be hidden. Anything she does can be learned from just asking her. No matter how private or not so private that thing is. When talking about other people's secrets she knows how to keep her mouth shut.

Past Life History (Not that important but it will add flavor and help explain why you are who you are here as a goblin. For example if you were a thief in your past life then it would explain how you are good at stealing in this life): In her past life Alexis was a very lucky person. She was one of the few people in the world that won the lottery and her life changed since that moment. A life full of partying and her MMA ( Mixed Martial Arts ) classes.
