That way you can tell them what they want to hear. The contract signing business is a drawback which comes with powers of its own. The shadow is a way to further motivate people to sign it or even gather information so your lies are more believable.

@Bishop That sounds more like greed, lust, or gluttony. The Demon that craves lies or causes people to lie would have no need to know a person's desires. If you want that power you need to change demons.

Doesn't take over him. The demon is death. He kills by making people's life span end.
